।। श्रीहनुमते नमः ।।
रामभक्त हनुमान का जन्म माँ अंजना के गर्भ से हुआ था। स्कंदपुराण के अनुसार हनुमानजी को रुद्रावतार और वायुपुत्र भी कहते हैं। हनुमान जन्म से ही महाबलवान तथा सभी शास्त्रों के ज्ञाता थे। मैत्रेयजी हनुमान के बारे में कहते हैं-
महाबलं महासत्वं विष्णुभक्तिपरायणम्।
सर्वदेवमयं वीरं ब्रह्मविष्णुशिवात्मकम्।।
वेदवेदान्ततत्त्वज्ञं सर्वविद्याविशारदम्।
सर्वब्रह्मविदां श्रेष्ठं सर्वदर्शनसम्मतम्।।
(वह बालक) महाबलशाली, बड़े शरीर का, विष्णु की भक्ति में परायण, सभी देवताओं का अंश होने से सभी देवताओं के रूप वाला, वीर, ब्रह्माविष्णुशिवात्मक, वेद और वेदान्त को तत्त्व से जानने वाला, सभी विद्याओं मे विशारद, सभी ब्रह्मविदों में श्रेष्ठ एवं सभी दर्शनों का ज्ञाता था।
हनुमानजी के जन्म को लेकर विद्वानों में अलग-अलग मत हैं जिनमें तीन तिथियाँ- चैत्र पूर्णिमा, चैत्र शुक्ल एकादशी तथा कार्तिक कृष्ण चतुर्दशी सर्वाधिक प्रचलित हैं। इसमें से चैत्र पूर्णिमा को हनुमान जन्म सर्वमान्य है। इस मत को निम्नलिखित श्लोक से समझा जा सकता है-
महाचैत्री पूर्णीमाया समुत्पन्नौ अन्जनीसुतः।
वदन्ति कल्पभेदेन बुधा इत्यादि केचन।।
हनुमान का जन्म मेष लग्न में, चित्रा नक्षत्र में हुआ था। हनुमानजी के जन्म को हनुमान जयंती के रूप में मनाया जाता है। आजकल कुछ लोगों ने भ्रम की स्थिति पैदा की है जिसमें वो यह कहते हैं हनुमान जयंती न कहकर हनुमान जन्मोत्सव कहना चाहिए। इस बात का शास्त्रीय कोई आधार नहीं है। शास्त्र कहते हैं-
जयंतीनामपूर्वोक्ता हनूमज्जन्मवासरः तस्यां भक्त्या कपिवरं नरा नियतमानसाः।
जपंतश्चार्चयंतश्च पुष्पपाद्यार्घ्यचंदनैः धूपैर्दीपैश्च नैवेद्यैः फलैर्ब्राह्मणभोजनैः।
समंत्रार्घ्यप्रदानैश्च नृत्यगीतैस्तथैव च तस्मान्मनोरथान्सर्वान्लभंते नात्र संशयः।।
हनुमानजी के जन्म का दिन जयंती नाम से बताया गया है। उस दिन भक्तिपूर्वक, मन को वश मे करके, पुष्प, अर्घ्य चंदन से, धूप, दीप से, नैवेद्य से, फलों से, ब्रह्मणों को भोजन कराने से, मंत्रपूर्वक अर्घ्य प्रदान करने से तथा नृत्यगीता आदि से कपिश्रेष्ठ का जप, अर्चना करते हुए मनुष्य सभी मनोरथों को प्राप्त करते हैं, इसमें कोई संशय नहीं है।
हमारे पुराण कहते हैं कि गणेश और हनुमान ही कलियुग के ऐसे देवता हैं, जो अपने भक्तों से कभी रुठते नहीं, अत: इनकी आराधना करने वालों से गलतियां भी होती हैं, तो वह क्षम्य होती हैं।
हनुमान जयन्ती पर मंदिर में हनुमानजी को चमेली के तेल में अथवा शुद्ध देशी घी में चोला चढ़ाकर चांदी का वरक लगाएं। केले का प्रसाद चढ़ाएं। सुन्दर गुलाब के फूलों की माला और इत्र चढ़ाएं। हनुमानजी को बिना चूना लगा हुआ एक मीठा पान चढ़ाएं। पान में इलायची और लौंग जरूर हो।
श्री हनुमान चालीसा, बजरंग बाण, राम रक्षा स्तोत्र का पाठ जरूर करें। सुन्दरकाण्ड का पाठ तो सर्वोत्तम है। हनुमानजी के बारह नाम का जप करें। श्रीहनुमद वडवानल स्तोत्र का पाठ करें। हनुमानजी को चूरमा का भोग लगाएं।
हनुमानजी के बारह नाम-
हनुमानञ्जनी सूनुर्वायुपुत्रो महाबल:।
रामेष्ट: फाल्गुनसख: पिङ्गाक्षोमितविक्रम:।।
उदधिक्रमणश्चैव सीताशोकविनाशन:।
लक्ष्मणप्राणदाता च दशग्रीवस्य दर्पहा।।
उनका एक नाम तो हनुमान है ही, दूसरा अंजनी सूनु, तीसरा वायुपुत्र, चौथा महाबल, पांचवां रामेष्ट (राम जी के प्रिय), छठा फाल्गुनसख (अर्जुन के मित्र), सातवां पिंगाक्ष (भूरे नेत्र वाले) आठवां अमितविक्रम, नौवां उदधिक्रमण (समुद्र को लांघने वाले), दसवां सीताशोकविनाशन (सीताजी के शोक को नाश करने वाले), ग्यारहवां लक्ष्मणप्राणदाता (लक्ष्मण को संजीवनी बूटी द्वारा जीवित करने वाले) और बारहवां नाम है- दशग्रीवदर्पहा। (रावण के घमंड को चूर करने वाले।) ये बारह नाम श्रीहनुमान जी के गुणों के द्योतक हैं। श्रीराम और सीता के प्रति जो सेवाकार्य उनके द्वारा हुए हैं, ये सभी नाम उनके परिचायक हैं और यही श्रीहनुमान की स्तुति है। इन नामों का जो रात्रि में सोने के समय या प्रातःकाल उठने पर अथवा यात्रारम्भ के समय पाठ करता है, उस व्यक्ति के सभी भय दूर हो जाते हैं।

Rambhakta Hanuman was born from the womb of mother Anjana. According to Skandpuran, Hanumanji is also known as Rudravatar and Vayuputra. Hanuman was very strong and knowledgeable of all the scriptures since birth. Maitreyaji says about Hanuman-
He was very strong and very powerful and devoted to the devotion of Vishnu. He is the hero of all the gods and is composed of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva.
He knew the truth of Vedas and Vedanta and was an expert in all sciences. It is the best of all the knowers of the Brahman and is accepted by all philosophers.
(That child) Mighty-strong, Large-bodied, Devoted to the devotion of Vishnu, Being a part of all gods, Having the form of all gods, Brave, Brahma-VishnuShivative, Knowledgeable of Vedas and Vedanta in essence, Visharad in all Vidyas, Best among all Brahmavids And was the knower of all philosophies.
There are different views among the scholars regarding the birth of Hanumanji, in which three dates – Chaitra Purnima, Chaitra Shukla Ekadashi and Kartik Krishna Chaturdashi are most popular. Out of this, the birth of Hanuman on Chaitra Purnima is universally accepted. This opinion can be understood from the following verse-
The two sons of Anjani were born of Mahachaitri and Purnimaya Some, such as Budha, say that by the difference of the Kalpas.
Hanuman was born in Aries ascendant, Chitra Nakshatra. The birth of Hanumanji is celebrated as Hanuman Jayanti. Nowadays some people have created a situation of confusion in which they say that instead of saying Hanuman Jayanti, it should be called Hanuman Janmotsav. There is no scientific basis for this. The scriptures say-
The birthday of Hanuman, mentioned earlier as Jayanti, is the day on which men with fixed minds worship the great monkey with devotion.
They chanted and worshiped him with flowers, water for washing feet, arghya, sandalwood, incense, lamps, offerings, fruits and food for the brahmins.
They undoubtedly obtain all their desires by chanting mantras offering arghya and also by dancing and singing
The day of birth of Hanumanji has been told by the name Jayanti. On that day, man chanting and worshiping Kapishrestha with devotion, by controlling the mind, offering flowers, offering sandalwood, incense, lamps, offering food, fruits, offering food to Brahmins, chanting mantras and dance songs etc. All desires are achieved, there is no doubt about it.
Our Puranas say that Ganesha and Hanuman are the only deities of Kali Yuga, who never get angry with their devotees, so even if mistakes are made by those who worship them, they are forgivable.
On the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, in the temple, after offering a cloak to Hanumanji in jasmine oil or in pure desi ghee, apply a silver varak. Offer banana prasad. Offer garland and perfume of beautiful roses. Offer a sweet paan without lime to Hanumanji. There must be cardamom and cloves in the paan.
Do recite Shri Hanuman Chalisa, Bajrang Baan, Ram Raksha Stotra. The recitation of Sunderkand is the best. Chant the twelve names of Hanumanji. Recite Shri Hanumad Vadwanal Stotra. Offer churma to Hanumanji.
Twelve Names of Hanuman-
The mighty Hanuman son of Anjani was the son of Vayu He was dear to Rama and a friend of Phalguna He had yellow eyes and prowess
Crossing the ocean and destroying the grief of Sita He gave life to Lakshmana and destroyed the pride of the tenheaded Ravana
One of his names is Hanuman, the second Anjani Soonu, the third Vayuputra, the fourth Mahabala, the fifth Rameshta (beloved of Rama), the sixth Falgunsakh (friend of Arjuna), the seventh Pingaksha (brown-eyed). crossing), the tenth Sitashokavinashan (destroyer of Sita’s sorrow), the eleventh Lakshmanpranadata (reviving Lakshman by the life-giving herb) and the twelfth name is Dashagrivadarpaha. (They crush the pride of Ravana.) These twelve names signify the qualities of Lord Hanuman. All these names are indicative of the services rendered by him to Sri Rama and Sita and this is the praise of Sri Hanuman. All the fears of the person who recites these names at night or when he gets up in the morning or when he starts his journey are removed.

I always have only one deity – Sri Hanuman, There is only one mantra – Hanumat Prakashak Mantra, There is only one idol – of Hanuman Swarup, and There is only one deed – worship of Hanuman.
One God is the all-giving Sri Hanuman and one mantra is the light of Sri Hanuman. One idol is the form of Sri Hanuman and one action is devoted to Sri Hanuman.
