वृंदावन मे बिहार से एक परिवार आकर रहने लगा। परिवार मे केवल दो सदस्य थे – राजू और उसकी पत्नी राजू वृंदावन मे रिक्शा चलाकर अपना जीवन यापन करता था और रोज बिहारी जी की शयन आरती मे जाता था पर जिंदगी की भागम भाग मे धीरे-धीरे उसे बिहारी जी के दर्शन को सौभागय ना मिलता। हरि कृपा से उसके घर एक बेटी हुई लेकिन वो जन्म से ही नेत्रहीन थी। उसने बड़ी कौशिश की पर हर तरफ से निराशा ही हाथ लगी। बेचारा गरीब करता भी क्या? इसे ही किस्मत समझ कर खुश रहने की कोशिश करने लगा। उसकी दिनचर्या बस इतनी थी। वृंदावन मे भक्तों को इधर से उधर लेकर जाना लोगों से बिहारी जी के चमत्कार सुनता और सोचता मैं भी बिहारी जी से जाकर अपनी तकलीफ कह आता हूँ फिर ये सोचकर चुप हो जाता बिहारी जी के पास जाऊं और वो भी कुछ माँगने के लिए ही, नही ये ठीक नही है पर एक दिन पक्का मन करके बिहारी जी के मंदिर तक पहुँचा और देखा गोस्वामी जी बाहर आ रहे हैं।**उसने पुजारी से कहा, क्या मैं बिहारी जी के दर्शन कर सकता हूँ?**पुजारी जी बोले, मंदिर तो बंद हो गया है। तुम कल आना।**पुजारी जी बोले, क्या तुम मुझे घर तक छोड़ दोगे?**राजू ने रोती आंखों को छुपाते हुए, हाँ में सिर को हिला दिया।**पुजारी जी रिक्शा पर बैठ गए और राजू से पूछा, बिहारी जी को क्या कहना था?**राजू ने कहा, बिहारी जी से अपनी बेटी के लिए आंखों की रोशनी माँगनी थी वो बचपन से देख नही सकती। बातों बातों मे पुजारी जी का घर कब आ गया? पता ही ना चला पर घर आकर राजू ने जो देखा सुना वो हैरान कर देने वाला था।घर आकर राजू ने देखा उसकी बेटी दौड़ भाग कर रही है। उसने अपनी बेटी को उठाकर पूछा ये कैसे हुआ? बेटी बोली पिताजी! आज एक लड़का मेरे पास आया और बोला तुम राजू की बेटी हो। मैंने जैसे ही हां कहा उसने अपने दोनो हाथ मेरी आंखों पर रख दिए फिर मुझे सब दिखने लगा पर वो लड़का मुझे कहीं नही दिखा। यह सब सुनकर राजू भागते-भागते पुजारी जी के घर पहुँचा, और पुजारी जी से सबकुछ बताया, पर पुजारी जी बोले मैं तो दो दिन से बीमार हूँ। मैं तो दो दिन से बिहारी जी के दर्शन को मंदिर ही नही गया।* यह सुनकर राजू की आखों से आंसू बहने लगे,। ऐसे ही है हमारे बांके बिहारी जो अपने भक्तों के मन की बात भी सुनकर, उनके कष्टों को दूर करने किसी ना किसी रूप में पहूंच ही जाते है।
A family from Bihar came and started living in Vrindavan. There were only two members in the family – Raju and his wife Raju used to live their life by driving a rickshaw in Vrindavan and used to go to the bed aarti of Bihari ji every day, but gradually in the part of life, he did not get the good fortune of seeing Bihari ji. A daughter was born to her by Hari Kripa but she was blind since birth. He tried hard but was disappointed from all sides. What does the poor poor do? Considering this as luck, he started trying to be happy. That was his routine. Taking the devotees from here to there in Vrindavan, listening to the miracles of Bihari ji from the people and thinking I would also go to Bihari ji and tell my problems, then I would be silent thinking that I should go to Bihari ji and that too only to ask for something, no. This is not right but one day I reached Bihari ji’s temple with a firm heart and saw Goswami ji coming out. ** He said to the priest, can I have darshan of Bihari ji? ** The priest said, the temple is there. is closed. You come tomorrow. ** Priest ji said, will you drop me till home? ** Raju shook his head yes, hiding his weeping eyes. ** Priest ji sat on the rickshaw and asked Raju, Bihari ji What did he have to say?** Raju said, had to ask Bihari ji for his daughter’s eyesight, she could not see since childhood. When did the priest’s house come in talks? I didn’t know, but what Raju saw after coming home was astonishing. After coming home, Raju saw his daughter running. He picked up his daughter and asked how did this happen? Daughter said father! Today a boy came to me and said you are Raju’s daughter. As soon as I said yes, he put both his hands on my eyes, then I started seeing everything but that boy did not show me anywhere. Hearing all this, Raju ran to the priest’s house, and told everything to the priest, but the priest said that I have been ill for two days. I did not even go to the temple for two days to see Bihari ji. * Hearing this, tears started flowing from Raju’s eyes. Such is our Banke Bihari, who listens to the mind of his devotees and reaches out in some form or the other to remove their sufferings.
