गीत का गान हो तुम, खिले हुए फुल हो तुम।
प्रत्येक मनुष्य एक गीत लेकर पैदा होता है और बहुत थोड़े-से सौभाग्यशाली लोग हैं जो उस गीत को गाकर विदा होते हैं। अधिक गीत अनगाए ही मर जाते हैं। यही जीवन की पीड़ा है, यही विषाद है। यही जीवन की चिंता और संताप है।
जब तक तुम्हारा गीत गाया नहीं गया है, तब तक तुम हो या नहीं, बराबर है। जब तक तुम्हारा बीज नहीं टूटा, तब तक तुम्हारा होना एक आभास मात्र है, एक छाया-भर, एक परछाईं!
मूल बनो! अपने को प्रकट होने दो। खोजो अपने भीतर, कहां तुम्हारा खजाना दबा है? तलाशो, टटोलो! तुम भी हीरा लेकर आए हो। परमात्मा ने किसी को भी बिना पाथेय के भेजा नहीं है; पूरी यात्रा का सारा प्रबंध करके भेजा है। वह सब दिया है जो तुम्हें जरूरी पड़ेगा। वह सब दिया है जो तुम चाहते हो। और इतना दिया है जितना तुम कभी चाह नहीं सकते हो।
जब जीवन की संपदा मिलती है तो आश्चर्यचकित होकर यह पता चलता है कि हम तो कौड़ियां मांगते थे और उसने हीरों के ढेर दे रखे हैं। हम तो कुछ छुद्र की मांग किए बैठे थे, उसने विराट दे रखा है। हम तो पदार्थ मांगते थे, परमात्मा स्वयं हमारे भीतर मौजूद है। सम्राटों का सम्राट् तुम अपने भीतर लिए बैठे हो; पर सोया पड़ा है, तुमने जगाया नहीं, तुमने पुकारा नहीं।
धर्म और कुछ भी नहीं है- अपने भीतर सोए पड़े गीत को जगाने की प्रक्रिया है। तुम्हारे मन में, तुम्हारी समाधि है। तुम जो-जो बाहर तलाश रहे हो, तलाशो लाख, पाओगे नहीं। क्योंकि जिसे तुम बाहर तलाश रहे हो वह तलाश करनेवाले में ही छिपा है। गंतव्य बाहर नहीं है, गंता का अंतर्तम है। लौटाओ आंखें भीतर; मुड़ो अपनी ओर ! ।। श्री परमात्मने नमः ।।
