[भज] निताई-गौर राधेश्याम [जप] हरेकृष्ण हरेराम
पठानों को प्रेम-दान और प्रयाग में प्रत्यागमन
अब प्रभु की और उस राजकुमार के धर्मगुरु (पीरसाहब)- की परस्पर में कुछ धार्मिक बातें होने लगीं। वह यवन राजकुमार बड़ा ही सहृदय, सुशील, शान्त और कोमल प्रकृति का था। प्रभु के दर्शनों से ही उस पर बड़ा भारी प्रभाव पड़ा। वह प्रभु की सरलता, भावुकता और तन्मयता को देखकर मुग्ध हो गया और हृदय से उन्हें प्यार करने लगा। पीर साहब भी धर्मान्ध नहीं थे, उनके हृदय में भी सद्विवेक, विचार और प्रेम-प्रसंग को समझने की शक्ति थी। प्रभु की प्रेम भरी बातों को सुनकर वह अपने इस्लामीपन के आग्रह को छोड़कर प्रभु के शरणापन्न हुआ। प्रभु के पैर पकड़कर वह कहने लगा- ‘आप सचमुच नारायण हैं। आपके दर्शनों से मुझे बड़ी शान्ति हुई है। अब आप मेरे उद्धार का कोई उपाय बताइये। मैं तो पीरपन के मिथ्याभिमान में अपने स्वरूप को ही भूल गया था। आपने मुझे डूबते हुए को हाथ पकड़कर उबारा है, अब आप ही मुझे आगे का रास्ता भी कृपा करके बतावें।’
प्रभु ने कहा- ‘आपका हृदय शुद्ध है, इसमें अभिमान रह ही नहीं सकता। यह तो राम के रहने की जगह है। अन्तर्यामी भगवान सबके हृदयों की बातें जानते हैं। भगवान सर्वशक्तिमान और सब कुछ करने में समर्थ हैं। उनसे किसी के हृदय का भाव छिपा नहीं है। उन्हें किसी भी नाम से पुकारिये, उनके किसी भी रूप का सच्चे हृदय से ध्यान कीजिये, उसी से वे प्रसन्न हो जायँगे, क्योंकि संसार में जितने नाम हैं, जितने रूप हैं, वे सब उन्हीं के हैं। उनके बिना किसी नाम-रूपी की प्रतीति ही नहीं हो सकती। भगवान को दास्यभाव से भजना चाहिये। अपने को गुरु आचार्य या शिक्षक नहीं समझना चाहिये। आज से अपने को रामदास समझिये इसी में आपका कल्याण है।’
बस, उसी समय से उसने अपने नाम रामदास रख लिया और वह ‘श्रीकृष्ण, श्रीकृष्ण’ कहकर नृत्य करने लगा। राजकुमार बिजली खाँ तो पहले से ही प्रभु को आत्म समर्पण कर चुका था, उसके कोमल-हृदय में प्रभु की प्रेममयी मूर्ति पहले से ही विराजमान हो चुकी थी। किंतु अब तो वह अपने को नहीं रोक सका। आपने धर्मगुरु के इस परिवर्तन का उसके ऊपर अत्यधिक प्रभाव पड़ा। वह भी ‘कृष्ण-कृष्ण’ कहकर प्रभु के चरण-कमलों में लोटने लगा। प्रभु ने उसे प्रेमालिंगन प्रदान किया। मानो उसके शुद्ध हृदय में प्रभु ने शक्ति का संचार कर दिया हो। प्रभु के प्रेमालिंगन को पाते ही सरल हृदय राजकुमार पागल की भाँति नृत्य करने लगा। उसी समय उसने इस्लामी धर्म की पद्धति को छोड़कर वैष्णवधर्म की शरण ली। वह अपने साथियों के सहित सदा श्रीकृष्ण-कीर्तन में ही मग्न रहने लगा। वे सब-के-सब पठान वैष्णव के नाम से प्रसिद्ध हुए। उनका एक अलग दल ही बन गया। बिजलीखां हिन्दुओं के जिस तीर्थ में भी जाता वहीं वैष्णव लोग उसके भक्ति-भाव से सन्तुष्ट होकर उसका अत्यधिक आदर करते। इस प्रकार पठानों को प्रेम-दान देकर प्रभु गंगा जी के किनारे सोरौं (सूकरक्षेत्र)- में पहुँचे। सोरौं में गंगा-स्नान करके प्रभु बड़े ही प्रसन्न हुए। उन्होंने अपने साथी कृष्णदास को तथा उस माथुरिया साधु बाबा को यहीं से लौट जाने की आज्ञा दी। इस पर वे प्रभु के पैर पकड़कर रोते-रोते कहने लगे- ‘प्रभो! यदि आप हमें सदा अपने पास रखना नहीं चाहते तो प्रयाग तक चलने की आज्ञा तो अवश्य ही दीजिये। मकर की संक्रान्ति का स्नान करके हम लौट आवेंगे।’
प्रभु ने उन दोनों की विनती स्वीकार कर ली और आप अपने सभी साथियों के सहित भगवती भागीरथी के किनारे-किनारे प्रयाग की ओर चले। गंगा जी के किनारे के प्रायः सभी ग्राम गंगा माता के प्रभाव के कारण बड़े ही शुद्ध-पवित्र होते हैं। उन ग्रामों के प्रायः सभी गृहस्थ साधु-महात्माओं को बड़ी ही श्रद्धा के साथ भिक्षा देते हैं। इसीलिये अच्छे-अच्छे विरक्त साधु-महात्मा राजपथ (सड़क)-से कभी यात्रा नहीं करते, वे निरन्तर माता का दर्शन करते हुए और माता के अमृत-तुल्य जल का पान करते हुए गंगा जी के किनारे-किनारे ही विचरण करते हैं। गंगा जी के किनारे यात्रा करने में पग-पग पर प्रयाग का फल मिलता है। गंगा जी के किनारे को साधु-महात्माओं का राजमार्ग ही समझना चाहिये।
प्रभु भी गंगा जी के किनारे के ग्रामों में हरिनाम-संकीर्तन का प्रचार करते हुए और लोगों को प्रेमानन्द में प्लावित करते हुए प्रयाग पहुँचे तथा वहाँ पर पुनः यमुना जी के दर्शन करके प्रेम में उन्मत्त होकर नृत्य करने लगे। प्रयागराज में संगम पर वैसे ही सदा मेला-सा लगा रहता है किन्तु प्रभु के आने से उस मेले की शोभा और भी अधिक बढ़ गयी। हजारों आदमी आ-आकर प्रेम में विभोर होकर प्रभु के साथ नाचने लगते और नाचते-नाचते बेहोश होकर भूमि पर गिर पड़ते। इस प्रकार प्रभु के प्रयाग में आने से वहाँ पर भक्ति की एक प्रकार से बाढ़-सी आ गयी। सभी प्रभु प्रदत्त प्रेमासव का पान करके पागल-से बन गये और अपने-आपको भूलकर सदा-
श्रीकृष्ण गोविन्द हरे मुरारे हे नाथ नारायण वासुदेव।
भगवान के इन सुमधुर नामों से आकाश मण्डल को गुंजाने लगे।

Now some religious things started happening between the Lord and the religious leader of that prince (Peersaheb). That Yavan prince was very kind hearted, gentle, calm and gentle in nature. The darshan of the Lord had a great impact on him. He was mesmerized by the simplicity, sentimentality and poise of the Lord and began to love Him with all his heart. Pir Sahib was also not a fanatic, his heart also had the power to understand conscience, thoughts and love affairs. After listening to the loving words of the Lord, he left his insistence of Islam and surrendered to the Lord. Holding the feet of the Lord, he started saying – ‘You are really Narayan. I have felt great peace from your darshan. Now you tell me some solution for my salvation. I had forgotten my own form in the false pride of pirpan. You have saved me from drowning by holding my hand, now you please show me the way forward.’
The Lord said- ‘Your heart is pure, pride cannot exist in it. This is the place of Ram’s residence. The inner God knows what is in everyone’s heart. God is omnipotent and capable of doing everything. No one’s feelings are hidden from him. Call him by any name, meditate on any of his forms with a true heart, he will be pleased with that, because all the names, all the forms in the world, all belong to him. Without them no name-form can be perceived. God should be worshiped with servitude. One should not consider himself as Guru Acharya or teacher. From today, consider yourself as Ramdas, in this your welfare is done.
That’s all, from that time he named himself Ramdas and started dancing saying ‘Shri Krishna, Shri Krishna’. Prince Bijli Khan had already surrendered himself to the Lord, the loving idol of the Lord had already settled in his tender heart. But now he could not stop himself. This change of your religious teacher had a great impact on him. He also started rolling at the lotus feet of the Lord saying ‘Krishna-Krishna’. The Lord gave him a love hug. As if the Lord has infused power in his pure heart. The simple hearted prince started dancing like a madman as soon as he got the love of the Lord. At the same time, leaving the method of Islamic religion, he took refuge in Vaishnavism. Along with his companions, he always remained engrossed in Shri Krishna-Kirtan. All of them became famous by the name of Pathan Vaishnav. They became a separate party. Wherever Bijlikhan used to go to the pilgrimage of Hindus, the Vaishnav people respected him a lot, being satisfied with his devotion. In this way, by giving love to the Pathans, the Lord reached Soraun (Sukar Kshetra) on the banks of Ganga ji. The Lord was very pleased after taking a bath in the Ganges at Sauron. He ordered his friend Krishna Das and that Mathuria Sadhu Baba to return from here. On this, holding the feet of the Lord, they started crying and saying – ‘Lord! If you don’t want to keep us with you forever, then definitely allow us to walk till Prayag. We will return after taking bath on Makar Sankranti.
The Lord accepted the request of both of them and you along with all your companions walked towards Prayag along the banks of Bhagwati Bhagirathi. Almost all the villages on the banks of Ganga ji are very pure and sacred due to the influence of Mother Ganga. Almost all the householders of those villages give alms to saints and great souls with great devotion. That’s why good detached sages-Mahatma’s never travel through the Rajpath (road), they continuously wander along the banks of Ganga ji, having darshan of Mother and drinking Mother’s nectar-like water. In traveling on the banks of Ganga ji, you get the fruit of Prayag at every step. The bank of Ganga ji should be considered as the highway of sages and saints.
Prabhu also reached Prayag while propagating Harinam-Sankirtan in the villages on the banks of Ganga ji and flooding people with love and joy and there again after seeing Yamuna ji, started dancing madly in love. In Prayagraj, there is always a fair like this at Sangam, but with the arrival of the Lord, the glory of that fair increased even more. Thousands of people came and started dancing with the Lord in love and while dancing fell unconscious on the ground. In this way, when the Lord came to Prayag, there was a kind of flood of devotion there. Everyone became mad after drinking the love given by God and forgetting themselves, always
