हर साल आती गुरुपूर्णिमा,
शिष्यत्व का जागरण कराती गुरुपूर्णिमा ।
गुरु स्मरण कराने आती गुरुपूर्णिमा,
शिष्यों को उनके वादे याद दिलाती गुरुपूर्णिमा ।।

शिष्य की निष्ठा का प्रमाण है गुरुपूर्णिमा,
शिष्य की श्रद्धा की सम्पूर्णता है गुरुपूर्णिमा ।
सद्गुरु के वरदानों का उत्सव है गुरुपूर्णिमा,
सद्गुरु के बरसते आशीषो का महोत्सव है गुरुपूर्णिमा ।।

गुरु सान्निध्य की अनुभूति है गुरुपूर्णिमा,
गुरुसामीप्य का बोध है गुरुपूर्णिमा,
शिष्यत्व के जागरण का उत्सव है गुरुपूर्णिमा,
पूर्ण समर्पण का महोत्सव के गुरुपूर्णिमा ।।

आत्मस्वरूप का ज्ञान कराने आई गुरुपूर्णिमा,
देहाभिमान को दूर कराने आई गुरुपूर्णिमा ।
श्रद्धा निष्ठा से गुरुमय बनाने आई गुरुपूर्णिमा,
गुरुभक्ति का सावन लाई गुरुपूर्णिमा,

भाव संवेदना जगाने आई गुरुपूर्णिमा,
शिष्य में देवत्व जगाने आई गुरुपूर्णिमा ।
दिव्य अनुदान वरदान बरसाने आई गुरुपूर्णिमा,
गुरु के स्नेह की याद दिलाने आई गुरुपूर्णिमा ।।
