।। जय श्रीहरि भगवान विष्णु ।।
भगवान विष्णु के १६ नामों का एक छोटा श्लोक प्रस्तुत है। इसमें मनुष्य को किस किस अवस्थाओं में भगवान विष्णु को किस किस नाम से स्मरण करना चाहिए, इसका उल्लेख किया गया है-
औषधे चिंतयते विष्णुं , भोजन च जनार्दनम।
शयने पद्मनाभं च विवाहे च प्रजपतिं।।
युद्धे चक्रधरं देवं प्रवासे च त्रिविक्रमं।
नारायणं तनु त्यागे श्रीधरं प्रिय संगमे।।
दु:स्वप्ने स्मर गोविन्दं संकटे मधुसूदनम्।
कानने नारसिंहं च पावके जलशायिनाम।।
जल मध्ये वराहं च पर्वते रघुनन्दनम्।
गमने वामनं चैव सर्व कार्येषु माधवम्।।
षोडश एतानि नामानि प्रातरुत्थाय य: पठेत।
सर्व पाप विनिर्मुक्ते, विष्णुलोके महियते।।
भगवान विष्णु अपने सभी भक्तों का मङ्गल करें।

A small verse of 16 names of Lord Vishnu is presented. In this, under which conditions a man should remember Lord Vishnu by which name, it has been mentioned-
In medicine he thinks of Vishnu , and in food he thinks of Janardana. Padmanabha in bed and Prajapati in marriage
He is the god who holds the wheel in battle and is trivikrama in exile Narayana in the renunciation of the body, Sridhar in the confluence of the beloved.
Remember Govinda in a bad dream and Madhusuda in distress. Narasimha in the forest and water lying in the fire.
A boar in the middle of the water and a delight of the Raghus on a mountain Vamana on his way and Madhava in all his affairs.
He who rises in the morning and recites these sixteen names. Freed from all sins, he is glorified in the world of Vishnu.
