कामिहि नारि पिआरि जिमि लोभिहि प्रिय जिमि दाम।
तिमि रघुनाथ निरंतर प्रिय लागहु मोहि राम॥
जैसे कामी को स्त्री प्रिय लगती है और लोभी को जैसे धन प्यारा लगता है, वैसे ही हे रघुनाथजी। हे रामजी! आप निरंतर मुझे प्रिय लगिए॥
लोभी कही भी लोभ से तृप्त नही होता, इसी प्रकार बार-बार प्रभु की झांकी का लोभ चाहिये, सुमिरन का मीठा-मीठा दर्द चाहिये, हर समय उसी का ध्यान, इसी को जागृति कहा है, अगर जागोगे तो हर कार्य आपका ध्यान हो जायेगा, ध्यान और धंधा ये कोई अलग-अलग नहीं है, जागकर किया गया हर कार्य ध्यान बन जाता हैं।
हम पाठ भी सोते-सोते करते है, बोलते कहीं है देखते कहीं हैं, सोचते कुछ और है होश भी नहीं रहता कि क्या बोला था? क्या गाया था? इसलिये सोये हुये किया गया भजन भी प्रकाश नहीं दे पा रहा है, जीवन लग गया भजन करते-करते क्योंकि सोते-सोते हो रहा है, सोते में तो स्वपन देखे जाते हैं, अगर हम सब कार्य जागकर करेंगे तो अलग से फिर कोई ध्यान करने की आवश्यकता ही नही है।
ध्यान तो उसका किया जाता है जो हम से दूर हैं, जो हमारे भीतर बैठा है वो तो ध्यान में रहता ही है, अभी भगवान भीतर नहीं है इसलिये ध्यान करना पड़ता है, ध्यान करना और ध्यान में रहना ये दोनों अलग-अलग बातेहै, काम करना और काम में रहना ये दोनों अलग-अलग बाते है, जैसे हम शरीर से मंदिर मे है पर ध्यान मे घर बैठा हैं।
जब जीव प्रभु में डूब जाता है तो अलग से ध्यान करने की जरूरत नही होती, इसलिये गोपियो को भीतर से ध्यान से निकालने के लिये ध्यान करना पड़ता था,गोपियाँ ध्यान करती है कि भगवान भीतर से बाहर निकले ताकि घर का काम-काज कुछ हम कर पायें, ये जागृति अवस्था है, यह घटना आपने सुनी होगी, एक शिष्य गुरु के पास आया दीक्षा लेने के लिये, भगवत-साक्षात्कार करने के लिये।
गुरु ने कहा बारह वर्ष तक धान कूटो, उठते, बैठते, सोते जागते बस धान कूटो, बस चौबीसों घंटे धान कूटते कूटते ध्यान में आ गया, ध्यान अलग से करने की आवश्यकता नहीं, हरि व्यासजी बहुत बड़े संत हुये है, उनके गुरूदेव ने हरि व्यासजी को बोला जाओ बारह वर्ष तक गिरिराजजी की परिक्रमा लगाओ।
अब जो बारह वर्ष गिरिराजजी में डूबेगा उसे अलग से ध्यान करने की आवश्यकता पडेगी क्या? जागृत अवस्था ही ध्यान है, शास्त्र पढकर सत्य के बारे मे जाना तो जा सकता है पर सत्य का अनुभव तो जागृत जीव ही कर पायेगा, इसके लिये साधना करनी पड़ती है, साधना बड़ा मूल्यवान शब्द है, जो मन हमारा बिना इच्छा के इधर उधर गड्ढे में गिर रहा है, वो सध जाये, ये साधना है।
साधु का अर्थ क्या है? जो सध गया है, साधक का अर्थ है जो सधने का प्रयत्न कर रहा है, मन हमारे अनुसार रहे साधना का बस इतना ही अर्थ हैं, हम लोग कहते है न कि रास्ते में बहुत फिसलन है जरा सध के चलो, इधर-उधर पैर पड जायेगा तो पैर फिसल जायेगा, इसलिये सत्य को जाना नहीं जाता, सत्य को जिया जाता है।
पंडित जानता है, साधक अनुभव करता है, विद्वान सत्य की व्याख्या करता है और साधु सत्य का पान करता हैं, इसलिये जागने से मन के विचार मिट जाते हैं, स्वपन तो निद्रा में आते हैं, कुछ लोग जरूर बैठे-बैठे सपने देखते है उन्हे शेखचिल्ली कहा जाता है, वो घटना आपने सुनी होगी, सिर पर दही की मटकी लिये जा रहा था।
सोच रहा था बच्चा होगा, पापा-पापा बोलेगा, पैसे माँगेगा, मैं थप्पड़ लगाऊँगा और सोचते-सोचते मटकी को ही थप्पड़ मार दिया और मटकी धड़ाम से नीचे गिर गई, सज्जनों! जो जागृत में स्वप्न देखते हैं उनकी मटकी बीच रास्ते में फूट जाया करती है इसलिये भागो मत, जागो, जहा भी हो वहीं जागिये।
जनकजी की घटना आपने सुनी होगी, साधु को ले गये स्नान कराने के लिये और सेवक ने आकर कहा कि महल में आग लगी है, जनकजी चैन से स्नान करते रहे और साधु दौड़ा, जनकजी ने पूछा बाबा कहाँ दौड़कर गये थे? बोले तुमने सुना नही, तुम्हारे महल में आग लग गई थी, महल तो मेरा था आग लगी तो तुम क्यों दौड़े?
साधु बोले! मेरी लंगोटी उसमें सूख रही थी, आग लग रही थी इसलिये लंगोट को लेने गया था, बाँधने के लिये महल नहीं चाहिये, बाँधने के लिये लंगोटी ही काफी है, योगियों ने महल छोड दिया हम भिक्षापात्र नही छोड पाते, इसलिये पशु सोये हुये हैं, ये बंधन में रहते है, पाश का अर्थ है बंधन! हम सब किसी न किसी पाश में बंधे हैं।
कोई धन से भाग रहा है तो कोई धन की ओर भाग रहा है, भागने का कारण ही धन है, एक धन की और तो दूसरा धन से दूर, एक पैर के बल खड़ा है एक सिर के बल खड़ा है, व्यक्ति तो वहीं रहता है बदलता कुछ भी नही, इसलिये सज्जनों! स्थान बदलने से कई बार लोग सोचते है कि बदल जायेंगे, किसी तीर्थ में चलते हैं, स्थान बदलने से जीव नही बदलता, स्थिति बदलने से जीवन बदलता है।
साधु-बैरागी हो गये पर वृत्ति तो वही की वहीं रही, घर छोड़कर तीर्थ-आश्रम में आ गये. जो वृत्ति घर मे थी वही बाहर घेर लेगी, स्वभाव नही बदलता, भाई-बहनों! कपड़े बदलने से कोई परिवर्तन नहीं आ सकता, इसीलिये भेद के लिये तो भीतर से बदलना होगा।

Just as a woman is loved by a lustful person and as money is loved by a greedy person, similarly, O Raghunathji. O Lord Rama! You are always dear to me.
A greedy person is not satisfied with greed anywhere, in the same way greed for God’s tableau is needed again and again, sweet pain of Sumiran is needed, attention to him all the time, this is called awakening, if you wake up then every work will become your attention. Meditation and business are not different, every work done while awake becomes meditation.
We recite lessons even while sleeping, speak somewhere, see somewhere, think something else, don’t even realize what was said? What was sung? That’s why even the bhajan done while sleeping is not able to give light, it takes life while doing bhajan because it is happening while sleeping, dreams are seen while sleeping, if we do all the work while awake, then there is no need to meditate separately. There is no need of
Meditation is done on that which is away from us, the one who is sitting inside us always remains in meditation, now God is not within, so meditation has to be done, meditating and staying in meditation are two different things. Doing and staying in work are two different things, like we are in temple with body but sitting at home in meditation.
When the creature is immersed in the Lord, then there is no need to meditate separately, so the gopis had to meditate to remove them from within, the gopis meditate so that God comes out from within, so that we can do household chores. You must have heard this incident, a disciple came to the Guru to take initiation, to have God-realisation.
Guru said threshing paddy for twelve years, just threshing paddy while waking up, sitting, sleeping, twenty-four hours while threshing paddy, he came to meditation, there is no need to meditate separately, Hari Vyasji has become a great saint, his Gurudev Hari Vyasji was told to go around Girirajji for twelve years.
Now the one who will be immersed in Girirajji for twelve years, will he need to meditate separately? Awakened state is meditation, it is possible to know about the truth by reading the scriptures, but only an awakened soul will be able to experience the truth, for this one has to do sadhna, sadhna is a very valuable word, which our mind wanders here and there without desire. I am falling, he should be cured, this is meditation.
What is the meaning of monk? The one who has achieved success, the meaning of the seeker is the one who is trying to achieve, the mind should be according to us, this is the only meaning of the practice, we say that the path is very slippery, just walk with your feet here and there If he goes, his foot will slip, that’s why truth is not known, truth is lived.
The scholar knows, the seeker experiences, the scholar explains the truth and the sage drinks the truth, that’s why the thoughts of the mind are erased by waking up, dreams come in sleep, some people definitely dream while sitting. You must have heard that incident called Shekhchilli, a pot of curd was being carried on his head.
I was thinking that there will be a child, papa-papa will speak, he will ask for money, I will slap and while thinking, I slapped the pot and the pot fell down with a thud, gentlemen! Those who dream while awake, their pot breaks in the middle of the way, so don’t run away, wake up, stay awake wherever you are.
You must have heard the incident of Janakji, the monk was taken to take bath and the servant came and said that there is fire in the palace, Janakji continued to bathe peacefully and the monk ran, Janakji asked where did Baba run? Said you didn’t hear, there was a fire in your palace, the palace was mine, so why did you run?
Sage spoke! My loincloth was drying in it, it was on fire, so I went to take the loincloth, we don’t need a palace to tie it, only a loincloth is enough to tie it, Yogis left the palace, we can’t leave the begging bowl, that’s why the animals are asleep, They live in bondage, Paash means bondage! We are all bound in one way or the other.
Some are running from money and some are running towards money, the reason for running is money, one for money and the other away from money, one is standing on the feet and the other is standing on the head, the person remains there. Nothing changes, that’s why gentlemen! Many times people think that by changing the place they will change, they go to some pilgrimage, the life does not change by changing the place, the life changes by changing the situation.
He became a monk-recluse but the attitude remained the same, leaving home he came to the pilgrimage-ashram. The attitude that was at home will surround you outside, nature does not change, brothers and sisters! No change can come by changing clothes, that’s why for difference one has to change from within. 📿🚩Jai Shri Ram🚩📿
