4- ‘Dasmastvamasi’ [You are the tenth! ,
Ten young men were going to another village at some point. A big river came on the way. Everyone knew how to swim, so they got into the river and swam across. When he counted himself, the number came to nine. Due to this, a friend drowned in the river, everyone started crying in grief. In the meantime, some passenger came out of that way, seeing her crying, he asked the reason. He told that ‘we were ten, now only nine are left, one drowned, we are crying because of it’. In fact, no one was drowned, every count forgot himself and counted only nine. The traveler understood the matter and persuaded them with tact that they were only ten out of ten, no one had died by drowning.
Here, just as these soldiers had the illusion of being nine even though they were ten, similarly the soul itself, being eternally free and free from vices, gets the illusion of existence in the form of birth and death and there, as soon as the illusion is retired, the tenth man is attained, similarly the soul too As soon as illusion is removed, one attains its own form.
