मंद मंद बारिश होने लगी है। अर्ध रात्रि का समय है। देवकी और वसुदेव के हाथ-पैरो की बेड़ियां खुल गई है और भगवान कृष्ण ने चतुर्भुज रूप से अवतार लिया है। देवकी और वसुदेव ने भगवान की स्तुति की है। देवकी ने कहा कि प्रभु आपका रूप दर्शनीय नही है, आप और बालको की तरह छोटे से बन जाइये। भगवान छोटे से बाल कृष्ण बनके माँ की गोद में विराजमान हो गए।
वहाँ पर सुन्दर टोकरी है। उसमें मखमल के गद्दे लगे हुए है। भगवान की प्रेरणा हुई कि आप मुझे गोकुल में छोड़ आइये और वहाँ से कन्या को लेकर आ जाइये। वसुदेव चल दिए है। कारागार के द्वार अपने आप खुल गए और सभी सैनिक बेहोश हो गए। रास्ते मैं यमुना नदी आई है। वसुदेव जी यमुना पार कर रहे है लेकिन यमुना जी भगवान कृष्ण की पटरानी है। पैर छूना चाहती है लाला के। लेकिन ससुर जी लाला को टोकरी में लिए हुए है। यमुना ने अपना जल स्तर बढ़ाना शुरू किया।
भगवान बोले अरी यमुना, ये क्या कर रही है? देख अगर मेरे बाबा को कुछ हुआ तो अच्छा नही होगा।
यमुना बोली कि आज तो आपके बाल रूप के दर्शन हुए हैं। तो क्या में आपके चरण स्पर्श न करूँ? तब भगवान ने अपने छोटे-छोटे कमल जैसे पाँव टोकरी से बाहर निकाले और यमुना जी ने उन्हें छुआ और आनंद प्राप्त किया। फिर यमुना का जल स्तर कम हो गया। लेकिन बारिश भी बहुत तेज थी। तभी शेषनाग भगवान टोकरी के ऊपर छत्र छाया की तरह आ गए। आज भगवान के दर्शन करने को सब लालायित है। वसुदेव जी ने यमुना नदी पार की है और गोकुल में आ गए हैं।
चलिए अब थोड़ा दर्शन नन्द बाबा और यशोदा मैया के नन्द गाँव का करते हैं। बात उस समय कि है जब माघ का महीना और मकर सक्रांति का दिन था। नन्द बाबा के छोटे भाई थे उपनन्द। इनके घर ब्राह्मण भोजन करने आये थे। ब्राह्मणों ने एक साथ आशीर्वाद दिया था ब्रजराज आयुष्मान भवः, ब्रजराज धनवानभवः, ब्रजराज पुत्रवान भवः।
नन्द बाबा बोले- ब्राह्मणों, आप हंसी क्यों करते हो? मैं 60 साल का हो गया हूँ और आप कहते हो पुत्रवान भवः।
ब्राह्मण बोले कि हमारे मुख से आशीर्वाद निकल गया है कि आपके यहाँ बेटा ही होगा। आशीर्वाद देकर सभी ब्राह्मण वहां से चले गए।
माघ मास एकम तिथि नन्द और यशोदा को सपने में कृष्ण का दर्शन हुआ और उस दिन यशोदा ने नन्द बाबा के द्वारा गर्भ धारण किया। सावन का महीना रक्षा बंधन का दिन आया। सभी ब्राह्मण नन्द बाबा के पास आये। नन्द बाबा ने सबके हाथो में मोली बाँधी और सबको दक्षिणा दी। फिर वही आशीर्वाद दिया। ब्रजराज धनवान भवः, आयुष्मान भवः, पुत्रवान भवः।
नन्द बाबा को हंसी आ गई और बोले- आपका आशीर्वाद फलने तो लगा है लेकिन पुत्रवान की जगह पुत्रीवान हो गई तब क्या करोगे?
ब्राह्मण बोले कि हम ऐसे वैसे ब्राह्मण नही है, कर्मनिष्ठ है और धर्मनिष्ठ ब्राह्मण है। यदि आपके यहाँ लड़की भी हो गई तो उसे लड़का बना कर दिखा देंगे। तुम रक्षा मोली बाँध दो।
जब जाने लगे ब्राह्मण तो नन्द बाबा बोले कि आप ये बता दीजिये कि अभी लाला के जन्म में कितना समय बाकि है?
सभी ब्राह्मण एक साथ बोले कि आज से ठीक आठवे दिन रोहिणी नक्षत्र के तीसरे चरण में आपके यहाँ लाला का जन्म हो जायेगा।
ब्राह्मण आशीर्वाद देकर चले गए।
नन्द बाबा ने आठ दिन पहले ही तैयारी कर दी। सारे गोकुल को दुल्हन की तरह सजा दिया गया। वो समय भी आ गया।
रात्रि के आठ बज गए। घर के नौकर चाकर सब नन्द बाबा के पास आये और बोले कि बाबा! नाम तो आज का ही लिया है न? हमें नींद आ रही है, आठ दिन से सेवा में लगे हैं, आप कहो तो सो जाये? नन्द बाबा ने बोला हाँ भैया, तुमने बहुत काम किया है आप सो जाओ। घर के नौकर चाकर सोने चले गए।
2 घंटे का समय और बीता। नन्द बाबा कि 2 बहन थी नंदा और सुनंदा। नन्द बाबा ने सुनंदा से कहा बहन, रात के 10 बज रहे है मुझे भी नींद आ रही हैं, तू कहे तो थोड़ी देर के लिए में भी सो जाऊँ? सुनंदा बोली कि हाँ भैया, तुम भी सो जाओ। मैं भाभी के पास हूँ। जब लाला का जन्म होगा तो आपको बता दूंगी। नन्द बाबा भी सो गए।
रात के 11 बजे सुनंदा को भी नींद आ गई। यशोदा के पास जाकर बोली भाभी! नाम तो आज का ही लिया है न कि आज ही जन्म होगा? अगर आप कहो तो थोड़ी देर के लिए में सो जाऊँ? बहुत थकी हुई हूँ। यशोदा ने कहा कि हाँ! आप सो जाइये। तो लाला कि बुआ सुनंदा भी 11 बजे सो गई।
अब प्रश्न उठता है कि सब लोग क्यों सो रहे है भगवान के जन्म के समय? क्योकि पहले आ रही है योग माया। माया का काम है सुलाना। लेकिन जब भगवान आते है तो माया वहाँ से चली जाती है और सबको जगा देते है।
जब 12 बजे का समय हुआ तो लाला की मैया भी सो गई। उसी समय वसुदेव जी आये और लड़की(देवी) को लेकर चले गए और लाला(कृष्ण) को यशोदा के बगल में लिटा दिया।
भगवान माँ के पलंग पर सोये हुए हैं। लेकिन जहाँ से आवाज आती है वहीँ से खर्राटे की आवाज आ रही है। माँ सो रही है, पिता सो रहे है, बुआ सो रही है, घर के नौकर-चाकर सभी सो रहे है। कितने भोले है ब्रजवासी इनको ये नही पता कि मैं पैदा हो गया हु। उठ कर नाचे गाये। क्या में मैया से कह दूँ कि मैया, मैं पैदा हो गया हूँ तू जाग जा? भगवान बोले नही नही, यहाँ बोला तो माँ डर जाएगी।
अब क्या करू? भगवान ने सोचा कि थोड़ा सा रोऊँ जिससे माँ जाग जाएगी। लेकिन भगवान को रोना ही नहीं आता है। फिर भी बालकृष्ण ने एक्टिंग की है रोने की। लेकिन संसार के बालक की तरह नही रोये। भगवान जब रोने लगे तो ओम कि ध्वनि निकल गई। कृष्णं बन्दे जगतगुरू।
अब सबसे पहले लाला कि बुआ जाग गई। अरी बहन सुनंदा बधाई हो बधाई हो, लाला का जन्म भयो। दौड़कर नन्द बाबा के पास गई है और बोली कि लाला का जन्म हो गया है।
देखते ही देखते पूरा गाँव जाग गया। सभी और बधाई बाँटने लगी और सब भगवान कृष्ण के जन्म को उत्साहपूर्वक मनाने लगे। हर तरफ से आवाज आने लगी।
नन्द के आंनद भयो जय कन्हैया लाल की।
हाथी दीने घोडा दीने और दिनी पालकी।।
आप सभी को कृष्ण जन्म की अग्रिम बधाई हो। जो भी भक्त, भगवान के जन्म की कथा सुनता है उसके जीवन में सदैव मंगल ही मंगल होता है।
It has started raining slowly. It’s midnight. The shackles of the hands and feet of Devaki and Vasudev have been removed and Lord Krishna has incarnated in a four-armed form. There is a beautiful basket. It has velvet mattresses. God inspired that you drop me in Gokul and bring the girl from there. Vasudev has gone. The doors of the prison opened automatically and all the soldiers fainted. Yamuna river has come on the way. Vasudev ji is crossing the Yamuna but Yamuna ji is the queen of Lord Krishna. Wants to touch Lala’s feet. But the father-in-law is carrying Lala in a basket. Yamuna started increasing its water level.
God said Hey Yamuna, what is she doing? Look, if anything happens to my Baba, it will not be good.
Yamuna said that today I have seen your child form. So should I not touch your feet? Then the Lord took out His tiny lotus like feet from the basket and Yamuna ji touched them and enjoyed. Then the water level of Yamuna decreased. But the rain was also very heavy. Only then Lord Sheshnag came like a canopy over the basket. Today everyone is eager to see God. Vasudev ji has crossed the river Yamuna and has come to Gokul.
Let us now visit the Nand village of Nand Baba and Yashoda Maiya. It is about that time when it was the month of Magh and the day of Makar Sankranti. Upanand was the younger brother of Nand Baba. Brahmins came to his house to have food. The brahmins blessed together: Brajraj Ayushman Bhava, Brajraj Dhanwanbhava, Brajraj Putrawan Bhava. Nand Baba said – Brahmins, why do you laugh? I have become 60 years old and you say, may you have a son.
Brahmins said that blessings have come out of our mouth that you will have a son here. After giving blessings, all the Brahmins left from there. Magh month Ekam Tithi Nand and Yashoda saw Krishna in their dreams and on that day Yashoda conceived through Nand Baba. The day of Raksha Bandhan has come in the month of Sawan. All the Brahmins came to Nand Baba. Nand Baba tied pearls in everyone’s hands and gave Dakshina to everyone. Then he gave the same blessings. May Brajraj be wealthy, may Ayushman be blessed, may he have sons. Nand Baba laughed and said – Your blessings have started bearing fruit, but instead of a son, you have become a daughter, then what will you do? Brahmin said that he is not such a Brahmin, he is dedicated and religious Brahmin. Even if you have a girl here, you will show her as a boy. You tie Raksha Moli. When the Brahmins started leaving, Nand Baba said that you tell me how much time is left for Lala’s birth?
All the Brahmins said together that on the eighth day from today, in the third phase of Rohini Nakshatra, Lala will be born at your place. Brahmin left after giving blessings. Nand Baba made preparations eight days in advance. The whole of Gokul was decorated like a bride. That time has also come. It’s eight o’clock in the night. All the servants of the house came to Nand Baba and said that Baba! You have taken the name of today only, have you not? I am feeling sleepy, I have been engaged in service for eight days, if you ask me to go to sleep? Nand Baba said yes brother, you have done a lot of work, go to sleep. The servants of the house went to sleep. Another 2 hours passed. Nanda Baba had two sisters Nanda and Sunanda. Nand Baba said to Sunanda, sister, it is 10 o’clock in the night, I am also feeling sleepy, if you ask me to sleep for a while? Sunanda said yes brother, you also sleep. I am with sister-in-law. I will let you know when Lala is born. Nand Baba also fell asleep. Sunanda also fell asleep at 11 o’clock in the night. Sister-in-law went to Yashoda and said! You have taken the name of today, will you not be born today? If you ask, can I sleep for a while? I am very tired. Yashoda said yes! You go to sleep So Lala’s aunt Sunanda also slept at 11 o’clock.
Now the question arises that why everyone is sleeping at the time of the birth of God? Because Yoga Maya is coming first. Maya’s job is to make you sleep. But when God comes, Maya leaves from there and wakes everyone up. When it was 12 o’clock, Lala’s mother also fell asleep. At the same time Vasudev ji came and took the girl (Devi) away and made Lala (Krishna) lie next to Yashoda. God is sleeping on mother’s bed. But from where the sound is coming, the sound of snoring is coming from there. Mother is sleeping, father is sleeping, aunt is sleeping, all the servants are sleeping. Braj residents are so innocent, they don’t know that I have been born. Get up and dance Should I tell mother that mother, I am born, you wake up? God said no, no, if I spoke here, mother would be scared. what to do now God thought that I should cry a little so that mother would wake up. But God doesn’t know how to cry. Still Balakrishna has acted to cry. But don’t cry like a child of the world. When God started crying, the sound of Om came out. Krishnam Bande Jagatguru.
Now Lala’s aunt woke up first. Hey sister Sunanda, congratulations, Lala is born. Nand ran to Baba and said that Lala was born. The whole village woke up in no time. Everyone started sharing greetings and everyone started celebrating the birth of Lord Krishna enthusiastically. Sound started coming from all sides.
Nanda’s joy was Jai Kanhaiya Lal. I gave him elephants, he gave me horses and I gave him a carriage.
