विष्णुरुवाच
संसारमोहनस्यास्य कवचस्य प्रजापतिः।
ऋषिश्छन्दश्च बृहती देवो लम्बोदरः स्वयम्।।१।।
धर्मार्थकाममोक्षेषु विनियोगः प्रकीर्तितः।
सर्वेषां कवचानां च सारभूतमिदं मुने।।२।।
ॐ गं हुं श्रीगणेशाय स्वाहा मे पातु मस्तकम्।
द्वात्रिंशदक्षरो मन्त्रो ललाटं मे सदावतु।।३।।
ॐ ह्रीं क्लीं श्रीं गमिति च संततं पातु लोचनम्।
तालुकं पातु विघ्नेशः संततं धरणी तले।।४।।
ॐ ह्रीं श्रीं क्लीमिति च संततं पातु नासिकाम्।
ॐ गौं गं शूर्पकर्णाय स्वाहा पात्वधरं मम।।५।।
दन्तानि तालुकां जिह्वां पातु मे षोडशाक्षरः।।६।।
ॐ लं श्रीं लम्बोदरायेति स्वाहा गण्डं सदावतु।
ॐ क्लीं ह्रीं विघ्न-नाशाय स्वाहा कर्ण सदावतु।।७।।
ॐ श्रीं गं गजाननायेति स्वाहा स्कन्धं सदावतु।
ॐ ह्रीं विनायकायेति स्वाहा पृष्ठं सदावतु।।८।।
ॐ क्लीं ह्री मिति कङ्कालं पातु वक्ष:स्थलं च गम्।
करौ पादौ सदा पातु सर्वाङ्गं विघ्ननिघ्नकृत्।।९।।
प्राच्यां लम्बोदरः पातु आग्नेय्यां विघ्न-नायक:।
दक्षिणे पातु विघ्नेशो नैर्ऋत्यां तु गजाननः।।१०।।
पश्चिमे पार्वतीपुत्रो वायव्यां शंकरात्मजः।
कृष्णस्यांशश्चोत्तरे च परिपूर्ण तमस्य च।।११।।
ऐशान्यामेकदन्तश्च हेरम्बः पातु चोर्ध्वतः।
अधो गणाधिपः पातु सर्वपूज्यश्च सर्वतः।।१२।।
स्वप्ने जागरणे चैव पातु मां योगिनां गुरु:।।१३।।
इति ते कथितं वत्स सर्वमन्त्रौघ विग्रहम्।
संसारमोहनं नाम कवचं परमाद्भुतम्।।१४।।
फलश्रुति
श्रीकृष्णेन पुरा दत्तं गोलोके रासमण्डले।
वृन्दावने विनीताय मह्यं दिनकरात्मजः।।१५।।
मया दत्तं च तुभ्यं च यस्मै कस्मै न दास्यसि।
परं वरं सर्वपूज्यं सर्वसङ्कटतारणम्।।१६।।
गुरुमभ्यर्च्य विधिवत् कवचं धारयेत्तु यः।
कण्ठे वा दक्षिणे बाहौ सोऽपि विष्णुर्न संशयः।।१७।।
अश्वमेधसहस्त्राणि वाजपेयशतानि च।
ग्रहेन्द्र-कवचस्यास्य कलां नार्हन्ति षोडशीम् ।।१८।।
इदं कवचमज्ञात्वा यो भजेच्छंकरात्मजम्।
शतलक्षप्रजप्तोऽपि न मन्त्रः सिद्धिदायकः।।१९।।
।। इति श्रीब्रह्मवैवर्त्ते गणपति खण्डे- १३ / ७८ – ९६ शनैश्चरं प्रति विष्नोपदिष्टं संसारमोहनं गणेशकवचं सम्पूर्णम् ।।
भावार्थ-
विष्णु ने कहा- शनैश्चर ! इस ‘संसार-मोहन’ नामक कवच के प्रजापति ऋषि हैं, बृहती छन्द है और स्वयं लम्बोदर गणेश देवता हैं। धर्म, अर्थ, काम और मोक्ष में इसका विनियोग कहा गया है। मुने ! यह सम्पूर्ण कवचों का सारभूत है।
‘ॐ गं हुं श्रीगणेशाय स्वाहा’ यह मेरे मस्तक की रक्षा करे। बत्तीस अक्षरों वाला मन्त्र सदा मेरे ललाट को बचावे।’
‘ॐ ह्रीं क्लीं श्रीं गम्’ यह निरन्तर मेरे नेत्रों की रक्षा करे। विघ्नेश भूतल पर सदा मेरे तालु की रक्षा करें।
‘ॐ ह्रीं श्रीं क्लीं’ यह निरन्तर मेरी नासिका की रक्षा करे तथा,
‘ॐ गौं गं शूर्पकर्णाय स्वाहा’ यह मेरे ओठ को सुरक्षित रखे।
षोडशाक्षर-मन्त्र मेरे दाँत, तालु और जीभ को बचावे।
‘ॐ लं श्रीं लम्बोदराय स्वाहा’ सदा गण्ड-स्थल की रक्षा करे।
‘ॐ क्लीं ह्रीं विघ्न-नाशय स्वाहा’ सदा कानों की रक्षा करे।
‘ॐ श्री गं गजाननाय स्वाहा’ सदा कंधों की रक्षा करे।
‘ॐ ह्रीं विनायकाय स्वाहा’ सदा पृष्ठभाग की रक्षा करे।
‘ॐ क्लीं ह्रीं’ कंकाल की और ‘गं’ वक्ष:स्थल की रक्षा करे।
विघ्ननिहन्ता हाथ, पैर तथा सर्वाङ्ग को सुरक्षित रखें।
पूर्वदिशा में लम्बोदर और अग्नि कोंण में विघ्न-नायक रक्षा करें।
दक्षिण में विघ्नेश और नैर्ऋत्यकोण में गजानन रक्षा करें।
पश्चिम में पार्वतीपुत्र,वायव्यकोण में शंकरात्मज, उत्तर में परिपूर्णतम श्रीकृष्ण का अंश, ईशानकोण में एकदन्त और ऊर्ध्वभाग में हेरम्ब रक्षा करें।
अधोभाग में सर्वपूज्य गणाधिप सब ओर से मेरी रक्षा करें।
शयन और जागरणकाल में योगियों के गुरु मेरा पालन करें।
वत्स ! इस प्रकार जो सम्पूर्ण मन्त्रसमूहों का विग्रहस्वरूप है, उस परम अद्भुत संसारमोहन नामक कवच का तुमसे वर्णन कर दिया।
सूर्यनन्दन ! इसे प्राचीनकाल में गोलोक के वृन्दावन में रास मण्डल के अवसर पर श्रीकृष्ण ने मुझ विनीत को दिया था। वही मैंने तुम्हें प्रदान किया है। तुम इसे जिस किसी को मत दे डालना।
यह परम श्रेष्ठ, सर्वपूज्य और सम्पूर्ण संकटों से उबारने वाला है। जो मनुष्य विधिपूर्वक गुरु की अभ्यर्चना करके इस कवच को गले में अथवा दक्षिण भुजापर धारण करता है, वह निस्संदेह विष्णु ही है।
ग्रहेन्द्र ! हजारों अश्वमेध और सैकडों वाजपेय-यज्ञ इस कवच की सोलहवीं कला की समानता नहीं कर सकते।
जो मनुष्य इस कवच को जाने बिना शंकर सुवन गणेश की भक्ति करता है, उसके लिये सौ लाख जपने पर भी मन्त्र सिद्धिदायक नहीं होता।

OM GAM HUM SRI GANESHAYA SWAHA may you protect my head. May the thirty-two-syllabled mantra always protect my forehead.
May Om Hrim Klim Srim Gami constantly protect my eyes. May Vighnesha always protect my palate on the ground.
May Om Hrim Shrim Klim constantly protect the nose. ॐ Gaum Gam Shurpakarnaya Svaha may you protect my lips.
May the sixteen syllables protect my teeth, palate and tongue.
OM LAM SHRI LAMBODARAYETI SWAHA may always protect the cheek. Ome Klim Hrim Vighna-Nashaya Svaha may you always protect my ears.
OM SHRI GAM GAJANANAYE SWAHA may always protect my shoulder. Ome Hrim Vinayakaya Svaha may always protect my back.
‘Om Klim Hri’ may protect the skeleton and the chest. May the destroyer of obstacles always protect my hands and feet and my whole body.
May Lambodara protect me in the east and Vighna-nayaka in the south. May Lord Vighnesha protect me in the south and Lord Gajanana in the northwest.
The son of Parvati in the west and the son of Shankara in the northwest. A part of Krishna in the north and a complete darkness in the north.
May the one-toothed Heramba protect me in the northeast and above. May the lord of the hosts and worshiped by all protect me below.
May the spiritual master of the yogis protect me in my dreams and in my awakenings.
O child I have thus described to you the conflict of all the streams of mantras This is the supremely wonderful shield called Sansara Mohana.
Phalashruti It was given by Sri Krishna in the past in the Rasa Mandala in the Goloka. The son of the sun-god was humbled to me in Vrindavan.
I have given it to you and to whom you will not give it The supreme boon is worshiped by all and the savior from all troubles.
He who worships the preceptor and wears the shield in accordance with rituals That Vishnu is also undoubtedly on the neck or on the right arm.
Thousands of horse sacrifices and hundreds of Vajapeyas. They do not deserve the sixteenth art of this shield of the lord of the planets.
He who worships the son of Shankara without knowing this shield. Even if one chants a hundred lakhs of mantras, they do not bring about perfection.

gist- Vishnu said – Shanaishchar! The creator of this armor named ‘Sansara-Mohan’ is Rishi, Brihati is Chand and Lambodar himself is Ganesha. Its appropriation has been said in Dharma, Artha, Kama and Moksha. Mune! This is the essence of all armors.

May ‘Om Hrim Klim Shrim Gam’ constantly protect my eyes. May Vighnesh always protect my palate on the ground.

‘Om Gaum Gam Shurpakarnaya Svaha’ keep my lips safe.
Shodashakshara-Mantra save my teeth, palate and tongue.
‘Om Lam Shrim Lambodaraya Svaha’ should always protect the cheek area.
‘Om Klim Hrim Vighna-Nashaya Svaha’ should always protect the ears.
‘Om Sri Gm Gajananaaya Svaha’ should always protect the shoulders.
‘Om Hrim Vinayakaya Svaha’ should always protect the back.
May ‘Om Kleen Hreen’ protect the skeleton and ‘Gam’ protect the chest.
Keep your hands, feet and whole body safe.
Lambodar in the east and Vighna-nayak in the fire corner should protect.
Protect Vighnesh in the south and Gajanan in the southwest.
Parvatiputra in the west, Shankaratmaj in the north, a part of the most complete Shri Krishna in the north, Ekadanta in the northeast and Heramb in the upper part.
May the most revered Ganadhipa in the lower part protect me from all sides.
Follow me, the teacher of yogis, in sleep and wakefulness.
Child ! In this way, I have explained to you the most wonderful armor called Sansaramohan, which is the deity of all the groups of mantras.
Suryanandan! It was given to me Vineet by Shri Krishna in ancient times on the occasion of Raas Mandal in Vrindavan of Goloka. That is what I have given you. Don’t give it to anyone.
He is the most superior, all-worshipable and the savior from all troubles. The person who wears this armor around the neck or on the right arm, after worshiping the Guru, is undoubtedly Vishnu.
Grahendra! Thousands of Ashvamedha and hundreds of Vajpayya-Yagya cannot equal the sixteenth art of this armor.
The person who worships Shankar Suvan Ganesh without knowing this armor, for him even if he chants a hundred lakh mantras, it will not be successful.
