कन्हैया की वंशी का स्वर गोपियों के कानों में गुंजता

कृष्ण कन्हैया की वंशी का स्वर केवल गोपियों को ही क्यों सुनाई देता था। व्रज में गोप-ग्वाल नंदबाबा यशोदा सभी निवास करते थे, उन्हें कभी वेणु नाद सुनाई नहीं दिया। यह कैसे संभव है? क्या कारण था कि श्री कृष्ण को इतना अधिक प्रेम करने के उपरांत भी प्रभु की भुवनमोहनी बाँसुरी के सम्मोहन से गोपवृन्द नंदबाबा यशोदा अछूते रह गये।

बाँसुरी साँस के द्वारा बजती है, प्राणों से बजाई जाती है।आत्मा प्रभु की प्रेयसी है, उस पर प्रभु के अतिरिक्त अन्य किसी का अधिकार कैसे हो सकता है।ग्वाल बाल, गोपवृन्द को कोई सुन्दर वस्तु दृष्टिगत होती तो उनकी दृष्टि कन्हैया पर से हट जाती, किन्तु गोपियों की दृष्टि तो नंदनंदन से हटती ही नहीं थी। ग्वाल बाल, गोपवृन्द का श्री कृष्ण के लिये सखा भाव था, नंदबाबा यशोदा मैया का वात्सल्य भाव था और गोपियाँ प्रभु को कांत भाव से भजतीं थीं।

गोपियों का अपना कुछ भी नहीं था, ‘स्वसुख’ की कोई कामना नही। स्वाँस-स्वाँस में प्रिय सुख अभिलाषा, ‘तत्सुख’ के लिये प्राणों को भी त्याग दें। आत्मा और परमात्मा का सम्बन्ध स्थापित हो गया था। बाँसुरी प्राण वाद्य है, हृदय के सर्वोत्तम भावों को, विरह को व्यक्त करने के लिये इससे बढ़कर कोई अन्य वाद्य नहीं। कृष्ण कन्हैया की बाँसुरी बजती है- अर्थात बाँसुरी बजने का तात्पर्य कि नंदनंदन व्याकुल होकर पुकार रहे हैं अपने प्रेमी को, अपने अंशी को।

श्री कृष्ण अपनी बाँसुरी पर गोपाँगनाओं के मन को हरने वाली काम-बीज मंत्र ‘क्लीं’ का सप्तम स्वर छेड़ते थे और बाँसुरी एक एक गोपी का नाम ले लेकर ललिते विशाखे वृषभानुजे पुकारती थी- अब भला इस पुकार को व्रज ललनाएँ कैसे न सुने? गोपियों के चित्त-वृत्ति एक क्षण के लिये भी श्री कृष्ण से विमुख होती ही नहीं थी, इसी कारण वह उसी क्षण बाँसुरी की पुकार, वेणु नाद सुन लेती थीं।

अपने प्रियतम से मधुरातिमधुर मिलन की आकांक्षा तो उनके हृदय में जन्म-जन्मांतर से थी। जब दोनों ही ओर से ऐसे प्रेमी हों, दोनों में ही “तत्सुखसुखित्वा” की भावना हो, हृदय से हृदय के तार जुड़े हों। पृथक देह-धारण केवल लीला के लिये ही हो। कृष्ण कन्हैया अपनी बाँसुरी में अपने प्राण भर कर पुकारें, तब गोपियाँ की हृदयतंत्री के तार कैसे न झनझनायें? कैसे संभव है?

Why was the voice of Krishna Kanhaiya’s clan heard only by the gopis. Gop-Gwal Nandababa Yashoda all resided in Vraj, they never heard the sound of Venu. How is this possible? What was the reason that even after loving Shri Krishna so much, Gopvrind Nandababa Yashoda remained untouched by the hypnosis of Lord’s Bhuvanmohani flute.

The flute is played by the breath, it is played by the soul. The soul is the lover of the Lord, how can anyone other than the Lord have any right over it. When the cowherd boys and the herdsmen see a beautiful object, their eyes turn away from Kanhaiya. Caste, but the eyes of the gopis did not divert from Nandanandan. Gwal Bal, Gopvrind had a friendly feeling for Shri Krishna, Nand Baba had a loving feeling for Yashoda Maiya and Gopis used to worship the Lord with a lot of love.

The Gopis had nothing of their own, no desire for ‘self-sukh’. Desire happiness in every breath, sacrifice even your life for ‘Tatsukh’. The relationship between the soul and the Supreme Soul was established. Bansuri is the life instrument, there is no other instrument better than this to express the best feelings of the heart, separation. Krishna Kanhaiya’s flute sounds – that means the sound of the flute means that Nandanandan is calling out to his lover, his Anshi in distraught form.

Shri Krishna used to play the seventh swara of the sex-seed mantra ‘Kleen’ on his flute, taking the name of each Gopi and calling Lalite Vishakhe Vrishabhanuje – now how can the Vraj Lallanas not listen to this call? The mind-set of the Gopis never deviated from Shri Krishna even for a moment, that is why they used to hear the call of the flute, the sound of Venu at that very moment.

The aspiration of sweet and sweet meeting with his beloved was there in his heart since many births. When there are such lovers from both sides, both have the feeling of “Tatsukhsukhitwa”, heart to heart strings are connected. Separate body-wearing should be only for Leela. When Krishna Kanhaiya calls out with all his soul in his flute, then how can the strings of the heart of the gopis not tingle? How is that possible?
