राधा जी की जन्म कथा

धार्मिक कथाओं के अनुसार, आज से पांच हजार
दो सौ वर्ष पूर्व मथुरा जिले के गोकुल-महावन कस्बे
के निकट “रावल गांव” में वृषभानु एवं
कीर्तिदा की पुत्री के रूप में राधा रानी ने जन्म
लिया था। राधा रानी के जन्म के संबंध में यह
कहा जाता है कि राधा जी माता के पेट से
पैदा नहीं हुई थी उनकी माता ने अपने गर्भ में
“वायु” को धारण कर रखा था उसने योग
माया कि प्रेरणा से वायु को ही जन्म दिया.
परन्तु वहाँ स्वेच्छा से श्री राधा प्रकट हो गई.

प्रदेश के एक सुन्दर मंदिर में अवतीर्ण हुई उस समय
भाद्र पद का महीना था, शुक्ल पक्ष
की अष्टमी तिथि, अनुराधा नक्षत्र, मध्यान्ह
काल १२ बजे और सोमवार का दिन था. उस समय
राधा जी के जन्म पर नदियों का जल पवित्र
हो गया सम्पूर्ण दिशाए प्रसन्न निर्मल हो उठी.
वृषभानु और कीर्तिदा ने पुत्री के कल्याण
की कामना से आनंददायिनी दो लाख उत्तम
गौए ब्राह्मणों को दान में दी.

ऐसा भी कहा जाता है कि एक दिन जब वृषभानु
जी जब एक सरोवर के पास से गुजर रहे थे, तब उन्हें एक
बालिका “कमल के फूल” पर तैरती हुई मिली, जिसे
उन्होंने पुत्री के रूप में अपना लिया।
राधा रानी जी आयु में श्रीकृष्ण से ग्यारह माह
बडी थीं. लेकिन श्री वृषभानु जी और
कीर्ति देवी को ये बात जल्द ही पता चल गई
कि श्री किशोरी जी ने अपने प्राकट्य से
ही अपनी आँखे नहीं खोली है. इस बात से उन्हें
बड़ा दुःख हुआ कुछ समय पश्चात जब नन्द महाराज
कि पत्नी यशोदा जी गोकुल से अपने लाडले के
साथ वृषभानु जी के घर आती है तब वृषभानु जी और
कीर्ति जी उनका स्वागत करती है
यशोदा जी कान्हा को गोद में लिए
राधा जी के पास आती है. और जैसे ही श्री कृष्ण
और राधा आमने-सामने आते है . तब
राधा जी पहली बार अपनी आँखे खोलती है. अपने
प्राण प्रिय श्री कृष्ण को देखने के लिए , वे एक टक
कृष्ण जी को देखती है, अपनी प्राण प्रिय
को अपने सामने एक सुन्दर-सी बालिका के रूप में
देखकर कृष्ण जी स्वयं बहुत आनंदित होते है. जिनके
दर्शन बड़े बड़े देवताओ के लिए भी दुर्लभ है तत्वज्ञ
मनुष्य सैकड़ो जन्मो तक तप करने पर
भी जिनकी झाँकी नहीं पाते, वे
ही श्री राधिका जी जब वृषभानु के
यहाँ साकार रूप से प्रकट हुई. और गोप ललनाएँ जब
उनका पालन करने लगी. स्वर्ण जडित और सुन्दर
रत्नों से रचित चंदन चर्चित पालने में
सखी जनो द्वारा नित्य झुलाई जाती हुई
श्री राधा प्रतिदिन शुक्ल पक्ष के
चंद्रमा की कला की भांति बढ़ने लगी….
