आज का युग भौतिक पदार्थों में खुशी ढुंढता है। वह बाहर की खुशी के साथ जीवन जीते हैं उनकी कल्पना भौतिक चीज पर आधारित होती है।उनकी कल्पना में आन्तरिक आनंद का सामंजस्य नहीं है। इच्छाए पुरण न होने पर वे मात पिता भाई बहन पत्नी से झगड़ते है गुस्सा होते हैं कुछ समय नोर्मल होंगे फिर वही बात। आज हमे इच्छा करने भर की देर है हमें चीज मिल जाती है हम आदि हो गए हैं भौतिक सुख सुविधाओं के प्रत्येक कार्य हमें तैयार मिलना चाहिए। क्योंकि पैसे से सुख के खरीद दार बन गए हैं। क्या हमने अपने मन में कभी विचार किया कि क्या हम बहुत सुख के साधनों में भी शान्ति आन्नद और प्रेम को भुल बैठे है। आप अपने अन्तर्मन के बन कर नहीं रह रहे।सांस की किरया के बैगर कोई भी अपने अन्तर्मन में झांक नहीं सकता है। आज बच्चे जवानों ने अपने घर में कार्य करने की प्रक्रिया को ठुकरा दिया है वे सोचते हैं पैसे से सबकुछ साधन सम्भव है। पैसे से क्या हम आन्तरिक खुशी की ओर बढ रहे हैं। नहीं क्योंकि हम समझ नहीं पाते हैं हमे क्या चाहिए हम प्रसन्नचित्त क्यो नही है दिल बैचन क्यो है। हम क्या ढुढ रहे हैं। भौतिक साधन पल भर की खुशी देते हैं भौतिक साधन मे शांति तृप्ती होती तब कोई अध्यात्म की और नहीं जाता। आपके सपने भी आपके अपने नहीं है सपनो में बनावटीपन आपको कंही का नहीं छोड़ ता है। आपने अपने आप से बात किए हुए वर्षों बीत जाते हैं आप बाहर की भीड़ के शिकार हो गए हैं। आप समझ नहीं पाते मेरी आन्तरिक इच्छा क्या है मेरे पास सबकुछ होते हुए भी मन भरा हुआ क्यों नहीं है। अपने आप को पढ कर देखो। मै क्या चाहता हूं मेरी खुशी का स्त्रोत क्या है। मै सोया हुआ हूँ। या जग रहा हूं।
कार्य का होना कार्य की कुशलता कार्य करते हुए भी कार्य मे न रमना फिर भी कार्य को बहुत अधिक सुचारू रूप से करना यह अलग अलग तथ्य है।इन सब आन्तरिक गहराई में युवा वर्ग जानना नहीं चाहता है। नैतिक मूल्य खत्म हो गए हैं। क्योंकि घर कामवाली के हाथ में है। हमारे अन्तर्मन के भाव और प्रेम कंहा हैं जंहा व्यक्ति खुद भुखा रहकर अपने माता-पिता को पहले भोजन कराते थे। आज हमारे पास सबकुछ है आवश्यकता से अधिक है। मन छोटे है पहले व्यक्ति के मन बङे होते थे। एक दूसरे का कार्य करने के लिए व्यक्ति तैयार रहता था। आज तो अपना ही कार्य काम करने वाली करके जाती है।हमारे अन्दर मन की तृप्ति झलकती थी। घरों में अपनापन और अनुशासन नहीं रहा। हम स्वयं ही कुछ नही करना चाहते हैं तब बच्चों में संस्कार कहा से जन्म लेगे। हमे आने वाले समय में पता चलता है। सुख की अधिकता जीवन मुल्य का पतन है। नैतिक मूल्य जीवन को स्थाई सुख की ओर ले जाता है। हम एक गलती को ढकने के लिए दुसरी तीसरी करते हैं। हमारे अन्दर पाश्चात्य सभ्यता ने स्थान ले रखा है। भारतीय संस्कृति प्रेम समर्पित भाव पर टिकी हुई थी। माता पिता की सेवा हमारा धर्म था।
हमारे दिल में परिवार बसता था हम अपना छोड़कर अपने भाई बहन के लिए जीते थे मात पिता की सेवा हमारे जीवन का सुख था। आज सेवा भाव खत्म हो गए हैं। क्योंकि मेहनत को त्याग दिया है। सुविधाओं मे भी हम खुश नहीं है एक हमारा समय था बङा परिवार घर में सिमित साधन फिर भी हर चेहरे पर मुस्कान थी। हम हंसना भुल गए हैं क्यों क्योंकि हम घर में कार्य मे मेहनत करते थे उसमें भी योग है। व्यक्ति जितना योग के नजदीक है वह अपने अन्तर्मन के पास है। कर्म करने के आनंद से बढ कर कोई सुख नहीं है कर्म हम अन्य के लिए नहीं हमे हमारे जीवन के सन्तुलन के लिए आवश्यक है। हम कर्म ही नहीं करते हैं कर्म के साथ जीवन मुल्य का सिद्धांत भी दृढ होता है आप कहेंगे कैसे हम अन्य व्यक्ति के साथ जितने कर्म करते हुए जुड़ते है उतने किसी अन्य साधन से नहीं जुड़ पाते हैं। हममे कभी भी अकेलापन नहीं झलकेगा यदि आप परिवार को संगठित चलाएंगे।
आज हमारी नजर में डर रहा ही नहीं डर की जगह उदण्डता आ गई है। हर व्यक्ति अपने आप को विशेष समझता है। अनुशासन खत्म हो गए हैं। हम अपने भी नहीं रहे दिल जितने बड़े होगा उतने ही हम अपने बनेंगे। दिल का छोटापन मन को इधर-उधर दोङ लगवाता है। मन खुश नहीं हो पाता है विचार विमर्श चलता रहता है।
