इसी समय श्री ललिता जी कहती हैं- हे स्वामिनी जू !..

आप मेरे साथ चलिये। आपको मैं एक सुंदर दृश्य का दर्शन कराऊँगी।

श्रीप्रिया-प्रियतम मन में दर्शन की चाह लिए हुए श्री ललिता जी के साथ चल पड़ते हैं।

श्री यमुना जी के किनारे-किनारे चले जा रहे हैं। एक पूर्णतः निर्जन स्थान आता है। वहाँ एक छोटी सी कुटिया है।

कुटिया के द्वार पर ले जाकर श्री ललिता जी श्रीप्रिया-प्रियतम को खड़ा कर देती हैं, पर वहाँ तो कुछ भी दर्शनीय दर्शय नही है।

श्री ललिता जी युगल सरकार से कहती हैं- इस कुटिया में एक गोपी है।
.
जब मैं प्रातः इधर से निकली तो वह एक छंद में रो-रोकर गा रही थी।
.
मत निराश हो, पड़ी रहो बस
निरवधि अविचल कुंज द्वार पर।
बात बनेगी कभी एक दिन
आएगा वह मंगल अवसर।।
करुणा होगी कृपामयी की
आर्त हृदय का रोदन सुनकर।
हस्त-कमल राधारानी का होगा
निश्चय ही कभी शीश पर।।

ऐसा लगता है कि गाते-गाते भावाधिक्य में उसकी वाणी अवरूद्ध हो गयी है। थोड़ी देर प्रतीक्षा करना उचित होना।

श्री ललिता जी की बात सुनकर श्रीप्रिया-प्रियतम प्रतीक्षा करने लगते हैं।

प्रतीक्षा का अंत आता है और स्खलित वाणी में सुनने को मिलता है-

वह दिन कब आयेगा अनुपम,
सफल नयन हों दर्शन पाकर।
वह क्षण कब जब, राधारानी
रख दें मेरे शीष मृदुल कर।।
अपनी रूचि अनुसार बना लें,
मेरे जीवन को अति सुंदर।
और युगल-सेवा में रख लें,
अपनी दासी सहज मान कर।।

यह सुनते ही श्रीप्रिया जी का हृदय द्रवित हो उठता है…

वे प्रियतम सहित कुटिया में प्रवेश करती हैं तथा उसके शीश पर अपना कोमल करपल्लव रख देती हैं।

मंजुल स्पर्श पाकर वह गोपी चौंक उठती है और देखती है कि मेरे समक्ष युगल सरकार खड़े हैं।

समीप रखे पुष्पों को चरणों पर चढ़ाकर वह समर्पितात्मा गोपी सजल नयन एवं सिक्त कपोलों से उनको अपलक निहारने लगती है।

श्रीप्रिया-प्रियतम की यह द्रवणशीलता मेरे नयनों में सदा बसी रहे, ऐसा कब होगा ?
