In the gentle journey of devotion, the simplest path is loving remembrance. When a devotee holds God in their heart and lovingly chants His name, a gradual light of divinity starts to shine in life.
Saints from the sacred land of Vrindavan say that to attain Lord Krishna, neither grand opulence nor harsh austerity is needed. If the heart is filled with true love and the mind constantly remembers Him, that devotion is most dear to the Lord.
As the devotee chants “Radhe-Krishna” with love, their mind is freed from worldly worries and becomes absorbed in the Lord’s sweet image. Gradually, the heart becomes pure, filled with compassion, humility, and joy. This loving devotion draws the Lord closer to the devotee.
The Bhagavata Purana also says that the Lord bestows special grace upon those who constantly remember Him. In such hearts, He resides and fills life with grace, peace, and joy.
Thus, one who makes remembrance and loving devotion the foundation of life gradually becomes filled with divinity and experiences the Lord’s infinite grace.
