देखि विचार त्यागी मद मोहा…

अवध से आने के बाद मैं कुञ्ज में गया था आज…
प्रातः के 5 बज रहे थे… कल बारिश हुयी है बहुत ।
मैं कदम्ब वृक्ष के नीचे बैठ कर ध्यान कर रहा था… एक कोमल और शीतल कर ने मेरे शीश का स्पर्श किया ।
एक अलग ही ऊर्जा का संचार हुआ…
मैंने आँखें खोल कर देखी… तो सामने पागलबाबा थे ।
मैंने साष्टांग प्रणाम किया उन्हें ।
पवनपुत्र की आत्मकथा को आगे बढ़ाओ… बड़े प्रेम से आज्ञा दी थी उन्होंने… देखो ! कम से कम रघुनाथ जी से मिला तो दो किशोरी जी को… ।
और तुम… लोगों के लिए कहाँ लिखते हो… तुम तो स्वानन्द के लिये ही लेखनी चलाते हो… फिर अस्तित्व तो देख ही रहा है ।
देखो ! ऐसे-ऐसे सन्त हुए हैं… लेखक हुए हैं… जो लिखते थे… और नदी में बहा देते थे… क्यों कि वे अपने इष्ट के लिए ही लिखते थे… तुम भी ऐसे ही निष्काम होकर लिखो… ।
तुम्हें लगता होगा… उपदेश प्रधान बातें लोगों को अच्छी लगती हैं… पर भगवत् चर्चा का अपना एक महत्व होता है ।
मैंने अपना सिर झुका लिया… अवध के हनुमान गढ़ी में भी मुझे ऐसा ही आभास हुआ था बाबा !… कि वो कह रहे हैं… इस प्रसंग को पूरा लिखो… बाबा मुस्कुराते हुए चले गए ।
साधकों ! मैंने जो भरत जी को हनुमान जी अपनी आत्मकथा सुना रहे हैं ये प्रसंग लिख रहा हूँ… वो साकेत धाम का है… साकेत धाम जो नित्य है… जिसमें सियाराम जी विराजमान हैं… साकेत धाम ही अवध है… नित्य अवध… पृथ्वी का अवध… मात्र अवतार काल का है… पर साकेत नित्य है ।
हनुमान जी रहते हैं किम्पुरुष वर्ष में ( भागवत के पंचमस्कन्ध में इसका वर्णन है )… वहाँ चले जाते हैं जब प्रभु श्रीराम विश्राम करते हैं… वही बैठकर वो ध्यान चिन्तन करते रहते हैं… फिर प्रातः साकेत धाम में आ जाते हैं… ये नित्य लीला है… प्रलय में भी साकेत धाम का कुछ नही बिगड़ता…
इसके ही पास में गोलोक धाम है… जहाँ श्रीकृष्ण के भक्त रहते हैं… और इससे ऊपर… श्रीधाम वृन्दावन है… नित्य वृन्दावन… जहाँ रस रास ही चलता रहता है… वैकुण्ठ धाम नारायण के भक्तों के लिए है… ये सब आस-पास हैं… ।
कभी ठाकुर जी ने चाहा तो उस नित्य श्रीधाम वृन्दावन का वर्णन करूँगा… ।
ये सगुण उपासको का धाम है… और सगुण उपासकों की मुक्ति भी यही है… सगुण उपासकों के जो-जो इष्ट हैं… वो अपने-अपने इष्ट के धाम में ही जाते हैं… जैसे नारायण के भक्त वैकुण्ठ में… भगवान श्रीराम के भक्त साकेत में… श्रीकृष्ण के भक्त गोलोक में…
पर रसोपासना के भक्त… जहाँ सखी भाव है… नित्य रास चल रहा है… ( इसका कभी विस्तार से वर्णन करूँगा )
वो उपासक… श्रीधाम वृन्दावन में जाते हैं… जिसे निकुञ्ज भी कहते हैं… ।
श्री राधा बाबा जी ने… और श्री हनुमान प्रसाद पोद्धार जी ने इसका कुछ वर्णन किया है… अस्तु ।
अभी तो मैं साकेत धाम का वर्णन कर रहा हूँ… जहाँ सब हैं… सिया जू हैं… प्रभु श्रीराम हैं… दशरथ जी… कौशल्या जी… भरत इत्यादि सब हैं… और ये सब नित्य हैं… सरजू वहाँ भी नित्य बहती हैं… ।
मेरा वर्णन वहीं का है… ।
हनुमान जी से पूछा… भरत जी ने… हे पवनपुत्र !
फिर अशोक वाटिका में आपका भाभी माँ से सम्वाद होने के बाद
आपने क्या किया ?…
भरत भैया ! मैंने माँ मैथिली से कहा… माँ मुझे भूख लग रही है…
आपकी अगर आज्ञा हो तो मैं… फल खाऊँ ? इस वाटिका में कितने सुंदर-सुंदर फल लगे हैं… माँ बोलिये ना ?
माँ ने कहा… पर राक्षस तुम्हें मारेंगे तो ?
कितने भोलेपन से कहा था माँ मैथिली ने मुझ से ।
माँ ! आप उसकी चिन्ता छोड़िये… बस आज्ञा दीजिये ।
ठीक है जाओ… फल खाओ… पर धरती पर जो फल गिरे हों उन्हें ही खाना… ताकि राक्षसों को पता न चले ।
भरत भैया ! ये भी दिक्कत थी एक… अब माँ ने कहा… पृथ्वी पर गिरे ही फल खाना…
मैं गया… मैंने देखा चारों ओर…
फल गिरे ही नही थे… तो मैंने पेड़ों को पकड़ा और हिलाने लगा… कितने कमजोर थे लंका के पेड़… थोड़ा हिलाते ही जड़ सहित उखड़ ही गए… पर फल को मैंने धरती पर गिराकर ही खाया ।
भरत जी बहुत हँसे…
मैंने बहुत राक्षसों को मारा वहाँ… क्यों कि सब दौड़ पड़े थे ।
अक्षय कुमार आया… मैंने देखा… अरे ! इसी से तो दिक्कत है हमारे युवराज अंगद जी को… तो मैंने उसके भी प्राण ले लिए… ।
पर मुझे रावण से सम्वाद करना था… इसलिए रावण का पुत्र इंद्रजीत जब आया… तो मैं उसके पाश में बंध गया ।
ब्रह्म पाश था… उसके पास… मैं चाहता तो तोड़ सकता था… पर नही तोड़ा मैंने उस पाश को… ब्रह्मा जी का अपमान होता ।
वो मुझे बाँध कर ले गया रावण की सभा में ।
क्या सभा थी उसकी भरत भैया !… इंद्र की सभा भी मैंने देखी है… पर तुच्छ है इसके आगे इंद्र की सभा ।
कज्जल की तरह काला… रावण उच्च सिंहासन पर बैठा हुआ था ।
यही है वो उत्पाती वानर !
इंद्रजीत ने कहा… ।
रावण का मैं अध्यन करने लगा था…
सम्पूर्ण राजकीय भेष में ही था रावण ।
क्या अनुशासित सभा थी उसकी… मैंने उस सभा में अग्नि वायु यम आदि को वहाँ देखा ।
वे भयभीत थे…
दो सिंहासन थे… एक पर जाकर इंद्रजीत बैठ गया था…
पर दूसरा अभी खाली ही था…
रावण के नीचे दो स्वर्ण के सिंहासन और थे… उसमें रावण के दो मन्त्री बैठे हुए थे ।
रावण को देखकर मुझे लगा… इतना बड़ा पण्डित रावण… वेदों का ज्ञाता… अनुपम शक्ति अद्भुत तेज़… प्रकांड विद्वान…।
अगर ये अधर्मी न होता तो… इंद्र समेत अभी देवताओं का ये संरक्षक होता… ।
भरत भैया ! ये काला था… पर सुंदर था… वज्र के समान इसका देह… गम्भीर था ये…
इससे पूछो कि ये कौन है और कहाँ से आया है ?
रावण की आवाज भी बड़ी गम्भीर थी… उसने ये प्रश्न मुझ से नही किया… अपने मन्त्री से किया था ।
और प्रश्न करते समय… वो क्रोध में था… उसकी आँखें बता रही थीं कि वो मुझे बिना मारे छोड़ेगा नही… ।
मैं निडर होकर खड़ा था…शायद मैं ही ऐसा था इस सभा के इतिहास में कि रावण के सामने निडर खड़ा था ।
मन्त्री ने मुझ से वही प्रश्न दोहराया… जो रावण ने पूछा था ।
मैं क्यों डरने लगा उससे भला… मुझे मेरे प्रभु श्रीराम और माँ मैथिली की कृपा जो प्राप्त थी ।
वानर डरो मत… बताओ कौन हो तुम ? राक्षस राज न्याय करेंगे ।
मैं हँसा… भरत भैया ! मुझे हँसी ये आ रही थी कि मैं डर कहाँ रहा था… फिर भी रावण का ये मन्त्री मुझे बार-बार कह रहा था… डरो मत ।
मैंने बोलना शुरू किया उस सभा में ।
हे राक्षस राज दशानन ! भगवान श्रीराम से तो आप परिचित ही हैं ।
वो श्रीराम… जो सकल जगत के स्वामी हैं… वो श्रीराम… जिनकी एक मुस्कुराहट से सकल सृष्टि का निर्माण हो जाता है… और थोड़ी भृकुटि टेढ़ी हुयी कि… सब कुछ समाप्त ।
मैं उन्हीं का दूत हूँ…
जनकपुर में माँ मैथिली के साथ पाणिग्रहण किया है प्रभु श्रीराम ने ।
फिर तुम्हारे जैसे विद्वान ने… क्यों ऐसा निकृष्ट काम किया ।
क्यों अधर्म किया… किसी की भार्या को चुरा कर ले आये…
क्यों ?
रावण क्रोध से काँप रहा था मेरी निडरता देखकर ।
तभी मैंने देखा… विभीषण आ गये थे… और जो सिंहासन खाली था उसमें जाकर बैठ गए थे…।
पर वाटिका क्यों उजाड़ी तुमने वानर ? और अक्षयकुमार और मेरे पुत्र को क्यों मारा ?… मन्त्री ने प्रश्न किया ।
मैं वानर हूँ… भूख लगी… तो फल खाने लगा… अब पेड़ पर चढ़ना… पेड़ों को हिलाना ये तो हमारा स्वभाव ही है… अब दशानन ! तुम्हारे ही वृक्ष इतने कमजोर थे कि टूट गए ।
रही बात मारने की… तो वो लोग मुझे मारने आये थे… मैंने तो आत्मरक्षा के लिए अपना हाथ ही उठाया था… मर गए तो मैं क्या करूँ ?
ओह ! हे दशग्रीव ! तुम्हारा पुत्र था वो… बहुत कमजोर था… मैंने तो धीरे से मारा था… इतने में ही ?
भरत भैया ! ये कहते हुए मैं हँसा… रावण अब चिल्ला उठा क्रोध से ।
तुझे पता है… इंद्र भी थर-थर काँपता है मुझ से… और तू बकवाद कर रहा है मेरे सामने खड़ा होकर… ।
लोक परलोक के अधीश्वर मेरे सेवक हैं…
तू अपना परिचय क्या देगा… मैं सब जानता हूँ… सुग्रीव के साथ रहता है ना तू ?
वो सुग्रीव ?… जो बाली के भय से भागता फिरा ।
दशानन ने क्रोध में अपनी मुट्ठियाँ भींच ली थीं ।
और राम की बात करता है… अपने पिता के द्वारा निर्वासित राम ।
रावण बड़बड़ाता जा रहा था… मैं पहले तुझे मारता हूँ… फिर सीता को मारूँगा…
भरत भैया ! मेरे लिए ये असह्य बात थी…
रावण !
मैं चिल्लाया… मेरे चिल्लाने से उसकी मजबूत सभा हिल गयी थी… सब डर गए थे ।
तू प्रभु श्रीराम की बात करता है… अरे ! रावण ! मेरे जैसे श्रीराम दूत में कितनी ताकत है… यही देख ले… प्रभु श्रीराम की बात तो छोड़ ही दे तू ।
रावण ! तुझ जैसे तो मेरे लिए कीड़े की तरह हैं… मसल दूँगा तुझे यहीं… मेरे प्रभु श्रीराम को आने की जरूरत ही नही पड़ेगी यहाँ ।
तुझ में हिम्मत हो तो रावण… आ… आ… मैं चिल्लाया ।
मारो… इसे… रावण की आवाज गूँजी ।
मेरे पीछे ही सारे राक्षस आकर खड़े हो गए थे… तलवार लेकर ।
मैं समझ गया था कि मेरे पीछे खड़े हैं सब लोग… मुझे मारने के लिए ।
तभी मैंने देखा… अपने सिंहासन से उठे विभीषण और रावण के पास में आकर कान में कुछ बोले…
रावण ने विभीषण को भी झिड़क दिया…
क्या बोले थे विभीषण ? भरत जी ने पूछा ।
मैंने यही बात विभीषण से बाद में पूछी थी… जब हमारी राम सेना में सम्मिलित हो गए तब ।
दूत को नही मारना चाहिये… इस बेचारे दूत को मारने से क्या होगा ?
तो क्या करूँ मैं ?… रावण ने विभीषण से ही पूछा था ।
वानर को अपनी पूँछ प्रिय होती है…।
रावण ने सभा में कहा… अंग-भंग कर दो इसका… ताकि इसके स्वामी राम भी देखे तो समझ जाए कि रावण की लंका में जाने का परिणाम क्या होता है ।
भरत भैया ! मैं सुन रहा था… और सावधान था ।
कभी भी कुछ भी हो सकता था… मैं तैयार था… ।
तभी रावण ने कहा… आग लगा दो इसकी पूँछ में ।
बस… मैंने सरस्वती को धन्यवाद कहा…
सरस्वती ने मेरी सहायता की थी…
रावण की वाणी में उन्हीं ने प्रवेश किया था ।
मैंने मन ही मन… सारी योजना बना ली थी… “लंका को जलाऊंगा”
विभीषण ने मेरी देखा… मैंने उन्हें कहा… आप चिन्ता न करें… इशारे में… पर विभीषण चिंतित से दिखे… उन्हें डर था कि कहीं मेरा कुछ बिगड़ न जाए… पर मैं भी उन्हें आश्वस्त न कर सका… सब लोग मेरी पूँछ पर ही लिपट गए थे ।

And you… where do you write for the people… you use the pen only for self-enjoyment… then the existence is watching.
See ! There have been such and such saints… there have been writers… who used to write… and used to throw it in the river… because they used to write only for their favorite… you also write like this selflessly….
You must be thinking… people like preaching-oriented things… but Bhagwat discussion has its own importance.
I bowed my head… I had the same feeling in Hanuman Garhi of Awadh too Baba!… That he is saying… Write this context in full… Baba went away smiling.
Seekers! I am writing this context of Hanuman ji narrating his autobiography to Bharat ji… that is of Saket Dham… Saket Dham which is eternal… in which Siyaram ji resides… Saket Dham is Awadh… Nitya Awadh… Awadh of the earth… Only Avatar is of time… but Saket is eternal.
Hanuman ji lives in the Kimpurush year (this is described in Panchamskandha of Bhagwat)… he goes there when Lord Shriram rests… sitting there he meditates… then comes to Saket Dham in the morning… this is a daily leela. … Nothing spoils in Saket Dham even in the holocaust…
Near it is Golok Dham… where the devotees of Shri Krishna live… and above it… Shridham is Vrindavan… Nitya Vrindavan… where rasa rasa goes on… Vaikuntha Dham is for the devotees of Narayan… all these are nearby… .
If Thakur Ji ever wants, I will describe that eternal Shridham Vrindavan.
This is the abode of Saguna worshipers… and the salvation of Saguna worshipers is also the same… Those who are the favorite of Saguna worshipers… they go to the abode of their favorite… Like devotees of Narayan in Vaikunth… Devotees of Lord Shriram in Saket … Devotees of Shri Krishna in Goloka…
But the devotees of Rasopasana… where there is friendship… the rasa is going on daily… (I will describe it in detail someday)
Those worshippers… go to Sridham Vrindavan… which is also called Nikunj….
Shri Radha Baba ji… and Shri Hanuman Prasad Podhar ji have given some description of this… Astu.
Right now I am describing Saket Dham… where everyone is… Siya Ju is… Lord Shri Ram is… Dashrath ji… Kaushalya ji… Bharat etc are all… and all these are eternal… Sarju flows there also…

I killed many demons there… because everyone was running.
Akshay Kumar came… I saw… Hey! This is why our prince Angad ji has a problem… so I took his life too….
But I had to talk to Ravana… That’s why when Ravana’s son Indrajit came… I got tied in his noose.
Brahma Paash was… with him… I could have broken it if I wanted… but I did not break that loop… Brahma ji would have been insulted.
He tied me up and took me to Ravana’s gathering.
What a meeting Bharat Bhaiya had!… I have also seen Indra’s meeting… But Indra’s meeting is insignificant in front of this.
Black like kajal… Ravana was sitting on a high throne.
This is that mischievous monkey!

What a disciplined meeting it had… I saw Agni Vayu Yama etc. there in that meeting.

There were two thrones… Indrajit sat on one…
But the other one was still empty.
There were two more golden thrones below Ravana… Two ministers of Ravana were sitting in it.
Seeing Ravana, I felt… Such a great scholar Ravana… Knowledgeable of Vedas… Unique power amazing fast… Great scholar….
If he had not been unrighteous, he would have been the protector of the gods, including Indra.
Brother Bharat! It was black… but it was beautiful… its body was like a thunderbolt… it was serious…
Ask him who is this and where did he come from?
Ravana’s voice was also very serious… He did not ask this question to me… He did it to his minister.

Why did I get scared of him… I was blessed by the blessings of my Lord Shri Ram and Mother Maithili.
Monkey don’t be afraid… Tell me who are you? Rakshasa Raj will do justice.
I laughed… Bharat Bhaiya! I was laughing that where was I afraid… still this minister of Ravana was telling me again and again… don’t be afraid.
I started speaking in that meeting.
O demon King Dashanan! You are already familiar with Lord Shriram.
That Shriram… who is the lord of the whole world… that Shriram… with whose one smile the entire universe is created… and a little bit of the brow was crooked… everything is over.
I am his messenger…
Lord Shriram has taken water with Mother Maithili in Janakpur.
Then why did a scholar like you do such a bad thing?
Why did you commit unrighteousness… stole someone’s wife and brought it back…
Why ?
Ravana was trembling with anger seeing my fearlessness.
Only then I saw… Vibhishan had come… and went and sat on the throne which was empty….
But why did you destroy the garden, you monkey? And why did you kill Akshay Kumar and my son?… the minister questioned.
I am a monkey… I was hungry… then started eating fruits… now climbing trees… shaking trees is our nature… now Dashanan! Your own trees were so weak that they broke.
As for killing… So those people had come to kill me… I had raised my hand only for self-defense… What should I do if I die?
Oh ! Hey Dashagriva! He was your son… he was very weak… I had killed him slowly… just in this?
Brother Bharat! I laughed while saying this… Ravana now shouted with anger.
You know… even Indra trembles with me… and you are talking nonsense standing in front of me….
The lord of the world and the other world is my servant…
What will you introduce yourself… I know everything… You live with Sugriva, don’t you?
That Sugriva?… who used to run away due to the fear of Bali.
Dashanan clenched his fists in anger.
And talks about Ram… Ram exiled by his father.
Ravana was muttering… I will kill you first… then I will kill Sita…
Brother Bharat! It was unbearable for me…
Ravana !
I shouted…my shout shook the strong assembly…everyone was scared.
You talk about Lord Shriram… Hey! Ravana ! How much power is there in the messenger of Shri Ram like me… just see this… At least leave the talk of Lord Shri Ram.
Ravana ! People like you are like insects for me… I will give you muscle here… My Lord Shriram will not need to come here.
If you have the courage, Ravan… Aa… Aa… I shouted.
Hit… him… Ravan’s voice echoed.
All the demons had come and stood behind me… with swords.
I understood that everyone is standing behind me… to kill me.
Only then I saw… Vibhishan got up from his throne and came near Ravana and said something in his ear…
Ravana reprimanded Vibhishan as well.
What did Vibhishan say? Bharat ji asked.
I asked the same thing to Vibhishan later… when our Ram joined the army.
The messenger should not be killed… What will happen by killing this poor messenger?
So what should I do?… Ravana had asked Vibhishan only.
Monkey loves its tail….
Ravana said in the assembly… dismember his body… so that even its master Ram sees it, then he can understand what is the result of Ravana going to Lanka.
Brother Bharat! I was listening… and was careful.
Anything could happen anytime… I was ready….
That’s why Ravana said… set fire to his tail.
That’s all… I said thank you to Saraswati…
Saraswati helped me…
He only entered in the speech of Ravana.
I had made all the plans in my mind… “I will burn Lanka”
Vibhishan looked at me… I told him… you don’t worry… in a gesture… but Vibhishan looked worried… he was afraid that something might happen to me… but I also could not assure him… everyone clung to my tail. They went .
