[भज] निताई-गौर राधेश्याम [जप] हरेकृष्ण हरेराम
*प्रादुर्भाव*
कालान्नष्टं भक्तियोगं निजं यः
प्रादुष्कर्तुं कृष्णचैतन्यनामा।
आविर्भूतस्तस्य पादारविन्दे
गाढं गाढं लीयतां चित्तभृंगः।।
श्रीमद्भागवत तथा गीता में भगवान ने बार-बार श्रीमुख से जोर देकर कहा है कि मेरे पाने का एकमात्र उपाय भक्ति ही है। मैं योग से, ज्ञान से, जप से, तप से, समाधि से तथा यज्ञ-यागादि अन्य वैदिक कर्मों से इतना तुष्ट नहीं होता जितना कि भक्ति से प्रसन्न होता हूँ, केवल अनन्य भक्ति के ही द्वारा मेरा यथार्थ ज्ञान होता है कि मैं कैसा हूँ और मेरा प्रभाव कितना है। जिस भक्ति की इतनी महिमा है, वह भक्ति जिसके हृदय में हो उस भाग्यवान भक्त के महत्त्व का वर्णन भला कौन कर सकता है। वास्तव में भगवान और भक्त नाममात्र के ही लिये दो हैं, भक्त भगवान के साकार विग्रह का ही नाम है। भगवान स्वयं ही कहते हैं- ‘मैं तो भक्तों के अधीन हूँ, कोई मेरा अपराध कर दे तो उसे तो मैं क्षमा कर भी सकता हूँ, किन्तु भक्तद्रोही के अपराध को मैं क्षमा करने में असमर्थ हूँ।’ भगवान भक्तों की महिमा को बतलाते हैं कि मैं भक्तों के पीछे-पीछे सदा इसलिये घूमा करता हूँ कि उनके चरणों की धूलि उड़कर मेरे ऊपर पड़ जाय तो मैं पावन हो जाऊँ। यहीं तक नहीं, भगवान स्वयं भक्तों का भजन करते हैं।
भगवान हस्तिनापुर में ही विराजमान थे। महाराज युधिष्ठिर प्रायः हर समय ही उनके पास रहते थे, उन्हें भगवान् के बिना चैन ही नहीं पड़ता था। एक दिन रात्रि के बारह बजे महाराज भगवान के स्थान पर पहुँचे। उस समय भगवान समाधि में बैठे हुए थे। धर्मराज बहुत देर तक हाथ जोडे़ खड़े रहे। कुछ काल के अनन्तर भगवान की समाधि भंग हुई। सामने धर्मराज को खडे़ देखकर उन्होंने उनका स्वागत किया और असमय में आने का कारण पूछा। धर्मराज ने नम्रतापूर्वक निवेदन किया- ‘भगवन! और बातें तो मैं फिर पूछूँगा, इस समय जो मुझे बड़ा भारी संशय हुआ है, उसका उत्तर पहले दीजिये। आप चराचर जगत के एकमात्र स्वामी हैं, सम्पूर्ण प्राणियों के आप ही भजनीय हैं। ऋषि, महर्षि, देव, दानव, देवता तथा मनुष्य सभी आपका ध्यान करते हैं, इस समय आपको समाधि में बैठा देखकर मुझे महान कुतूहल उत्पन्न हुआ है कि आप किसका ध्यान करते होंगे? धर्मराज के प्रश्न को सुनकर भगवान् हँसे और मन्द-मन्द मुस्कान के साथ बोले- ‘धर्मराज! यह ठीक है कि सम्पूर्ण जगत् का एकमात्र मैं ही भजनीय हूँ, किन्तु मेरे भी भजनीय भक्त हैं, मैं सदा भक्तों का ध्यान किया करता हूँ।’
यह सुनकर धर्मराज ने पूछा- ‘अच्छा इस समय आप किसका ध्यान कर रहे थे?’ भगवान ने गद्गद-कण्ठ से कहा- ‘जिन्होंने सर्वस्व त्याग कर केवल मेरे में ही अपने मन को लगा रखा है, जो एक-दो दिन से नहीं कई महीनों से बाणों की शय्या पर बिना खाये-पिये पड़े हुए हैं, सम्पूर्ण शरीर तीरों से भिदा होने पर भी जो मत्परायण ही बने हुए हैं उन्हीं भक्तराज भीष्म पितामह का मैं इस समय ध्यान कर रहा था।’ भगवान की इस भक्तवत्सलता की बात सुनकर भक्ति की सर्वश्रेष्ठता के सम्बन्ध में किसे संशय रह सकता है? भगवान ही इस जगत के एकमात्र आश्रय हैं, उनकी भक्ति उनकी कृपा के बिना प्राप्त ही नहीं हो सकती।
ज्ञान, कर्म तथा भक्ति के ही एकमात्र प्रवर्तक हैं। जब कर्म की शिथिलता देखते हैं तब आप नरपति-विशेष के रूप में उत्पन्न होकर कर्म का प्रचार करते हैं, जब ज्ञान का लोप देखते हैं तब मुनि-विशेष के रूप में प्रकट होकर ज्ञान का प्रसार करते हैं और जब भक्ति को नष्ट होते देखते हैं तब भक्त-विशेष का रूप धारण करके भक्ति की महिमा बढ़ाते हैं। उन्हें स्वयं कुछ भी कर्तव्य नहीं होता, क्योंकि स्वयं परिपूर्ण स्वरूप हैं। लोककल्याण के निमित्त वे स्वयं आचरण करके लोगों को शिक्षा देते हैं। भगवान के लिये कोई बात ‘सहसा’ या ‘अकस्मात’ नहीं। जिस प्रकार नाटक का एक अभिनय देखने के अनन्तर हम प्रतीक्षा करते रहते हैं, कि देखें अब क्या हो। इतने में ही रंग-मंच पर सहसा दूसरे नये पात्रों को देखकर हम चकित हो जाते हैं, किन्तु नाटक के व्यवस्थापक के लिये इसमें सहसा या अकस्मात कुछ भी नहीं। उसे आदि से अन्त तक सम्पूर्ण नाटक का पता है कि इसके बाद कौन-सा पात्र क्या अभिनय करेगा।
इसी प्रकार इस जगत के रंग-मंच पर भगवान जो नाटक खेला रहे हैं, उसका उन्हें रत्ती-रत्ती भर पता है। उनके लिये भविष्य के गर्भ में कोई बात छिपी नहीं है। भविष्य का परदा तो हम अज्ञानियेां के नेत्रों पर पड़ा हुआ है। हम किसी घटना को देखकर ही उसे नयी और सहसा उत्पन्न हुई बताने लगते हैं, यही हमारी अपूर्णता है। कार्य को देखकर कारण के सम्बन्ध में सोचते हैं, किन्तु दिव्य दृष्टिवाले कारणों को पहले ही समझ जाते हैं, इसलिये उन्हें किसी भी घटना से कोई आश्चर्य नहीं होता। शाके 1407 (सं. 1542 विक्रमी) के फाल्गुन की पूर्णिमा का शुभ दिवस है। सम्पूर्ण भारतवर्ष में प्रसन्नता छायी हुई है। राम-कृष्ण के मानने वाले सभी हिन्दुओं के घरों में अपनी-अपनी शक्ति के अनुसार सुन्दर-सुन्दर पक्वान्न बनाये गये हैं। सबों ने अपने-अपने घरों को लीप-पोतकर स्वच्छ और सुन्दर बनाया है।
बहुत पहिले- सत्ययुग में- आज के दिन भक्तराज प्रह्लाद ने अग्नि में प्रवेश करके भक्ति की विशुद्धता, पवित्रता और निर्मलता दिखायी थी। भगवत-भक्ति के कारण उने पिता की भगिनी होली- जो इन्हें गोद में लेकर अग्नि में बैठी थी स्वयं जल गयी किन्तु इनका बाल भी बाँका नहीं हुआ, इसी कारण भक्तों में अत्यन्त ही आह्लाद उत्पन्न हुआ और तभी से आज तक यह दिन परम पवित्र समझा जाता है। आज के दिन जीवन में नवजीवन का संचार होता है। वर्षभर की सभी बातें भुला दी जाती हैं, सालभर के वैर, द्वेष तथा अशुभ कर्मों को होली की ज्वाला में स्वाहा कर दिया जाता है। आज के दिन शत्रु-मित्र का कुछ भी विचार न करके सबको गले से लगाते हैं। इतने दिनों से होली होती तो थी, किन्तु यथार्थ होली तो आज ही है। तभी तो भक्तों के हृदय में कोई एक अज्ञात आनन्द हिलोरें मार रहा है।
पं. जगन्नाथ मिश्र अपने घर के एक कोने में बैठे हुए हैं। मिश्र जी के पास सांसारिक धन नहीं है, फिर भी ब्राह्मणों का जो धन है, जिसके कारण ब्राह्मणों को तपोधन कहा जाता है, उस धन का अभाव नहीं है। मिश्रजी का घर छोटा-सा है, किन्तु है खूब साफ-सुथरा। सम्पूर्ण स्थान गौ के गोबर से लिपा है, आँगन में तुलसी का सुन्दर बिरवा लगा हुआ है। एक ओर एक गौ बँधी है। ब्राह्मणी ने ताँबे के तथा पीतल के बर्तनों को खूब माँजकर एक ओर रख दिया है। धूप लगने से वे चमक उठते हैं। मिश्र जी भोजन करके पुस्तक को पढ़ने लगे हैं। तीसरे पहर के बाद शची देवी को कुछ प्रसव-वेदना-सी प्रतीत हुई। घर में दूसरी कोई स्त्री थी नहीं। सास तथा देवरानी, जेठानी सभी श्रीहट्ट (सिलहट) में थीं। यहाँ तो शची देवी का पितृगृह था, इसलिये पं. चन्द्रशेखर (आचार्य-रत्न) की पत्नी अपनी छोटी बहिन को इन्होंने बुला लिया।
धीरे-धीरे वेदना बढ़ने लगी और साथ ही भक्तों के अज्ञात आनन्द की वृद्धि होने लगी। भगवान् मरीचिमाली अस्ताचल को प्रस्थान कर गये, किन्तु तो भी पूर्णिमा के चन्द्र उदय नहीं हुए। कारण कि वे चैतन्यचन्द्र के उदय होने की प्रतीक्षा में थे। इसी समय राहु ने सुअवसर पाकर चन्द्रमा को ग्रस लिया। ग्रहण का स्नान करने के निमित्त नवद्वीप के सभी घाटों पर स्त्री-पुरुषों की भारी भीड़ थी। असंख्यों नर-नारी उस पुण्य अवसर पर स्नान करने के निमित्त एकत्रित हुए थे। सभी के कण्ठों से राम, कृष्ण, हरि की मधुर ध्वनि निकल रही थी। जो कभी भी भगवान का नाम नहीं लेते थे, वे भी उस दिन प्रेम में उन्मत्त होकर कृष्ण- कीर्तन कर रहे थे।
हिन्दुओं को चिढ़ाने के व्याज से मुसलमान भी ‘हरि बोल, हरि बोल’ कहकर हिन्दुओं का साथ दे रहे थे। इसी महान आनन्द के समय में नामावतार श्रीगौरांगदेव का प्रादुभाव हुआ। शची देवी की भगिनी ने यह शुभ समाचार मिश्र जी को सुनाया। मिश्र जी की प्रसन्नता का तो कुछ ठिकाना ही न रहा। वे तो पहले से ही अत्यधिक आनन्दित थे, किन्तु अब तो उनके आनन्द की सीमा ही न रही। क्षणभर में बिजली की तरह यह समाचार मुहल्ले भर में फैल गया। स्त्री-पुरुष जिसने भी सुना वही मिश्र जी के घर दौड़ा आया। श्री अद्वैताचार्य की धर्मपत्नी, श्रीवास जी की स्त्री आदि शची देवी की जितनी अन्तरंग सहेलियाँ थीं वे उपहार ले-लेकर बच्चे को देखने के लिये आ गयीं। विश्वरूप के द्वारा समाचार पाकर शची देवी के पिता नीलाम्बर चक्रवर्ती भी आ उपस्थित हुए। वे तो प्रसिद्ध ज्योतिषी ही थे, उसी समय उन्होंने गणना करके लग्न निकाली और जन्म-कुण्डली बनाकर ग्रहों के फल देखने लगे। इतने शुभ ग्रहों को देखकर वे आनन्द में गद्गद हो उठे और मिश्र जी से बोले- यह बालक कोई महान पुरुष होगा। इसके द्वारा असंख्यों जीवों का कल्याण होगा। इसके राजग्रह स्पष्ट बता रहे हैं कि यह असाधारण महापुरुष होगा।
इस प्रकार ग्रहों का फल सुनकर मिश्र जी के आनन्द की और भी अधिक वृद्धि हुई। उस समय उन्हें अपनी निर्धनता पर कुछ खेद हुआ। उनका हृदय कह रहा था कि ‘इस समय यदि मेरे पास कुछ होता तो इसी समय सर्वस्व दान कर डालता’ फिर भी अपनी शक्ति के अनुसार उन्होंने अन्न-वस्त्र का दान अभ्यागत तथा ब्राह्मणों के लिये दिया। इस प्रकार वह रात्रि आनन्द तथा उत्साह में ही व्यतीत हुई। दूसरे दिन धूलेड़ी थी। उस दिन सभी परस्पर में मिलकर धूलि-कीच तथा अबीर-गुलाल और रंग से होली खेलते हैं। बस, उसी दिन कट्टर-से-कट्टर पण्डित भी स्पर्शास्पर्श का भेद नहीं मानते। सभी परस्पर में मिलते हैं। उस दिन भक्तों में महान आनन्द रहा। एक-दूसरे पर उत्साह के साथ रंग-गुलाल तथा दधि-हल्दी डाल रहे थे। मानो आज नन्दोत्सव मनाया जा रहा हो। भक्तों ने अनुभव किया कि आकाश में देवता उनकी प्रसन्नता में अपनी प्रसन्नता मिलाकर जयघोष कर रहे हैं और भक्तों को अभयदान देते हुए आदेश कर रहे हैं कि अब भय की कोई बात नहीं, तुम्हारे दुर्दिन अब चले गये। नवद्वीप में ही नहीं सम्पूर्ण देश में भक्ति-भागीरथी की एक ऐसी मनोरम बाढ़ आवेगी कि जिसके द्वारा सभी जीव पावन बन जायँगे और चारों ओर ‘हरि बोल, हरि बोल’ यही सुमधुर ध्वनि सुनायी पड़ेगी।

In the Shrimad Bhagwat and the Gita, the Lord has repeatedly emphasized to Shrimukh that devotion is the only way to attain Me. I am not so much satisfied by yoga, knowledge, chanting, penance, samadhi and other Vedic rituals as much as I am pleased by devotion, only through exclusive devotion I get the real knowledge of how I am. And what is my influence? Who can describe the importance of a fortunate devotee whose devotion has so much glory, who has that devotion in his heart. In fact, God and the devotee are two in name only, the devotee is the name of the corporeal idol of God. God Himself says- ‘I am under the control of the devotees, if someone commits a crime against me, I can even forgive him, but I am unable to forgive the crime of a traitor.’ God tells the glory of the devotees that I always follow the devotees so that if the dust of their feet flies and falls on me, then I become pure. Not even this, the Lord Himself worships the devotees.
God was sitting in Hastinapur only. Maharaj Yudhishthira used to stay with him almost all the time, he could not feel peace without God. One day at twelve o’clock in the night Maharaj reached the place of God. At that time the Lord was sitting in the tomb. Dharmaraj stood with folded hands for a long time. After some time the samadhi of God was dissolved. Seeing Dharmaraj standing in front, he welcomed him and asked the reason for his untimely arrival. Dharmaraj humbly requested – ‘ God! I will ask more things again, at this time I have a big doubt, first answer it. You are the only Lord of the pasture world, You are the only one to be worshiped by all the creatures. Rishis, Maharishis, Devas, Demons, Deities and humans all meditate on you, at this time seeing you sitting in samadhi, I am very curious as to whom you must be meditating on? Hearing the question of Dharmaraj, God laughed and said with a slow smile – ‘ Dharmaraj! It is true that I am the only one to be worshiped in the whole world, but I also have devotees who are worshiped, I always meditate on the devotees.’
Hearing this, Dharmaraj asked – ‘Well, on whom were you meditating at this time?’ The Lord said in a loud voice – ‘The one who has given up everything and has fixed his mind only on me, which is not for a day or two. I was meditating at this time on Bhishma Pitamah, Bhaktaraj Bhishma Pitamah, who has been lying on the bed of arrows without eating or drinking for months, who has remained self-centered even after his whole body has been hit by arrows.’ Who can doubt the superiority of God is the only shelter of this world, His devotion cannot be achieved without His grace.
He is the only promoter of knowledge, action and devotion. When you see the slackness of Karma, then you appear as Narpati-Vishesh and spread Karma; Then, assuming the form of a special devotee, he increases the glory of devotion. He himself does not have any duty, because he himself is the perfect form. For the sake of public welfare, he himself conducts and teaches people. For God nothing happens ‘suddenly’ or ‘accidentally’. Just like watching an act of a drama, we keep waiting to see what happens now. At the same time, we are surprised to see other new characters suddenly appearing on the stage, but there is nothing sudden or accidental in this for the administrator of the play. He knows the entire play from beginning to end, which character will act after that.
In the same way, he knows every bit of the drama that God is playing on the stage of this world. Nothing is hidden for them in the womb of the future. The veil of the future is lying on the eyes of us ignorant people. When we see an incident, we start calling it new and suddenly born, this is our imperfection. Seeing the action, they think about the reason, but those with divine vision understand the reasons beforehand, so they are not surprised by any incident. It is the auspicious day of the full moon of Phalgun of Shake 1407 (No. 1542 Vikrami). There is happiness all over India. Beautiful dishes have been prepared in the homes of all the Hindus who believe in Ram-Krishna according to their respective abilities. Everyone has made their homes clean and beautiful by leaps and bounds.
Long ago – in Satyayuga – on this day, Bhaktaraj Prahlad showed the purity, purity and cleanliness of devotion by entering the fire. Due to devotion to God, his father’s sister Holi – who was sitting in the fire with him on her lap, herself got burnt but even her hair was not spared, due to which there was a lot of joy among the devotees and since then till today this day is considered holy. goes. On this day new life is communicated in life. All the things of the year are forgotten, the enmity, malice and inauspicious deeds of the year are burnt in the flame of Holi. On this day, without thinking about enemy or friend, they hug everyone. Holi used to happen since so many days, but the real Holi is only today. That’s why some unknown joy is stirring in the hearts of the devotees.
Pt. Jagannath Mishra is sitting in a corner of his house. Mishra ji does not have worldly wealth, yet the wealth of Brahmins, due to which Brahmins are called Tapodhan, does not lack that wealth. Mishraji’s house is small, but it is very clean. The whole place is smeared with cow dung, beautiful basil plant is planted in the courtyard. On one side a cow is tied. The brahmin has cleaned the copper and brass utensils and put them aside. They shine when the sun hits them. Mishra ji has started reading the book after eating. After the third hour, Shachi Devi felt some kind of labor pain. There was no other woman in the house. Mother-in-law and sister-in-law, sister-in-law were all in Srihatt (Sylhet). Here was the ancestral house of Shachi Devi, so he called his younger sister, the wife of Pt. Chandrashekhar (Acharya-Ratna).
Slowly the pain started increasing and at the same time the unknown joy of the devotees started increasing. Lord Marichimali left for Asthachal, but even then the full moon did not rise. Because they were waiting for Chaitanya Chandra to rise. At the same time, Rahu took advantage of the opportunity and swallowed the moon. There was a huge crowd of men and women on all the ghats of Navadvipa to take a bath of the eclipse. Countless men and women had gathered to take a bath on that auspicious occasion. The melodious sound of Ram, Krishna, Hari was coming out from everyone’s throats. Those who never used to take the name of God, they were also doing Krishna-Kirtan that day in a frenzy of love.
With the interest of teasing the Hindus, the Muslims were also supporting the Hindus by saying ‘Hari Bol, Hari Bol’. It was in this time of great joy that the name incarnation Shri Gaurangdev appeared. Shachi Devi’s sister told this good news to Mishra ji. Mishra ji’s happiness knew no bounds. They were already very happy, but now there is no limit to their happiness. In a moment, this news spread like lightning in the entire locality. Whoever heard it, men and women, came running to Mishra ji’s house. Shri Advaitacharya’s wife, Shrivas ji’s wife etc. all the intimate friends of Shachi Devi came to see the child with gifts. Shachi Devi’s father Neelambar Chakraborty also came and attended after getting the news through Vishwaroop. He was a famous astrologer, at the same time he calculated the ascendant and started looking at the results of the planets after making a horoscope. Seeing so many auspicious planets, he became happy and said to Mishra ji – this child will be a great man. Innumerable living beings will be benefited by this. Its Rajagraha is clearly telling that it will be an extraordinary great man.
In this way, Mishra ji’s joy increased even more after hearing the results of the planets. At that time he felt a bit sorry for his poverty. His heart was saying that ‘If I had anything at this time, I would have donated everything at this time’, yet according to his power, he donated food and clothes for the visitors and Brahmins. Thus the night was spent in joy and enthusiasm. The second day was dusty. On that day everyone together plays Holi with dust-mud and abir-gulal and colors. That’s all, on the same day even the staunchest pundits do not recognize the difference between touch and touch. Everyone meets each other. There was great joy among the devotees that day. They were enthusiastically pouring color-gulal and curd-turmeric on each other. As if Nandotsav is being celebrated today. The devotees felt that the Gods in the sky were chanting, mixing their happiness with their happiness, and while giving abhayadan to the devotees, they were ordering that now there is nothing to be afraid of, your troubles are gone now. Not only in Navadvipa, there will be such a captivating flood of Bhakti-Bhagirathi in the whole country that by which all living beings will become pure and this melodious sound of ‘Hari Bol, Hari Bol’ will be heard everywhere.
