एक बार रघुनाथ जी ने सभा बुलाई

एक बार रामजी ने समस्त अयोध्यावासियों की एक सभा बुलाई,और कहा, हे समस्त नगर निवासियों! मेरी बात ध्यान से सुनिये।यह बात मैं हृदय में कुछ ममता लाकर नहीं कहता हूँ। न अनीति की बात कहता हूँ और न इसमें कुछ प्रभुता ही है, इसलिए संकोच और भय छोड़कर, ध्यान देकर मेरी बातों को सुन लो और (फिर) यदि तुम्हें अच्छी लगे, तो उसके अनुसार करो!॥

एक बार रघुनाथ बोलाए। गुर द्विज पुरबासी सब आए॥
बैठे गुर मुनि अरु द्विज सज्जन। बोले बचन भगत भव भंजन॥,

भावार्थ:-एक बार श्री रघुनाथजी के बुलाए हुए गुरु वशिष्ठजी, ब्राह्मण और अन्य सब नगर निवासी सभा में आए। जब गुरु, मुनि, ब्राह्मण तथा अन्य सब सज्जन यथायोग्य बैठ गए, तब भक्तों के जन्म-मरण को मिटाने वाले श्री रामजी ने वचन बोले-॥

सुनहु सकल पुरजन मम बानी।
कहउँ न कछु ममता उर आनी॥
नहिं अनीति नहिं कछु प्रभुताई।
सुनहु करहु जो तुम्हहि सोहाई॥

भावार्थ:-हे समस्त नगर निवासियों! मेरी बात सुनिए। यह बात मैं हृदय में कुछ ममता लाकर नहीं कहता हूँ। न अनीति की बात कहता हूँ और न इसमें कुछ प्रभुता ही है, इसलिए (संकोच और भय छोड़कर, ध्यान देकर) मेरी बातों को सुन लो और (फिर) यदि तुम्हें अच्छी लगे, तो उसके अनुसार करो!॥

सोइ सेवक प्रियतम मम सोई।
मम अनुसासन मानै जोई॥
जौं अनीति कछु भाषौं भाई।
तौ मोहि बरजहु भय बिसराई॥

भावार्थ:-वही मेरा सेवक है और वही प्रियतम है, जो मेरी आज्ञा माने। हे भाई! यदि मैं कुछ अनीति की बात कहूँ तो भय भुलाकर (बेखटके) मुझे रोक देना॥

बड़ें भाग मानुष तनु पावा।
सुर दुर्लभ सब ग्रंथन्हि गावा॥
साधन धाम मोच्छ कर द्वारा।
पाइ न जेहिं परलोक सँवारा॥

भावार्थ:-बड़े भाग्य से यह मनुष्य शरीर मिला है। सब ग्रंथों ने यही कहा है कि यह शरीर देवताओं को भी दुर्लभ है (कठिनता से मिलता है)। यह साधन का धाम और मोक्ष का दरवाजा है। इसे पाकर भी जिसने परलोक न बना लिया,॥🚩

सो परत्र दुख पावइ सिर धुनि धुनि पछिताई।
सो परत्र दुख पावइ सिर धुनि धुनि पछिताई॥🚩

भावार्थ:-वह परलोक में दुःख पाता है, सिर पीट-पीटकर पछताता है तथा (अपना दोष न समझकर) काल पर, कर्म पर और ईश्वर पर मिथ्या दोष लगाता है॥🚩

एहि तन कर फल बिषय न भाई।
स्वर्गउ स्वल्प अंत दुखदाई॥
नर तनु पाइ बिषयँ मन देहीं।
पलटि सुधा ते सठ बिष लेहीं॥🚩

भावार्थ:-हे भाई! इस शरीर के प्राप्त होने का फल विषयभोग नहीं है (इस जगत्‌ के भोगों की तो बात ही क्या) स्वर्ग का भोग भी बहुत थोड़ा है और अंत में दुःख देने वाला है। अतः जो लोग मनुष्य शरीर पाकर विषयों में मन लगा देते हैं, वे मूर्ख अमृत को बदलकर विष ले लेते हैं॥🚩

ताहि कबहुँ भल कहइ न कोई।
गुंजा ग्रहइ परस मनि खोई॥
आकर चारि लच्छ चौरासी।
जोनि भ्रमत यह जिव अबिनासी॥🚩

भावार्थ:-जो पारसमणि को खोकर बदले में घुँघची ले लेता है, उसको कभी कोई भला (बुद्धिमान) नहीं कहता। यह अविनाशी जीव (अण्डज, स्वेदज, जरायुज और उद्भिज्ज) चार खानों और चौरासी लाख योनियों में चक्कर लगाता रहता है॥🚩

फिरत सदा माया कर प्रेरा। काल कर्म सुभाव गुन घेरा॥
कबहुँक करि करुना नर देही। देत ईस बिनु हेतु सनेही॥🚩

भावार्थ:-माया की प्रेरणा से काल, कर्म, स्वभाव और गुण से घिरा हुआ (इनके वश में हुआ) यह सदा भटकता रहता है। बिना ही कारण स्नेह करने वाले ईश्वर कभी विरले ही दया करके इसे मनुष्य का शरीर देते हैं॥🚩

नर तनु भव बारिधि कहुँ बेरो।
सन्मुख मरुत अनुग्रह मेरो॥
करनधार सदगुर दृढ़ नावा।
दुर्लभ साज सुलभ करि पावा॥🚩

भावार्थ:-यह मनुष्य का शरीर भवसागर (से तारने) के लिए बेड़ा (जहाज) है। मेरी कृपा ही अनुकूल वायु है। सद्गुरु इस मजबूत जहाज के कर्णधार (खेने वाले) हैं। इस प्रकार दुर्लभ (कठिनता से मिलने वाले) साधन सुलभ होकर (भगवत्कृपा से सहज ही) उसे प्राप्त हो गए हैं॥🚩

जो न तरै भव सागर नर समाज अस पाइ।
सो कृत निंदक मंदमति आत्माहन गति जाइ॥🚩

भावार्थ:-जो मनुष्य ऐसे साधन पाकर भी भवसागर से न तरे, वह कृतघ्न और मंद बुद्धि है और आत्महत्या करने वाले की गति को प्राप्त होता है॥

जौं परलोक इहाँ सुख चहहू।
सुनि मम बचन हृदयँ दृढ़ गहहू॥
सुलभ सुखद मारग यह भाई।
भगति मोरि पुरान श्रुति गाई॥🚩

भावार्थ:-यदि परलोक में और यहाँ दोनों जगह सुख चाहते हो, तो मेरे वचन सुनकर उन्हें हृदय में दृढ़ता से पकड़ रखो। हे भाई! यह मेरी भक्ति का मार्ग सुलभ और सुखदायक है, पुराणों और वेदों ने इसे गाया है॥🚩

ग्यान अगम प्रत्यूह अनेका।
साधन कठिन न मन कहुँ टेका॥
करत कष्ट बहु पावइ कोऊ।
भक्ति हीन मोहि प्रिय नहिं सोऊ॥🚩

भावार्थ:-ज्ञान अगम (दुर्गम) है (और) उसकी प्राप्ति में अनेकों विघ्न हैं। उसका साधन कठिन है और उसमें मन के लिए कोई आधार नहीं है। बहुत कष्ट करने पर कोई उसे पा भी लेता है, तो वह भी भक्तिरहित होने से मुझको प्रिय नहीं होता॥🚩

भक्ति सुतंत्र सकल सुख खानी।
बिनु सतसंग न पावहिं प्रानी॥
पुन्य पुंज बिनु मिलहिं न संता।
सतसंगति संसृति कर अंता॥🚩

भावार्थ:-भक्ति स्वतंत्र है और सब सुखों की खान है, परंतु सत्संग (संतों के संग) के बिना प्राणी इसे नहीं पा सकते और पुण्य समूह के बिना संत नहीं मिलते। सत्संगति ही संसृति (जन्म-मरण के चक्र) का अंत करती है॥🚩

पुन्य एक जग महुँ नहिं दूजा।
मन क्रम बचन बिप्र पद पूजा॥
सानुकूल तेहि पर मुनि देवा।
जो तजि कपटु करइ द्विज सेवा॥🚩

भावार्थ:-जगत्‌ में पुण्य एक ही है, (उसके समान) दूसरा नहीं। वह है- मन, कर्म और वचन से ब्राह्मणों के चरणों की पूजा करना। जो कपट का त्याग करके ब्राह्मणों की सेवा करता है, उस पर मुनि और देवता प्रसन्न रहते हैं॥🚩
औरउ एक गुपुत मत सबहि कहउँ कर जोरि।
संकर भजन बिना नर भगति न पावइ मोरि॥

भावार्थ:-और भी एक गुप्त मत है, मैं उसे सबसे हाथ जोड़कर कहता हूँ कि शंकरजी के भजन बिना मनुष्य मेरी भक्ति नहीं पाता॥🚩

कहहु भगति पथ कवन प्रयासा।
जोग न मख जप तप उपवासा।
सरल सुभाव न मन कुटिलाई।
जथा लाभ संतोष सदाई॥🚩

भावार्थ:-कहो तो, भक्ति मार्ग में कौन-सा परिश्रम है? इसमें न योग की आवश्यकता है, न यज्ञ, जप, तप और उपवास की! (यहाँ इतना ही आवश्यक है कि) सरल स्वभाव हो, मन में कुटिलता न हो और जो कुछ मिले उसी में सदा संतोष रखे॥🚩

मोर दास कहाइ नर आसा।
करइ तौ कहहु कहा बिस्वासा॥
बहुत कहउँ का कथा बढ़ाई।
एहि आचरन बस्य मैं भाई॥🚩

भावार्थ:-मेरा दास कहलाकर यदि कोई मनुष्यों की आशा करता है, तो तुम्हीं कहो, उसका क्या विश्वास है? (अर्थात्‌ उसकी मुझ पर आस्था बहुत ही निर्बल है।) बहुत बात बढ़ाकर क्या हूँ? हे भाइयों! मैं तो इसी आचरण के वश में हूँ॥🚩

बैर न बिग्रह आस न त्रासा।
सुखमय ताहि सदा सब आसा॥
अनारंभ अनिकेत अमानी।
अनघ अरोष दच्छ बिग्यानी॥🚩

भावार्थ:-न किसी से वैर करे, न लड़ाई-झगड़ा करे, न आशा रखे, न भय ही करे। उसके लिए सभी दिशाएँ सदा सुखमयी हैं। जो कोई भी आरंभ (फल की इच्छा से कर्म) नहीं करता, जिसका कोई अपना घर नहीं है (जिसकी घर में ममता नहीं है), जो मानहीन, पापहीन और क्रोधहीन है, जो (भक्ति करने में) निपुण और विज्ञानवान्‌ है॥🚩

प्रीति सदा सज्जन संसर्गा।
तृन सम बिषय स्वर्ग अपबर्गा॥
भगति पच्छ हठ नहिं सठताई।
दुष्ट तर्क सब दूरि बहाई॥🚩

भावार्थ:-संतजनों के संसर्ग (सत्संग) से जिसे सदा प्रेम है, जिसके मन में सब विषय यहाँ तक कि स्वर्ग और मुक्ति तक (भक्ति के सामने) तृण के समान हैं, जो भक्ति के पक्ष में हठ करता है, पर (दूसरे के मत का खण्डन करने की) मूर्खता नहीं करता तथा जिसने सब कुतर्कों को दूर बहा दिया है ॥🚩

मम गुन ग्राम नाम रत गत ममता मद मोह।
ता कर सुख सोइ जानइ परानंद संदोह॥🚩

भावार्थ:-जो मेरे गुण समूहों के और मेरे नाम के परायण है, एवं ममता, मद और मोह से रहित है, उसका सुख वही जानता है, जो (परमात्मारूप) परमानन्दराशि को प्राप्त है॥🚩

सुनत सुधा सम बचन राम के ।
गहे सबनि पद कृपाधाम के॥
जननि जनक गुर बंधु हमारे।
कृपा निधान प्रान ते प्यारे॥🚩

भावार्थ:-श्रीरामचन्द्रजी के अमृत के समान वचन सुनकर सबने कृपाधाम के चरण पकड़ लिए (और कहा-) हे कृपानिधान! आप हमारे माता, पिता, गुरु, भाई सब कुछ हैं और प्राणों से भी अधिक प्रिय हैं॥🚩

तनु धनु धाम राम हितकारी।
सब बिधि तुम्ह प्रनतारति हारी॥
असि सिख तुम्ह बिनु देइ न कोऊ।
मातु पिता स्वारथ रत ओऊ॥🚩

भावार्थ:-और हे शरणागत के दुःख हरने वाले रामजी! आप ही हमारे शरीर, धन, घर-द्वार और सभी प्रकार से हित करने वाले हैं। ऐसी शिक्षा आपके अतिरिक्त कोई नहीं दे सकता। माता-पिता (हितैषी हैं और शिक्षा भी देते हैं) परन्तु वे भी स्वार्थपरायण हैं (इसलिए ऐसी परम हितकारी शिक्षा नहीं देते)॥🚩

हेतु रहित जग जुग उपकारी।
तुम्ह तुम्हार सेवक असुरारी॥
स्वारथ मीत सकल जग माहीं।
सपनेहुँ प्रभु परमारथ नाहीं॥🚩

भावार्थ:-हे असुरों के शत्रु! जगत्‌ में बिना हेतु के (निःस्वार्थ) उपकार करने वाले तो दो ही हैं- एक आप, दूसरे आपके सेवक। जगत्‌ में (शेष) सभी स्वार्थ के मित्र हैं। हे प्रभो! उनमें स्वप्न में भी परमार्थ का भाव नहीं है॥🚩

सब के बचन प्रेम रस साने।
सुनि रघुनाथ हृदयँ हरषाने॥
निज निज गृह गए आयसु पाई।
बरनत प्रभु बतकही सुहाई॥🚩

भावार्थ:-सबके प्रेम रस में सने हुए वचन सुनकर श्री रघुनाथजी हृदय में हर्षित हुए। फिर आज्ञा पाकर सब प्रभु की सुन्दर बातचीत का वर्णन करते हुए अपने-अपने घर गए॥🚩

Once Ramji called a meeting of all the people of Ayodhya, and said, O all the city residents! Listen to me carefully. I do not say this by bringing anything in my heart. Meaning: Once the Guru Vasistha, Brahmin and all other residents of the city called Shri Raghunathji came to the meeting. When the Guru, Muni, Brahmin and all other gentlemen sat as per the same, then Shri Ramji, who erased the birth and death of the devotees, uttered the promise-॥

Listen to Sakal Purjan Mam. Where do you say nothing Mamata and anniversary? No Aniti, anything, dominant. Listen to you that you are sacrifice.

Meaning: O all the city residents! Listen to me I do not say this by bringing anything in my heart. I do not speak about Aniti, nor is there any sovereignty in it, so listen to my words (leaving hesit and fear) and (then) If you like it, do it accordingly!

Soi Sevak Dear Mam Soi. Mama, reconnaissance Jauni Aniti Kachu Laboom Bhai. Tau Mohi Barjhu Bhay Bisarai॥

Meaning:-He is my servant and he is the beloved who obeyed my command. Hey brother! If I say something about Aniti, then forget the fear (fearless) and stop me.

Meaning: Bhakti is independent and is a mine of happiness, but without satsang (with saints), creatures cannot find it and do not meet saints without a virtuous group. Satsangati ends ecosy (cycle of birth and death).

Meaning:-Virtue is the same in the world, (similar to that) is not another. That is to worship the feet of Brahmins with mind, deeds and words. The sage and the deity are happy on the one who renounces the fraud and serves the Brahmins. And do not say a secret. Sankar bhajan without male bhagati na pavai mori॥

Meaning:-There is more secret opinion, I fold him the most hands and tell him that without the hymns of Shankarji, human beings do not get my devotion without a hymn.

Kahhu Bhagati Path Kavan Prayas. Jog na makh chanting austerity. Simple ensure neither mind is a crooked. As soon as the benefit is Santosh Sadai

Meaning:-Who is the hard work on the path of devotion? There is no need for yoga, nor sacrificial sacrifice, chanting, penance and fasting! (It is so important here that it should be simple, there should be no crookedness in the mind and always keep satisfaction in what you get.

Meaning:-The one who is the great of my virtues and my name, and is devoid of Mamta, item and fascination, his happiness knows what (divinely) is the ecstasy.

Sunat Sudha Sam Bachan Ram. Ghe sabni verse kripadham Janani Janak Guru Bandhu is ours. Kripa nidhan pran te dear

Meaning: Hearing the words like the nectar of Shriram Chandraji, everyone caught the feet of Kripadham (and said-) O Kripanidhan! You are our mother, father, guru, brother everything and more dear to life.

Meaning:-And O Ramji, who defeats the sorrow of refuge! You are the one who is going to benefit from our body, wealth, home and all ways. No one can give such education except you. Parents (are friendly and give education) but they are also selfishly (hence give such ultimate beneficial education).
