भाव का भूखा हूँ मैं और भाव ही एक सार है।
भाव से मुझको भजे तो भव से बेड़ा पार है।।
भाव बिन सब कुछ भी दे डालो तो मैं लेता नहीं।
भाव से एक फूल भी दे तो मुझे स्वीकार है।।
भाव जिस जन में नहीं उसकी मुझे चिन्ता नहीं।
भाव पूर्ण टेर ही करती मुझे लाचार है।।
दुखियों की पीड़ा को दूर करना ही भगवान की वास्तविक सेवा…..
प्रत्येक जीव में भगवान बस रहे हैं, ऐसा मानकर सभी प्राणियों को सम्मान देना और सुख पहुंचाना चाहिए। जो दूसरों को दु:ख देकर भगवान की पूजा करता है, भगवान उस पूजा को स्वीकार नहीं करते हैं। भगवान की असली सेवा-पूजा वही व्यक्ति करता है जो दूसरों के दु:ख से दु:खी और दूसरों के सुख से सुखी होता है—
केवल अपने सुख के लिए जो वस्तुओं का संग्रह करता है उसे सदैव सुख की कमी रहती है। जो त्याग करके दूसरों को सुखी करता है उसको कभी सुख की कमी रहती ही नहीं है; क्योंकि भगवान भी अपनी पूरी शक्ति लगाकर उसको सुखी बनाते हैं।
भगवान का पेट कब भरता है ?
तीनि लोक नवखंड में सदा होत जेवनार।
कै सबरी कै बिदुर घर तृप्त हुए दुइ बार।।
अर्थात्—यद्यपि संसार में सदैव ही भगवान के निमित्त भंडारे, ब्रह्मभोज आदि चलते रहते हैं परन्तु भगवान केवल दो बार ही शबरी और विदुरजी के घर कंद-मूल खाकर पूर्ण तृप्त हुए थे।
प्राचीनकाल में एक परम शिवभक्त राजा था। एक दिन उसके मन में इच्छा हुई कि सोमवार के दिन अपने आराध्य भगवान शिव का हौद (वह भाग जहां जलहरी सहित पिण्डी स्थित होती है) दूध से लबालब भर दिया जाए। जलहरी का हौद काफी चौड़ा और गहरा था। राजा की आज्ञा से पूरे नगर में डुग्गी पिटवा दी गयी कि—
‘सोमवार के दिन सारे ग्वाले शहर का पूरा दूध लेकर शंकरजी के मन्दिर आ जाएं, भगवान का हौद भरना है; जो इसका उल्लंघन करेगा, वह कठोर दण्ड का भागी होगा।’
राजा की आज्ञा सुनकर सारे ग्वाले बहुत परेशान हुए। किसी ने भी अपने बच्चों को दूध नहीं पिलाया और न ही गाय के बछड़ों को दूध पीने दिया। दुधमुंहे बच्चे भूख से व्याकुल होने लगे। सभी ग्वाले सारा दूध इकट्ठा कर मन्दिर पहुंचे और भगवान शंकर के हौद में दूध छोड़ दिया। किन्तु आश्चर्य! इतने दूध से भी हौद पूरा न भर सका। यह देखकर राजा बड़ी चिन्ता में पड़ गया।
तभी एक बुढ़िया एक लुटिया भर दूध लेकर आयी और बड़े भक्तिभाव से भगवान पर दूध चढ़ाते हुए बोली—‘शहर भर के दूध के आगे मेरे लुटिया भर दूध की क्या बिसात! फिर भी भगवन्, मुझ बुढ़िया की श्रद्धा भरी ये दो बूंदें स्वीकार करो।’
जैसे ही बुढ़िया दूध चढ़ाकर मन्दिर से निकली, भगवान का हौद एकाएक दूध से भर गया। वहां उपस्थित सभी लोग आश्चर्य में पड़ गए। राजा के पास खबर पहुंची तो उसके भी आश्चर्य का ठिकाना न रहा।
अगले सोमवार को राजा ने फिर भगवान शिव का हौद दूध से भरने की आज्ञा दी। पूरे नगर का दूध भगवान शंकर के हौद में छोड़ा गया; परन्तु फिर से हौद खाली रह गया। पहले की तरह बुढ़िया आई और उसने अपनी लुटिया का दूध हौद में छोड़ा और हौद भर गया। राजकर्मचारियों ने जाकर राजा को सारा वृतान्त सुनाया। राजा के आश्चर्य का ठिकाना न रहा। उसने स्वयं वहां उपस्थित रहकर इस घटना के रहस्य का पता लगाने का निश्चय किया।
तीसरे सोमवार को राजा की उपस्थिति में नगर भर का दूध भगवान के हौद में डाला गया, पर हौद खाली रहा। इसी बीच वह बुढ़िया आयी और उसके लुटिया भर दूध चढ़ाते ही हौद दूध से भर गया। पूजा करके बुढ़िया अपने घर को चल दी। राजा उसका पीछा करने लगा। कुछ दूर जाने पर राजा ने बुढ़िया का हाथ पकड़ लिया। बुढ़िया भय से थर-थर कांपने लगीं। राजा ने उसे अभय देते हुए कहा—‘माई! मेरी एक जिज्ञासा शान्त करो। तुम्हारे पास ऐसा कौन-सा जादू-टोना या मन्त्र है जिससे तुम्हारे लुटिया भर दूध चढ़ाते ही शंकरजी का हौद एकाएक भर जाता है।’
बुढ़िया ने कहा—‘मैं जादू-टोना, मन्त्र-तन्त्र कुछ भी नहीं जानती, न ही करती हूँ। घर के बाल-बच्चों, ग्वालबालों सभी को दूध पिलाकर तृप्त कर बचे दूध में से एक लुटिया दूध लेकर आती हूँ, भगवान को चढ़ाते ही वे प्रसन्न हो जाते हैं। भाव से उन्हें अर्पण करते ही वे उसे ग्रहण करते हैं और हौद भर जाता है। किन्तु तुम दण्ड का भय दिखाकर जबरन नगर के सारे बाल बच्चों, बूढ़ों व ग्वालबालों का पेट काटकर उन्हें भूख से तड़पता छोड़कर सारा दूध अपने कब्जे में करते हो और फिर उसे भगवान को चढ़ाते हो तो उनकी आह से भगवान उसे ग्रहण नहीं करते और उतने सारे दूध से भी भगवान का पेट नहीं भरता और हौद खाली रह जाता है।’
राजा को अपनी भूल समझ में आ गई और आगे से उसने किसी को भी कष्ट पहुंचाने वाली हरकतें न करने की कसम खाली।
पूजनकर्म करते समय रखें इस बात का ध्यान……..
‘मेरे पास जो कुछ है, वह सब उस परमात्मा का ही है, मुझे तो केवल निमित्त बनकर उनकी दी हुई शक्ति से उनका पूजन करना है’—इस भाव से जो कुछ किया जाए वह सब-का-सब परमात्मा का पूजन हो जाता है। इसके विपरीत मनुष्य जिन वस्तुओं को अपना मानकर भगवान का पूजन करता है, वे (अपवित्र भावना के कारण) पूजन से वंचित रह जाती हैं।’

Considering that God resides in every living being, one should respect and provide happiness to all living beings. One who worships God by causing sorrow to others, God does not accept that worship. The real service and worship of God is done by the person who is saddened by the sorrow of others and happy by the happiness of others.
The one who collects things only for his own pleasure always lacks happiness. The one who makes others happy by sacrifice never lacks happiness; Because God also makes him happy by using his full power.
When does God’s stomach fill?
There is always a feast in Teeni Lok Navkhand. Either Sabri or Bidur, the house was satisfied twice.
That is, although Bhandaras, Brahmabhoj etc. are always held in the world for God, but God was completely satisfied only twice by eating tubers and roots at the house of Shabari and Vidurji.
In ancient times, there was a king who was a great devotee of Shiva. One day, he had a desire in his mind that on Monday, the tank of his beloved Lord Shiva (the part where Pindi along with Jalhari is located) should be filled to the brim with milk. The pond of Jalhari was quite wide and deep. On the orders of the king, Duggis were beaten in the entire city that-
‘On Monday, all the milkmen of the city should come to Shankarji’s temple with all the milk, the tank of God has to be filled; Whoever violates this will face severe punishment.
All the cowherds were very upset after hearing the king’s order. No one fed milk to their children nor allowed the calves to drink milk. The suckling children started getting distraught with hunger. All the cowherds collected all the milk and reached the temple and left the milk in Lord Shankar’s tank. But surprise! Even with this much milk the tank could not be filled completely. Seeing this the king became very worried.
Then an old lady came with a pot full of milk and offered it to God with great devotion and said – ‘What is the value of my pot full of milk compared to the milk of the whole city? Still, Lord, please accept these two drops of devotion from me, an old woman.
As soon as the old woman left the temple after offering milk, God’s tank suddenly filled with milk. Everyone present there was surprised. When the news reached the king, he too was surprised.
Next Monday, the king again ordered Lord Shiva’s tank to be filled with milk. The milk of the entire city was released into Lord Shankar’s tank; But again the tank remained empty. Like before, the old woman came and released the milk of her vulva into the tank and the tank got filled. The royal servants went and narrated the entire story to the king. There was no limit to the king’s surprise. He decided to find out the mystery of this incident by being present there himself.
On the third Monday, in the presence of the king, milk from the entire city was poured into the God’s tank, but the tank remained empty. Meanwhile, the old lady came and as soon as she offered milk, the tank got filled with milk. After performing the puja, the old lady left for her home. The king started chasing him. After going some distance, the king caught hold of the old woman’s hand. The old woman started trembling with fear. The king gave her protection and said – ‘Mother! Satisfy one of my curiosity. What kind of magic or mantra do you have by which Shankarji’s tank suddenly gets filled as soon as you offer him a cupful of milk?’
The old lady said, ‘I neither know nor practice any magic or mantra. After satisfying all the children and cowherds of the house with milk, I bring one cup of milk from the remaining milk. As soon as I offer it to God, he becomes happy. As soon as it is offered to him with emotion, he accepts it and the tank gets filled. But by showing fear of punishment, you forcefully cut the stomachs of all the children, old people and cowherds of the city, leave them suffering from hunger and take all the milk in your possession and then offer it to God, then due to their sighs, God does not accept it and all those Even milk does not fill God’s stomach and the tank remains empty.
The king realized his mistake and vowed not to do anything that would hurt anyone from now on.
Keep this in mind while performing puja…..
‘Whatever I have, it all belongs to God, I just have to worship Him with the power given by Him by becoming an instrument’ – whatever is done with this feeling, everything becomes worship of God. . On the contrary, the things which man considers as his own and worships God, are deprived of worship (due to impure feelings).
