‘श्यामसुन्दर चाहें हमारा अपमान करावें अथवा सम्मान करें – करावें | बस, श्यामसुन्दर जिससे सुखी हों, केवल वाही हमारा सच्चा मान है | श्यामसुन्दर सदा सर्वदा हमसे मिले रहें, एक पल के लिये भी हमारा त्याग न करें, हममें आसक्त रहें अथवा वे श्यामसुन्दर हमसे कभी भी न मिलें, अपने जीवन को वैराग्य से भर लें | बस, श्यामसुन्दर जैसे सुखी हों, उसी में हमें परम आनन्द है | श्यामसुन्दर चित से विपरीत हमारे मन में कहीं भी किसी भी आनन्द को स्थान नहीं है | श्यामसुन्दर के सुख के लिये हमारे जीवन में कभी यदि कोई त्याग होता हो तो उसका हमें कभी पता ही नहीं रहता, जो कुछ त्याग होता है – वह श्यामसुन्दर के प्रेम से अपने-आप ही, बिना किसी भी कठिनाई के, सरलता के साथ, सुखमय तथा अभिमानरहित होता है | जब श्यामसुन्दर की प्रीति से हृदय पूर्ण है, तब कौन कैसा अभिमान करे ? जब श्यामसुन्दर हमारे जीवन ही बन रहे हैं, तब किस पर कौन अहसान करे ? जब श्यामसुन्दर का प्रेमरूप फल सर्वथा प्राप्त है, तब फिर कौन-सा परम फल अवशेष रह गया ? जब श्यामसुन्दर के लिये सब काम सहज ही होते हैं, तब त्याग का कौन-सा महत्व शेष बच रहा है ? श्यामसुन्दर हमारे सब कुछ हैं और हम सदा केवल श्यामसुन्दर के सुख के साधन हैं | वे श्यामसुन्दर स्वयं ही हमारे द्वारा सदा-सर्वदा अपनी सुखाराधना करवाते रहते हैं |’
यह है गोपी का स्वरूप | यह भाव जहाँ जिसमें जितना प्रस्फूटित है, उसमे वहाँ उतना ही गोपीभाव का विकास है |

In continuation of last post……. ‘Shyamsundar wants to insult us or respect us – get us done. That’s all, Shyamsundar is happy with whom, only that is our true value. May Shyamsundar always meet us, do not leave us even for a moment, be attached to us, or may that Shyamsundar never meet us, fill your life with disinterest. Just as happy as Shyamsundar is, we are very happy in that. Contrary to Shyamsundar Chit, there is no place for any joy anywhere in our mind. If there is any sacrifice in our life for the happiness of Shyamsundar, then we are never aware of it, whatever sacrifice is done – it automatically, without any difficulty, with ease, with the love of Shyamsundar. And is prideless. When the heart is full of love for Shyamsundar, then who can be proud? When Shyamsundar is becoming our life, then who should do any favor? When the fruit of Shyamsundar’s love is completely attained, then what ultimate fruit remains? When everything is easy for Shyamsundar, then what is the importance of renunciation left? Shyamsundar is our everything and we are always only the means of Shyamsundar’s happiness. That Shyamsundar himself always gets his happiness done through us.
This is the form of Gopi. Wherever this emotion is blossomed, to that extent there is development of Gopibhaav.
