।। श्री राम परमात्मने नमः ।।
अपने धर्म का अत्यंत निष्काम भाव से आचरण करने से, अत्युत्तम हिंसाहीन कर्मयोग से मेरे दर्शन, स्तुति, महापूजा, स्मरण और वंदन से, प्राणियों में मेरी भावना करने से, असत्य के त्याग और सत्संग से, महापुरुषों का अत्यन्त मान करने से, दु:खियों पर दया करने से, अपने समान पुरुषों से मैत्री करने से, वेदान्तवाक्यों का श्रवण करने से, मेरा नाम-संकीर्तन करने से, सत्संग और कोमलता से, अहंकार का त्याग करने से और मेरे भागवत-धर्मों की इच्छा करने से जिसका चित्त शुद्ध होगया है, वह पुरुष मेरे गुणों का श्रवण करने से ही अति सुगमता से मुझे प्राप्त कर लेता है।
जिस प्रकार वायु के द्वारा गन्ध अपने आश्रय को छोड़कर घ्राणेन्द्रिय में प्रविष्ट होता है, उसी प्रकार योगाभ्यास में लगा हुआ चित्त आत्मा में लीन हो जाता है।
समस्त प्राणियों में आत्मरूप से मैं ही स्थित हूँ, हे मात: ! उसे न जानकर मूढ़ पुरुष केवल बाह्य भावना करता है। किन्तु क्रिया से उत्पन्न हुए अनेक पदार्थों से भी मेरा संतोष नहीं होता। अन्य जीवों का तिरस्कार करने वाले प्राणियों से प्रतिमा में पूजित होकर भी मैं वास्तव में पूजित नहीं होता।
मुझ परमात्मदेव का अपने कर्मों द्वारा प्रतिमा आदि में तभी तक पूजन करना चाहिए जब तक कि समस्त प्राणियों में और अपने-आप में मुझे स्थित न जाने। जो अपने आत्मा और परमात्मा में भेदबुद्धि करता है उस भेददर्शी को मृत्यु अवश्य भय उत्पन्न करती है,इसमें संदेह नहीं।
इसलिए अभेददर्शी भक्त समस्त परिछिन्न प्राणियों में स्थित मुझ एकमात्र परमात्मा का ज्ञान, मान और मैत्री आदि से पूजन करे। इस प्रकार मुझ शुद्ध चेतना को ही जीवरूप से स्थित जानकर बुद्धिमान पुरुष अहर्निश सब प्राणियों को चित्त से ही प्रणाम करे। इसलिए जीव और ईश्वर का भेद कभी न देखे।
हे मात: ! मैंने तुमसे यह भक्तियोग और ज्ञानयोग का वर्णन किया। इनमें से एक का भी अवलंबन करने से पुरुष आत्यन्तिक शुभ प्राप्त कर लेता है। अत: हे मात: ! मुझे सब प्राणियों के अन्त:करण में स्थित जानते हुए अथवा पुत्ररूप से भक्तियोग के द्वारा नित्यप्रति स्मरण करते रहने से तुम शान्ति प्राप्त करोगी।
भगवान् राम के ये वचन सुनकर कौसल्याजी आनंद से भर गयीं। और हृदय में निरन्तर श्रीरामचन्द्र जी का ध्यान करती हुई संसार-बन्धन को काटकर तीनों प्रकार की गतियों को पारकर परमगति को प्राप्त हुईं।

By performing one’s dharma with utmost disinterestedness, by supreme non-violence karma yoga, by darshan, praise, great worship, remembrance and worship of me, by having feelings for me in living beings, by renunciation of untruth and in satsang, by having great respect for great men, Whose mind becomes pure by showing mercy to the poor, by befriending men like himself, by listening to Vedantvakyas, by chanting my name, by satsang and tenderness, by renouncing the ego and desiring my Bhagavata-Dharmas Yes, that man attains me very easily just by listening to my qualities.
Just as the smell leaves its shelter and enters the olfactory organs through the air, in the same way the mind engaged in the practice of yoga merges with the soul.
I alone am situated in all living beings, oh Mother! Not knowing it, the foolish man only feels outwardly. But I am not satisfied even with many substances produced by action. I am not actually worshiped even though I am worshiped in an image by creatures who despise other living beings.
I should worship the Supreme God through my deeds in idols etc. only until I know my place in all beings and in myself. The one who discriminates between his soul and the Supreme Soul, there is no doubt that death creates fear for that discrimination.
That’s why an unbiased devotee should worship me, the only God who is present in all separated beings, with knowledge, respect and friendship etc. In this way, the wise man Aharnish should bow down to all beings with his mind, knowing that pure consciousness is me as the living form. That’s why never see the difference between creature and God.
Oh Mother! I have explained this Bhakti Yoga and Gyan Yoga to you. Relying on even one of these, a man attains great auspiciousness. Therefore O Mother! Knowing me to be situated in the heart of all beings or remembering me daily through bhakti yoga in the form of a son, you will attain peace.
Kausalyaji was filled with joy after hearing these words of Lord Rama. And constantly meditating on Shri Ramchandra ji in the heart, cutting the worldly bondage, crossing all the three types of motions, attained the ultimate goal.
