Sri Bhishma said –
Thus the mind was filled with disgust for the Supreme Personality of Godhead, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, the Supreme Personality of Godhead. When you have attained your own happiness you sometimes want to enjoy yourself, which is the flow of birth and death.
The sun-god was dressed in a tamarisk-coloured robe that adorned the three worlds. O friend of Vijaya, may my attraction be unfailing for Your lotus-like face, which is covered with a lotus flower.
The dust of the horses in battle was smokeless, and the fatigue of the moving sky was adorned with water. May the shield of Krishna shining on my skin pierced by my sharp arrows be the soul of Krishna.
At once, hearing the words of his friend, he placed his chariot in the middle of his own and the other’s forces. O friend of Arjuna may I have affection for the army of the enemy standing still and taking away Yurakshana.
Looking at the face of Pruthana who was determined to refrain from killing his relatives he felt guilty May I have attraction to the feet of the Supreme Being who by His knowledge destroys all evil thoughts.
He abandoned his covenant with me and jumped into his chariot to take over the dead man who had promised me Holding the foot of his chariot he moved about like a monkey wearing an upper garment to kill an elephant
