(गोकुलवासी चले, वृन्दावन की ओर)
श्रीराधारानी का संकल्प कैसे व्यर्थ जाता हे वज्रनाभ वृन्दावन की कुञ्जों में भ्रमण करते हुये श्रीराधा यहीं विचार करतीं “कृष्ण वृन्दावन आजाते ” कृष्ण को अब वृन्दावन आना ही चाहिये।
आज ये मनोरथ श्रीराधारानी का पूर्ण हो रहा था।
महर्षि शाण्डिल्य आज “श्रीराधाचरित्र” को गति दे रहे थे।
बाबा आप कहाँ जा रहे हो? प्रातः ही तैयार होकर शकट में बैठकर जा रहे थे बृषभान जी तब उनकी लाड़ली ने पूछा था।
मेरी लाली बृजपति नन्द ने बुलाया है , गोकुल में सुना है बहुत उपद्रव मचा रखा है कंस ने… वहाँ पर बेचारे सब गोकुल वासी दुःखी हैं। वहाँ अब उनका रहना दूभर हो रहा है। अगर होगा तो मैं आज सन्ध्या तक आ जाऊँगा और सुनो राधा आज तुम कहीं जाना मत ठीक है? माथे को चूम लिया बृषभान जी ने अपनी पुत्री के और चल दिए।
“बाबा जल्दी आना” जोर से बोलीं थीं श्रीराधारानी।
उस दिन गोकुल में सभा लगी थी नव नन्द वहाँ उपस्थित थे अन्य गोकुल के प्रबुद्ध वर्ग भी थे बृजपति नन्द ने मुझे पहले ही बुलवाया था तो मैं पुरोहित के रूप में वहाँ उपस्थित था।
पूतना, फिर शकटासुर, तृणावर्त कागासुर और इतना ही नही कल तो हम लोग डर ही गए “अर्जुन वृक्ष” जड़ सहित उखड़ गए थे। हमारी बेटी बहुएँ नित्य पूजन करती थीं उस वृक्ष का वर्षो पुराना वृक्ष था वो तभी दूसरा ग्वाला बोल उठा अजी हमारे गोकुल का देवता था वो और न आँधी आयी न तूफ़ान आया … जड़ सहित उखड़ गए दो दो एक साथ खड़े अर्जुन के वृक्ष। अजी छोड़ो छोटे से कन्हैया को बांध दोगे और उसने उखाड़ दिया कोई विश्वास भी करेगा?
पर मुझे तो लगता है कि गोकुल का अधिदेवता ही इस गोकुल को छोड़ कर चला गया है हाँ वो वृक्ष देवता ही था इस गाँव का।
गुरुदेव आप कुछ बोलते क्यों नही हैं?
बृजपति नन्द ने मुझ से कहा।
मैं कुछ सोच रहा था हे वज्रनाभ मैं तो उन आल्हादिनी शक्ति की मनोरथ को जान रहा था।अब प्रेम लीला वृन्दावन में ही होने वाली थी आल्हादिनी अपनी ओर खींचने की तैयारी में थीं।
“हमें ये गोकुल छोड़ देना चाहिये“
मुझे गोलमोल बातों को घुमाने की आदत नही है मैने स्पष्टतः कह दिया।
“पर हम लोग जायेंगें कहाँ”
सब गोकुल वासियों ने साश्चर्य मेरी ओर ही देखा।
गुरुदेव इस गोकुल को हम छोड़ देंगे आतंक के साये में हम अपनी सन्तति नहीं रख सकते हम आपकी बात मानते हैं, पर गुरुदेव गोकुल गाँव को छोड़कर हम जाएँ कहाँ?
हे वज्रनाभ मैंने शान्त भाव से सभी गोकुल वासियों के सामने ये नाम लिया वृन्दावन… आपलोगो ने नाम सुना होगा इस वन का बहुत सुन्दर वन है प्रकृति ने मानों अपने आपको न्यौछावर ही कर दिया है इस वन में।
वृन्दावन?
सब गोकुलवासी एक दूसरे का मुँह देखने लगे।
ये वन तो बरसाने के पास में पड़ता है ना ?
बृजपति नन्द ने मुझ से पूछा था।
हाँ और आपके मित्र बृषभान की देख रेख में ही है।याद रहे बृजपति, सूर्यवंशी हैं बृषभान इसलिये उनसे ज्यादा उलझने की कंस भी नही सोच सकता आप ज्यादा न सोचें संकट की इस घड़ी में आप अपने मित्र बृषभान को ही यहाँ बुलवा लें।
मैने सारी बातें वहाँ समझा दी थीं हे वज्रनाभ उस दिन की सभा वहीं रोक दी गयी और एक दूत भेज दिया गया बरसाने बृषभान जी को गोकुल आने का सन्देश देने के लिये।
आइये आइये बृषभान जी
अपने हृदय से लगाया बृजपति ने , बृषभान को।
गोकुल के सभी लोग दूसरे दिन की सभा में उपस्थित थे।
बरसाने के अधिपति आज पधारें हैं।ये हमारे मित्र हैं घनिष्ट मित्र इनसे क्या छुपाना?
बृजपति ने सबके सामने, अपने मित्र बृषभान को अपने गोकुल की समस्या बताई।
कंस का अत्याचार बढ़ता ही जा रहा है इस गोकुल में।
हमारे बालक हैं, उन्हें कभी कुछ हो गया तो?
अभी तक तो नारायण भगवान की कृपा से हम सब बचते रहे पर अब बड़ा मुश्किल है बृजपति नन्द ने अपनी बात रखी।
तो बृजपति नन्द जी…. आप लोग इस गोकुल गाँव को छोड़ क्यों नहीं देते?
बृषभान जी ने सबके सामने कहा।
पर कहाँ जाएँ हम ? बृजपति ने प्रश्न किया।
क्यों क्या आप हमें अपना मित्र नही मानते? हमारा बरसाना आप सबके लिए खुला है।आप आइये, आप गोकुल वासी और हम बरसाना वासी मिलकर साथ साथ आनन्द से रहेंगे।
उदारमना बृषभान जी की बातें सुनकर बृजपति नन्द ने प्रसन्नता व्यक्त की… आपका हम सब के प्रति अपार प्रेम है पर हमारी भी बात आप सुन लें नन्द ने बृषभान से कहा।
देखिये बृषभान जी आप मित्र हैं बृजपति के और अभिन्न मित्र इस बात का गौरव है हम गोकुल वासियों के मन में… पर हम लोग चाहते हैं कि हम वृन्दावन में रहें और वृन्दावन आपके क्षेत्र में आता है इसलिये ही आपको यहाँ आमन्त्रित किया था हमने।
हे वज्रनाभ मैंने बृषभान जी से ये बातें कहीं।
पर आप लोग वन में क्यों रहेंगें?
कितने उदार मन के हैं बृषभान… उन्हें अच्छा नहीं लग रहा कि बरसाने में इतने बड़े महल के होते और रातो ही रात में सुन्दर सुन्दर मकान भी बन जायेंगे ये कहना है बृषभान जी का।
नहीं आप हमें वृन्दावन में रहने की आज्ञा दें हमारे लिये यही बहुत है। हम लोग हैं ही वन में रहने के आदी फिर धीरे धीरे बना लेंगें आवास शकट ( बैल गाड़ी) है ना सबके पास उसी को सजा कर रह लेंगें… बृजपति ने बृषभान से कहा बृषभान जी को अच्छा नहीं लग रहा कि वृन्दावन के पास है बरसाना, फिर भी ऐसे रहेंगें गोकुल वासी।
आप चिन्ता न करें बस हमें आज्ञा दें बृजपति.. ने हाथ जोड़ लिये बृषभान जी के।
अरे ये आप क्या कर रहे हैं ऐसे न करें… हृदय से लगा लिया बृजपति नन्द को बृषभान ने।
सब प्रसन्न हो गए है “गोकुल से चलो वृन्दावन की ओर” सबके सामने घोषणा हुयी बृजपति के द्वारा।
युवकों में उत्साह होता ही है नये के प्रति..
जाना था बरसाने बृषभान जी को पर एक दिन और रुकना पड़ा।
क्योंकि अब साथ में ही चलेंगे वृन्दावन वहाँ सबको व्यवस्थित करके फिर बृषभान जी जायेंगें बरसाने।
हजारों शकट सजाई गयीं हजारों नौकाएँ भी सजाई गयीं जो यमुना जी से होकर जाएंगे।उनके लिये नौका भी तैयार हो गए।
साथ में गौओं को भी तो ले जाना था ना।
मैया हम कहाँ जा रहे हैं ? कृष्ण पूछते हैं बार बार।
यशोदा के साथ कृष्ण हैं रोहिणी के साथ बलराम हैं।
हम लोग अब वृन्दावन रहेंगें वहीं जा रहे हैं।
बालकों को का क्या उन्हें तो आनन्द ही आरहा है।
पर ये क्या ?
मथुरा से होकर गुजरे ये गोकुल वासी बृषभान जी ने कहा “यहाँ से सब शीघ्र चलें कहीं कंस के सैनिक न आजायें”
भयभीत से ग्वाले चले जा रहे हैं पर कंस के राक्षसों से बच पाना इतना सरल तो नहीं था।
कंस का मामा उसने देख लिया वो चिल्लाया “गोकुल वासी गोकुल छोड़ रहे हैं और भाग रहे हैं पकड़ो इन्हें मार दो यमुना में फेंक दो”
कंस के सैनिक दौड़ पड़े नौका के पास कुछ कुछ शकट के पास उनके हाथों में नंगी तलवारें थीं… मारों काटो चिल्लाने लगे थे वे सब।
बेचारे गोकुल वासी मैं भी साथ में ही चल रहा था गोकुल छोड़कर वृन्दावन की ओ रहे वज्रनाभ तभी मैंने देखा…
एकाएक हजारों भेड़िये न जानें कहाँ से आगये वो सब टूट पड़े कंस के उन राक्षसों के ऊपर, फाड़ दिया उन्हें खा गए उन सबको।पता नही कहाँ से आये थे ये और चले भी गए।
हे नारायण आपने बचा लिया… बृजपति नन्द ने राहत की साँस ली। बृजरानी यशोदा ने तो कन्हैया को छुपा लिया था अपनें आँचल में “मैया गए वो लोग ” छुपा हुआ कृष्ण बोल उठा।
हाँ गए पर अभी तू छुपा रह कहीं फिर आगये तो बृजरानी डर रही हैं।
अब डरने की जरूरत नहीं है ये हमारा क्षेत्र है हम आगये बरसाने के पासऔर वो रहा वृन्दावन बृषभान जी ने सबको बताया।
सब गोकुल वासी उछल पड़े आनन्द से झूम उठे
वो देखो मैया वो देखो मोर नाच रहा है कृष्ण खुश हो गए फिर बोले उसके साथ वो कौन है?
“लाला वो मोरनी है“
बृजरानी ने अपनें लाल के कपोलों को चूमते हुये कहा।
ये मोरनी कौन होती है? सोच में पड़ गए कृष्ण।
मोरनी होती है मोर की पत्नी हँसते हुए मैया ने उत्तर दिया।
फिर मेरी पत्नी कहाँ है?
अब इसका क्या जबाब दें यशोदा।
मैया बाबा क्यों नही आये दो दिन हो गए हैं?
श्रीराधा ने अपनी माँ कीर्तिरानी से पूछा।
गोकुल वासियों को वृन्दावन ले आये हैं तुम्हारे बाबा राधा अब तुम वृन्दावन जाओगी तो मैं निश्चिन्त हो जाऊँगी क्योंकि सब अपने हैं वहाँ
और कौन कौन आया है गोकुल से?
श्रीराधा रानी का मन झूम उठा था ये सुनते ही।
सब आरहे हैं अरे हाँ राधा तुम अब कृष्ण से खेलना तुम दोनों बहुत अच्छे लगोगे मुस्कुराई कीर्तिरानी।
पर ये क्या श्रीराधा शरमा गयीं कुछ नही बोलीं और वहाँ से चलीं भी गयीं।
पर बच के रहना वो चोर है ललिता सखी ने जोर से कहा।
मत खेलना उसके साथ कहीं तुम्हारे हार मुँदरी ये सब चुरा लिया तो…
हट्ट मुस्कुराती हुयी अपने कक्ष की ओर भागीं श्रीराधा।
देखती रही थीं उस रात चन्द्रमा को श्रीराधा रानी।
कल मैं जाऊँगी वृन्दावन तो मुझे कृष्ण मिलेगें सोचती रहीं।

Baba where are you going? After getting ready in the morning, Brishbhan ji was leaving in the kitchen when his beloved asked him. My dear Brijapati Nand has called, I have heard that Kansa has created a lot of trouble in Gokul… all the poor Gokul residents are sad there. Now it is becoming difficult for them to stay there. If it happens, I will come by this evening and listen Radha, don’t go anywhere today, okay? Brishbhan ji kissed her forehead and walked towards his daughter. “Baba, come quickly”, Shri Radharani had said loudly.
That day a meeting was held in Gokul, Nav Nand was present there and other enlightened sections of Gokul were also present. Brijpati Nand had already called me, so I was present there as a priest.
Putna, then Shaktasur, Trinavarta Kagasur and not only this, yesterday we were scared, the “Arjuna tree” was uprooted along with its roots. Our daughter and daughters-in-law used to worship that tree daily. It was a years-old tree. Then the second cowherd said, ‘Aji, he was the god of our Gokul. And neither a storm nor a storm came… Two Arjun trees standing together were uprooted along with their roots. Forget it, you will tie down little Kanhaiya and he will uproot him, will anyone even believe? But I feel that the presiding deity of Gokul has left this Gokul and yes, he was the tree deity of this village.
Gurudev, why don’t you say anything? Brijapati Nand told me. I was thinking something, O Vajranabh, I was knowing the desire of that Alhadini Shakti. Now the love leela was going to happen in Vrindavan itself, Alhadini was preparing to pull me towards herself.

Vrindavan? All the Gokul residents started looking at each other. This forest is near Barsana, isn’t it? Brijapati Nand had asked me. Yes and he is under the care of your friend Brishbhan. I had explained all the things there, O Vajranabh, that day’s meeting was stopped there and a messenger was sent to give the message to Barsana Brishabhan ji to come to Gokul.
Come come Brishbhan ji Brijpati embraced Brishabhan in his heart. All the people of Gokul were present in the meeting on the second day. The ruler of Barsana has arrived today. These are our friends, close friends. What is there to hide from them? Brijapati, in front of everyone, told the problems of his Gokul to his friend Brishabhan. Kansa’s atrocities are increasing in this Gokul. These are our children, what if something ever happens to them? Till now we all were saved by the grace of Lord Narayana, but now it is very difficult. Brijapati Nand expressed his views.
So Brijpati Nand ji…. Why don’t you people leave this Gokul village? Brishbhan ji said in front of everyone. But where should we go? Brijpati asked a question. Why don’t you consider us your friends? Our Barsana is open for all of you. Come, you Gokul residents and we Barsana residents will live together happily.
Brijapati Nand expressed happiness after listening to the words of generous Brishabhan ji… You have immense love for all of us but you should listen to us too, Nand said to Brishabhan. See, Brishabhan ji, you are a friend of Brijpati and an integral friend of this. We Gokul residents are proud of this… but we want to live in Vrindavan and Vrindavan comes in your area, that is why we invited you here. O Vajranabh, I told these things to Brishbhan ji.
But why would you people live in the forest? Brishbhan is so generous minded… He does not like that such a big palace would be built in Barsana and beautiful houses would also be built overnight, this is what Brishbhan ji says. No, you allow us to live in Vrindavan, that is enough for us. We are already accustomed to living in the forest, then we will slowly build a house. Everyone has a Shakat (bull cart). We will decorate the same one and live there… Brijpati said to Brishbhan that Brishbhan ji is not liking that Vrindavan has Barsana, Still the people of Gokul will remain like this.
Don’t worry, just give us permission, Brijpati.. folded hands of Brishbhan ji. Hey, what are you doing, don’t do like this… Brishabhan hugged Brijpati Nand to his heart.
Everyone is happy, “Let’s go from Gokul to Vrindavan” was announced in front of everyone by Brijpati. There is enthusiasm among the youth for the new.
Brishbhan ji had to go to Barsana but had to stay for one more day. Because now we will go together to Vrindavan, after arranging everyone there, we will then go to Brishabhanji Barsana.
Thousands of shawls were decorated and thousands of boats were also decorated which would go through Yamuna. Boats were also prepared for them. We had to take the cows along with us too.
Mother, where are we going? Krishna asks again and again. Krishna is with Yashoda and Balram is with Rohini. Now we will stay in Vrindavan and are going there. What about the children, they are just enjoying. But what is this ?
Gokul resident Brishbhan ji, who was passing through Mathura, said, “Everyone should leave from here quickly, lest Kansa’s soldiers come.” The cowherds are running away in fear but it was not so easy to escape from the demons of Kansa.
Kansa’s uncle saw this and shouted, “The people of Gokul are leaving Gokul and running away. Catch them, kill them and throw them in the Yamuna.” Kansa’s soldiers ran near the boat, some near Shakta, they had naked swords in their hands… they all started shouting kill and cut. Poor resident of Gokul, I was also walking along with me. After leaving Gokul, I saw the thunderbolts of Vrindavan… Suddenly thousands of wolves, who did not know where they came from, pounced on those demons of Kansa, tore them apart and ate them all. I don’t know where they came from and also went away.
Hey Narayan, you have saved me… Brijpati Nand heaved a sigh of relief. Brijrani Yashoda had hidden Kanhaiya in her lap, “Mother, those people are gone,” said the hidden Krishna. Yes, but you stay hidden for now, Brijrani is scared if he comes again.
Now there is no need to be afraid, this is our area, we came near Barsana and that was Vrindavan, Brishbhan ji told everyone. All the people of Gokul jumped with joy.
Look there mother, look there the peacock is dancing. Krishna became happy and then said, who is that person with him? “Lala, that is a peacock.” Brijrani said while kissing her son’s cheeks.
Who is this peacock? Krishna got lost in thought. A peahen is a peacock’s wife, replied the mother laughing.
Then where is my wife? Now what answer should Yashoda give to this?
Mother, why hasn’t Baba come, it’s been two days? Shriradha asked her mother Kirtirani.
Your Baba Radha has brought the people of Gokul to Vrindavan. Now if you go to Vrindavan, I will be relaxed because everyone is my own there.
Who else has come from Gokul? Shriradha Rani’s heart was filled with excitement as soon as she heard this.
Everyone is coming, yes Radha, now you play with Krishna, you both will like it very much, Kirtirani smiled. But Shriradha felt shy, did not say anything and went away from there.
But stay safe, he is a thief, Lalita Sakhi said loudly. Don’t play with him, he might steal all your necklaces and earrings… Smiling brightly, Shriradha ran towards her room.
