एक बार कान्हा जी एक गोपी के घर में चोरी से गए और कमरे के बीचोंबीच एक मटकी में माखन दिखाई दिया।
कान्हा जी ने कहा अरे वाह ! आज तो इस गोपी ने मेरे माखन का पुरा प्रबंध किया है।
लेकिन कान्हा जी ने सोचा कि कहीं मुझे पकडने के लिए कोई जाल न बिछाया हो।
कान्हा जी ने शंका शील होकर चारों तरफ देखा , कहीं भी कोई नहीं था। कोई आवाज़ भी नहीं थी।
तब कान्हा जी बेफिकर होकर मटकी के पास आए और आराम से बैठकर माखन खाने लगे।
तभी दुसरे कमरे से गोपी आई और कान्हा के सामने खडी हो गई।
कान्हा जी ने गोपी को देखकर कहा :- आओ गोपी आओ। माखन खावोगी ?
अब गोपी का मुख देखने जैसा हो गया , गोपी आंखे निकालकर बोली :- मेरे ही घर में आकर मुझे ही खाने का न्योता दे रहा है ?
तब कान्हा जी ने चारो तरफ देखा और फिर बडी मासूमियत से बोले :- ओ हो ! तो यह तेरा घर है। मैं तो माखन की खुश्बू से यहां आ गया। मुझे तो ज्ञात ही न रहा । ऐसा ही लगा कि यह मेरा घर है।
एक बात बता गोपी ! तु रोज कथा में जाती है फिर भी तेरा मेरा क्युं करती है ?
अब गोपी थोडे क्रोध से बोली :- अरे वाह , एक तो मेरे घर में चोरी करता है और मुझे शास्त्रों का ज्ञान दे रहा है ?
कान्हा जी ने कहा देख गोपी ! मैं तो अपना घर समझकर माखन की खुश्बू से यहां आ गया था। तो यह तो चोरी कैसे हुई ?
अभी तो मैं माखन खाना शुरू ही कर रहा था कि इतने में तु आ गई।
गोपी बोली कि अगर तु माखन नहीं खा रहा था तो तेरे हाथ में माखन कैसे लग गया?
कान्हा गोपी को धमकाते हुए बोले :- अरे गोपी तेरी मटकी पर चींटी थी। तु तो घर भी साफ नहीं रखती।
गोपी बोली कि कहां है चींटी । तो कान्हा जी ने कहा वो तो मैने निकाल दी तो अब कैसे दिखेगी।
तब गोपी बोली कि तेरे गालों पर और होठों पर माखन कैसे लग गया ?
तब कान्हा जी बड़ी मासूमियत से बोले :- वो तो मेरे होठों पर मक्खी बैठी थी तो उसे उडाने में माखन होठों पर लग गया और मेरे बालों की लट गालों पर आ गई तो वहां भी माखन लग गया।
गोपी बोली कि देख कान्हा ! मुझे बातो में मत बहका। यह भोलापन किसी और को दिखाना। आज तो तुझे मैने रंगे हाथ चोरी करते हुए पकडा है। आज तो तुझे बांधकर यशोदा मैया से कहुंगी।
अब गोपी ने लाला को घर मे खम्भे के साथ डोरी से बाँध दिया है। कन्हैया का श्रीअंग बहुत ही कोमल है।
गोपी ने जब डोरी कस कर बाँधी तो लाला की आँख मे आंसू आ गये । गोपी को दया आई। उसने लाला से पूछा- लाला, तुझे कोई तकलीफ होती है क्या?
लाला ने मुख बनाकर और गर्दन हिलाकर बड़ी मासूमियत से कहा- मुझे बहुत दर्द हो रहा है। डोरी जरा ढीली तो करो।
तब गोपी ने विचार किया कि लाला का श्रीअंग बहुत ही कोमल है तो लाला को डोरी से कस कर बाँधना ठीक नही। मेरे लाला को दुःख होगा इसलिए गोपी ने डोरी थोड़ी ढीली करी।
लेकिन फिर पडोस की सखियों को खबर देने गई कि मैने लाला को बाँधा है।
वैष्णवों ! यहाँ पर हम सभी के लिए एक सिख है। तुम लाला को प्रेम में बाँधो , परंतु किसी के सामने उजागर मत करो ।
तुम खूब भक्ति करो परंतु उसे प्रकाशित मत करो। भक्ति प्रकाशित हो जायेगी तो प्रभु चले जायेंगे।
भक्ति का प्रकाश होने से भक्ति बढ़ती नही, भक्ति मे आनंद आता नही।
गोपी बाहर जाने के लिए जरा मुडी ही थी कि तब बालकृष्ण सूक्ष्म शरीर करके डोरी से बाहर निकल गये और गोपी को अंगूठा दिखाकर कहा कि अरे गोपी तुझे बाँधना ही कहा आता है।
कान्हा जी को छुटा हुआ देख गोपी अचम्भित होती है , फिर गोपी कहती है – तो मुझे बता, किस तरह से बाँधना चाहिए ?
गोपी को तो लाला के साथ खेल खेलना था। तब लाला गोपी को बाँधते हैं…और ऐसे बांधते है जैसे यह बंधन कभी ना छूटेगा।
जो योगीजन मन से…श्रीकृष्ण का स्पर्श करते हैं तो समाधि लग जाती है …..।
यहाँ तो गोपी को प्रत्यक्ष श्रीकृष्ण का स्पर्श हुआ है। भाव से गोपी प्रेम समाधि में चली जाती है।
गोपी बहुत मनाती है बंधन खोलने के लिए फिर गोपी रोने लगी।
गोपी को रोते देखकर कान्हा जी भी रोने लगे।
गोपी बोली कि बंधी हुई तो मैं हुं तो तु क्युं रोता है लाला?
कान्हा जी बोले कि गोपी मुझे तो सिर्फ बांधना (प्रेम-बंधन) आता है, मुझे छोडना तो आता ही नहीं।
इसलिए मैं भी तेरे साथ ही रो रहा हुं।
अब गोपी लाला के मुख दर्शन मे तल्लीन हो जाती है। और गोपी को ब्रह्म ज्ञान हो जाता है।
थोड़ी क्षणों के बाद गोपी प्रेम समाधि से बाहर आती है और अपनी बंधी हुई दशा देखकर गोपी कहती है – लाला अब मुझे भी बांधना आ गया है। अब मेरी डोरी छोड़! मुझे छोड़ !
तब कान्हा जी अंगूठा दिखाते हुए मुंह से चिढ़ाते हुए गोपी के पास बैठ जाते हैं।
हम जीव (मानव) ऐसा प्राणी है, जिसको छोड़ना आता है। चाहे जितना प्रगाढ़ सम्बन्ध क्यों न हो परंतु स्वार्थ सिद्ध होने पर उसको एक क्षण में ही छोड़ देते है।
परंतु प्रभु एक बार बाँधने के बाद छोड़ते नही, प्रभु को छोडना आता ही नहीं ….!! सिर्फ प्रेम बंधन में बांधना ही आता है
आशा है कि आप सभी को इस लीला में अलौकिक आनंद की अनुभूति हुई होगी।

🌺 Once Kanha ji went to a Gopi’s house secretly and butter was seen in a pot in the middle of the room.
Kanha ji said oh wow! Today this Gopi has made complete arrangements for my butter.
But Kanha ji thought that some trap might have been laid to catch me.
🌺 Kanha ji looked all around with doubt, there was no one anywhere. There was no sound either.
Then Kanha ji came near the pot without any worries and sat comfortably and started eating butter.
Then Gopi came from the other room and stood in front of Kanha.
Seeing Gopi, Kanha ji said :- Come Gopi, come. Will you eat butter?🌺
🌺 Now Gopi’s face has become like seeing, Gopi opened her eyes and said :- He is inviting me to eat after coming to my own house?
Then Kanha ji looked all around and then said very innocently :- Oh ho! So this is your home. I came here because of the smell of butter. I didn’t even know. It felt like this is my home.
Tell me one thing Gopi! You go to the story everyday, still why do you care about mine?
🌺 Now Gopi said with a little anger :- Oh wow, one steals in my house and is giving me the knowledge of the scriptures?
Kanha ji said, look Gopi! I came here because of the smell of butter considering it as my home. So how did it get stolen?
I was just starting to eat butter when you came.
🌺 Gopi said that if you were not eating butter, then how did you get butter in your hand?
Kanha threatened Gopi and said :- Hey Gopi, there was an ant on your pot. You don’t even keep the house clean.
Gopi said where is the ant. So Kanha ji said that I have removed it, so how will it look now.
Then Gopi said how did you get butter on your cheeks and lips?
🌺 Then Kanha ji said very innocently :- That fly was sitting on my lips, so to make it fly, butter was applied on the lips and when the lock of my hair came on the cheeks, then butter was applied there too.
Gopi said, see Kanha! Don’t mislead me with words. Show this innocence to someone else. Today I have caught you red handed stealing. Today I will tie you up and tell Yashoda Maiya.
🌺 Now Gopi has tied Lala with a rope to a pillar in the house. Kanhaiya’s body is very soft.
When Gopi tied the string tightly, tears welled up in Lala’s eyes. Gopi felt pity. He asked Lala – Lala, do you have any problem?
Lala made a face and shook his neck and said very innocently – I am feeling a lot of pain. At least loosen the string.🌺
🌺 Then Gopi thought that Lala’s body is very soft, so it is not right to tie Lala tightly with a rope. My Lala will be sad, so Gopi loosened the rope a little.
But then she went to inform the friends of the neighborhood that I have tied up Lala.
🌹 Vaishnavs! There is a Sikh for all of us here. You tie Lala in love, but do not expose him in front of anyone.🌹
🌹 You do a lot of devotion but don’t publish it. If devotion is revealed then God will leave.
Devotion does not increase when there is light of devotion, there is no joy in devotion.🌹
🌺 Gopi had just turned a little to go out that then Balakrishna came out of the string in a subtle body and showing thumb to Gopi said that hey Gopi you don’t know how to tie.
🌺 Gopi is surprised to see Kanha ji released, then Gopi says – then tell me, how should I tie it?
Gopi had to play games with Lala. Then Lala ties Gopi… and ties him as if this bond will never leave.
Those yogis who touch Shri Krishna with their heart, then samadhi takes place.
Here Gopi has directly touched Shri Krishna. With emotion Gopi goes into Prem Samadhi.🌺
🌺 Gopi celebrates a lot to open the bond, then Gopi started crying.
Seeing Gopi crying, Kanha ji also started crying.
Gopi said that if I am tied then why do you cry Lala?
Kanha ji said that Gopi, I only know how to tie (love-bond), I do not know how to leave.
That’s why I am also crying with you.🌺
🌺 Now Gopi gets engrossed in seeing Lala’s face. And Gopi gets the knowledge of Brahman.
After a few moments, Gopi comes out of Prem Samadhi and seeing her tied condition, Gopi says – Lala, now I have come to tie you too. Now leave my rope! leave me
Then Kanhaji shows his thumb and sits beside Gopi teasingly with his mouth.🌺
🌹 We creatures (humans) are such creatures, which know how to leave. No matter how deep the relationship is, but when selfishness is proved, they leave it in a moment.
🌹 But God doesn’t leave after tying once, God doesn’t know how to leave….!! Only know how to tie in the bond of love
