त्रेतायुग की प्रतिज्ञा भगवान ने द्वापरयुग में पूरी की! सेतु-बंधन के लिए वानरदल द्वारा पर्वत-खण्डों का लाना।
हनुमानजी, सेतु-बंधन और गोवर्धन पर्वत में क्या सम्बन्ध है ? ?
वाराहपुराण के अनुसार त्रेतायुग में भगवान श्रीराम ने समुद्र पार कर लंका जाने के लिए सेतु-बंधन (समुद्र पर पुल बनाने) की आज्ञा देते हुए वानरों से कहा–’तुम सभी पर्वतों से पर्वत-खण्ड लेकर आओ, जिससे समुद्र पर पुल बनाया जा सके।’ भगवान श्रीराम की आज्ञा पाकर सभी वानरदल विभिन्न पर्वतों से विशाल पर्वत-खण्डों को लाने लगे। विश्वकर्मा के औरस पुत्र नल-नील नामक वानर उत्तम शिल्पकार थे। अत: उनकी देखरेख में पुल बनाया जाने लगा।
राम मंत्र तें शिला तिरानी।
पाथर कहा तिरै कहुं पानी।। (सुन्दर-ग्रन्थावली)
हनुमानजी वानरदल में सबसे अधिक बलशाली थे। वे पर्वत-खण्ड की खोज में द्रोणाचल के पुत्र के रूप में स्थित श्रीगोवर्धन पर्वत पर पहुंचे और उसे उठाने लगे। अत्यधिक परिश्रम करने पर भी वे गोवर्धन पर्वत को उठा नहीं सके। हनुमानजी को निराश देखकर पर्वतराज गोवर्धन ने कहा–‘हनुमान! यदि आप प्रतिज्ञा करें कि भक्तवत्सल भगवान श्रीराम के दर्शन करा देंगे तो मैं आपके साथ चलने को तैयार हूँ।’
यह सुनकर हनुमानजी ने कहा–‘पर्वतराज गोवर्धन! मैं आपको विश्वास दिलाता हूँ कि आप मेरे साथ चलने पर श्रीराम के दर्शन कर सकेंगे।’ हनुमानजी द्वारा श्रीराम के दर्शनों का प्रलोभन देने पर पर्वतराज गोवर्धन उनके करकमलों में सुशोभित होकर चल दिए। जिस समय हनुमानजी पर्वतराज को लेकर व्रजभूमि के ऊपर से आ रहे थे, उस समय समुद्र पर सेतु बांधने का कार्य पूरा हो गया और देववाणी हुई–‘समुद्र पर सेतु बन गया है, वानर अब और पर्वत-खण्ड न लाएं, जो जहां पर है, वह वहीं पर पर्वत-खण्डों को रख दें और तुरन्त वापिस आ जाएं।।’
भगवान की आज्ञा मिलते ही सभी वानरों ने जहां-के-तहां पर्वत-खण्डों को रख दिया। भगवान की आज्ञा पालन करते हुए विवश होकर हनुमानजी ने भी पर्वतराज गोवर्धन को व्रजभूमि पर रख दिया।
हनुमानजी का पर्वतराज गोवर्धन को वचन देना
इससे हरिभक्त श्रीगोवर्धन अत्यन्त उदास हो गए। उन्होंने हनुमानजी से कहा–‘आपने तो विश्वास दिलाया था कि मुझे श्रीराम के दर्शन कराओगे, पर आप तो मुझे यहीं पर छोड़कर चले जाना चाहते हैं। अब मैं पतितपावन श्रीराम का दर्शन कैसे कर सकूंगा। आपने मुझे भगवान के चरणचिह्नों के दर्शन से वंचित किया है, अत: मैं आपको शाप दे दूंगा।’
हनुमानजी ने श्रीराम के संकेत पर पर्वतराज को दिलासा देते हुए कहा–’गिरिवर आप निराश न हों और मुझे क्षमा करें। द्वापरयुग के अंत में श्रीकृष्ण अवतार होगा, वे ही आपकी इच्छा पूर्ति करेंगे। जब इन्द्र की पूजा का खण्डन करके भगवान श्रीकृष्ण आपकी पूजा करवाएंगे तो इन्द्र कुपित होकर व्रज में उत्पात करने लगेगा। उस समय आप व्रजवासियों के रक्षक होंगे। मैं श्रीरामजी के पास जाकर विनती करुंगा। दीनबन्धु श्रीराम आपको दर्शन अवश्य देंगे।’
व्यापक अकल अनीह अज निर्गुन नाम न रूप।
भगत हेतु नाना बिधि करत चरित्र अनूप।। (रा च मा १।२०५)
भक्त के वश में हैं भगवान!!!!!!!
भक्त और भगवान सनातन प्रेमी हैं। भक्त भगवान के बिना नहीं रह सकता और भगवान भक्त के बिना नहीं रह सकते। भगवान तो भक्तों के वश में हैं। वे भक्तों के लिए अवतरित होते हैं और वैसी ही लीला करते हैं। प्रेम के अलावा किसी अन्य उपाय से भगवान को प्राप्त नहीं किया जा सकता–’प्रेम तें प्रगट होंहि मैं जाना।’
हनुमानजी के मन में पूर्ण विश्वास था कि उनके आराध्य श्रीराम अपने भक्त की प्रतिज्ञा अवश्य पूरी करेंगे। अत: वे वहां से चल दिए और रामदल में आकर श्रीरामजी से अपनी ‘प्रतिज्ञा’ और गिरिराजजी की ‘व्यथा’ निवेदन की।
भगवान ने भक्त के वचन को पूरा किया
‘भगत हेतु अवतरहिं गोसाईं’ (गोस्वामी तुलसीदासजी)
भगवान श्रीराम ने कहा–’हनुमान! आप अभी पर्वतराज से जाकर कहिए कि वे निराश न हों। द्वापरयुग में श्रीकृष्णरूप में उन्हें मेरा दर्शन होगा। सेतुबंध हेतु लाए गए ये सब पर्वत मेरे चरण-स्पर्श से मुक्त हो गए, परन्तु अगले अवतार (श्रीकृष्णावतार) में मैं गोवर्धनगिरिराज को अपने सिर-माथे पर धारण करुंगा और अपने सर्वांगस्पर्श से उन्हें पवित्र करुंगा। स्वयं उनकी पूजा कर उन्हें जगत में परम पूज्य पद प्रदान करुंगा। मैं वसुदेव के कुल में जन्म लेकर व्रज में विविध लीला करुंगा तथा गोवर्धन के ऊपर गौचारण, गोपियों के संग अद्भुत विलास से उसे हरिदासों में श्रेष्ठ बना दूंगा। व्रज में गोवर्धन मेरी लीलाओं के परम सहायक के रूप में प्रसिद्ध होगा।’
हनुमानजी तुरन्त ही पर्वतराज गोवर्धन के पास गए और उन्हें श्रीराम का संदेश सुनाया। उसे सुनकर वे प्रेम से गद्गद् हो गए।
भगत हेतु भगवान प्रभु राम धरेउ तनु भूप।
किए चरित पावन परम प्राकृत नर अनुरूप।।
जथा अनेक वेष धरि नृत्य करइ नट कोइ।
सोइ सोइ भाव देखावइ आपुन होइ न सोइ।।
श्रीरामचरितमानस के (७।७२, ७।७३।१) में काकभुशुण्डिजी पक्षीराज गरुड़ से कहते हैं कि भगवान श्रीराम भक्तों के लिए नृप शरीर धारण किया और मनुष्यों की तरह अनेक चरित्र किए। जैसे कोइ नट अनेक वेष रच कर उसी के अनुकूल भाव दिखाता है। परन्तु वह स्वयं नट ही रहता है।
त्रेता में अवधबिहारी द्वापर भए श्रीकृष्णमुरारी
भगवान जब मानवता के अंदर प्रत्यक्ष रूप में उतर आते हैं और मनुष्य के ढांचे को पहन लेते हैं, तब वह अवतार कहलाता है। (श्रीअरविन्द)
द्वापर युग के अंत में धर्म की स्थापना, अधर्म का नाश, साधुओं की रक्षा एवं दुष्टों का दमन करने के लिंए भगवान श्रीकृष्ण ने व्रज में अवतार लिया। एक समय देवताओं के राजा इन्द्र ने व्रजवासियों द्वारा अपनी पूजा न किए जाने पर क्रोधातुर हो व्रज को समूल नष्ट करने का विचार किया। इन्द्र ने मेघों को आज्ञा दी कि ‘आप व्रज में जाकर समस्त व्रजभूमि को वर्षा द्वारा नष्ट कर दो।’ मेघ इन्द्र की आज्ञा मानकर व्रज पर मूसलाधार जल बरसाने लगे।
अतिवृष्टि से व्रज में हाहाकार मच गया। समस्त व्रजवासी इन्द्र के कोप से भयभीत होकर नन्दबाबा के घर की ओर दौड़े। भगवान श्रीकृष्ण ने कहा–’व्रजवासियो! धैर्य धारण करो, इन्द्र का कोप तुम्हारा कुछ न कर सकेगा। भगवान श्रीकृष्ण गोप-गोपियों और गायों के साथ गोवर्धन की ओर चल दिए। भगवान श्रीकृष्ण ने पर्वतराज गोवर्धन को दर्शन देकर कनिष्ठा अंगुली पर गिरिगोवर्धन को धारण कर समस्त व्रजवासियों का भय हर लिया।
इस प्रकार भगवान ने अपने ‘वचन’ और अपने सेवक हनुमान की ‘प्रतिज्ञा’ पूरी की।
श्रीगोवर्धनगिरिराज ने जब श्रीकृष्ण-बलराम का दर्शन किया तो उनकी जन्म-जन्म की साधना सफल हो गयी। उन्होंने श्रीकृष्ण का दर्शन कर अपने को कृतार्थ माना और अपना सर्वस्व श्रीकृष्ण के चरणारविन्दों में समर्पित कर दिया। उन्होंने सब प्रकार से श्रीकृष्णसेवा कर उनका मन हर लिया। व्रजगोपियों ने उन्हें ‘हरिदास-वर्य’ की पदवी प्रदान की।
सृष्टि के अभीष्ट फल देवे कूं तैसों तहां
इष्ट गिरजि सब देवन को टीकौ है।
राजै गिरि कन्दरा विराजै जहां श्यामाश्याम,
गोवरधन धाम परम धाम हूं सौ नीकौ है।।
श्रीगिरिराजजी की तलहटी और कन्दराओं में भगवान श्रीकृष्ण और श्रीराधाजी के विहारस्थल रहे हैं। अत: इस भूमि का विशेष महत्त्व है–
गिरिराज की जो है महामहिमा,
वह तो तुम श्री गिरिधारी से पूछो।
प्रेम के तत्त्व परतत्त्वन को नहिं,
कृष्णसों, राधिका प्यारी से पूछो।।
श्रीमद्भागवत (१०।२१।१८) में लिखा है–‘यह गिरिराज गोवर्धन तो भगवान के भक्तों में बहुत ही श्रेष्ठ है। धन्य है इनके भाग्य! हमारे प्राणवल्लभ श्रीकृष्ण और नयनाभिराम बलराम के चरणकमलों का स्पर्श प्राप्त करके यह कितने आनन्दित रहते हैं। यह तो उन दोनों का तथा ग्वालबालों और गौओं का बड़ा ही सत्कार करते हैं। स्नान-पान के लिए झरनों का जल देते हैं, गौओं के लिए सुन्दर हरी-हरी घास, विश्राम के लिए कन्दराएं और खाने के लिए कन्द-मूल-फल देते हैं।’
नित गाय गुपाल गुवालन को, अपनी छवि सों हरषावते हैं,
सुख देके अनेकन भांतिन सों, सबको अपने में रमावते हैं।
अवनीस, मुनीस, गुनीस इन्हें, अवलोकि सदा सुख पावते हैं,
गिरिवर्य सदा सरसावते प्रेम, गुमानिन गर्व घटावते हैं।।

What is the relation between Hanumanji, Setu-Bandhan and Govardhan Parvat? ,
According to Varaha Purana, Lord Shri Ram, while ordering Setu-Bandhan (to build a bridge over the sea) to cross the sea to Lanka, said to the monkeys – ‘You bring mountain blocks from all the mountains, so that a bridge can be built over the sea. After getting the permission of Lord Shri Ram, all the monkeys started bringing huge mountain-blocks from different mountains. Vishvakarma’s auras’ son Nal-Nil was an excellent craftsman. Therefore, the bridge started being built under his supervision.

Hanumanji was the most powerful of the monkeys. In search of the mountain-block, he reached Shri Govardhan mountain situated in the form of the son of Dronachal and started lifting it. He could not lift the Govardhan mountain even after working hard. Seeing Hanuman ji disappointed, Parvatraj Govardhan said – ‘Hanuman! If you take a pledge that Bhaktavatsal will make Lord Shri Ram have darshan, then I am ready to go with you.
Hearing this, Hanumanji said- ‘Parvatraj Govardhan! I assure you that you will be able to have darshan of Shri Ram if you walk with me. On being tempted by Hanumanji to have darshan of Shri Ram, Parvatraj Govardhan walked away adorned in his lotus feet. At the time when Hanumanji was coming from above Vrajbhoomi carrying the mountain king, at that time the work of tying the bridge on the sea was completed and the deity came – ‘The bridge has been built on the sea, don’t bring the monkeys any more mountain-block, which is where it is. Let them keep the mountain blocks there and come back immediately.’
As soon as God’s permission was received, all the monkeys kept the mountain-blocks everywhere. Being compelled to obey the Lord’s orders, Hanumanji also placed the mountain king Govardhan on Vrajbhoomi. Hanuman’s promise to Parvatraj Govardhan Due to this Haribhakta Shri Govardhan became very sad. He said to Hanumanji- ‘You had assured me that you would make me have darshan of Shri Ram, but you want to leave me here and go away. Now how will I be able to have darshan of Patit Pavan Shri Ram? You have denied me the sight of the footprints of the Lord, so I will curse you.’
On the signal of Shri Ram, Hanumanji comforted the mountain king and said – Girivar, do not be discouraged and forgive me. At the end of Dwapara Yuga, Shri Krishna will incarnate, He will fulfill your wish. When Lord Krishna makes you worship by refuting the worship of Indra, then Indra will get angry and start creating havoc in Vraj. At that time you will be the protector of the people of Vraja. I will go to Shri Ramji and make a request. Deenbandhu Shri Ram will definitely give you darshan.

God is in the control of the devotee!!!!!!!
Devotees and God are eternal lovers. The devotee cannot live without the Lord and the Lord cannot live without the devotee. God is in the control of the devotees. He incarnates for the devotees and performs the same leela. God cannot be attained by any means other than love – ‘Let me manifest in love.’
Hanumanji had full faith in his mind that his beloved Shri Ram would definitely fulfill the promise of his devotee. So he left from there and came to Ram Dal and requested Shri Ramji for his ‘promise’ and Girirajji’s ‘sadness’.
God fulfilled the promise of the devotee ‘Avatarhim Gosain for Bhagat’ (Goswami Tulsidasji)
Lord Shri Ram said – ‘Hanuman! You go to the mountain king now and tell him not to be disappointed. He will have my darshan in the form of Shri Krishna in Dwaparyug. All these mountains brought for the bridge were freed from the touch of my feet, but in the next incarnation (Shri Krishna incarnation) I would wear Govardhangiriraja on my head and sanctify them with my universal touch. By worshiping him myself, I will give him the most revered position in the world. By taking birth in the clan of Vasudeva, I will perform various leela in Vraja and with the wonderful luxuries of cow-carrying on Govardhan, with the gopis, I will make him the best among the Haridasas. In Vraj, Govardhan will be famous as the ultimate helper of my pastimes.’
Hanumanji immediately went to Parvatraj Govardhan and narrated the message of Shri Ram to him. Hearing her, he fell in love with her.
For the sake of the devotee, Lord Rama held the body of the king. done character holy supreme natural man according. as an actor dances in many disguises. Soi soi bhav dekhavai apun hoi na soi।।
In Shri Ramcharitmanas (7.72, 7.73.1), Kakbhushundiji tells the bird king Garuda that Lord Shri Ram took on a formless body for the devotees and performed many characters like human beings. Just like a nut shows its favorable mood by creating many disguises. But he himself remains a nut.

At the end of Dwapar Yuga, Lord Krishna incarnated in Vraj to establish religion, destroy unrighteousness, protect the sages and suppress the wicked. At one time Indra, the king of the gods, thought of destroying Vraj completely after being angry at the people of Vraj for not worshiping him. Indra ordered the clouds that ‘you go to Vraj and destroy all Vrajbhoomi with rain.’
There was an outcry in Vraj due to excessive rain. All the people of Vraja, frightened by the wrath of Indra, ran towards Nanda Baba’s house. Lord Shri Krishna said – ‘Vrajavasis! Be patient, Indra’s wrath will not be able to do anything for you. Lord Shri Krishna walked towards Govardhan with the gopas and cows. Lord Shri Krishna took away the fear of all the people of Vraja by wearing Girigovardhan on the little finger of Parvatraj Govardhan.
Thus the Lord fulfilled his ‘Vachan’ and the ‘Pratya’ of His servant Hanuman.
When Shri Govardhangiriraj had darshan of Shri Krishna-Balram, his birth-birth sadhna became successful. He considered himself grateful after seeing Shri Krishna and dedicated his whole life to the feet of Shri Krishna. He took away his mind by serving Shri Krishna in every way. Vrajgopis bestowed upon him the title of ‘Haridas-varya’.
The desired fruits of the creation should be given there anyway. Ishta Girji is a blessing to all the gods. Rajai Giri Kandra Virajai Jahan Shyamashyam, Govardhan dham is the supreme dham, hundred nicu.
In the foothills and caves of Shrigirirajji, there have been places for Lord Shri Krishna and Shri Radhaji. Therefore, this land has special importance-
The majesty of Giriraj, That is what you ask Shri Giridhari. The elements of love are not the metaphysics, Krishnasons, ask Radhika Pyari.
It is written in Shrimad Bhagavatam (10.21.18) – ‘This Giriraj Govardhan is the most excellent among the devotees of the Lord. Blessed is their fate! How happy they are to receive the touch of the lotus feet of our soul-valley Shri Krishna and the panoramic Balarama. He treats both of them and the cowherds and the cows with great respect. They give water from springs for bathing, beautiful green grass for cows, tubers for rest and tubers-root-fruits to eat.
Nite cow to Gupal Guvalan, he is proud of his image, By giving happiness, they sleep in many different ways, they make everyone happy in themselves. Avnis, Munis, Gunees these, Avaloki always get happiness, Girivarya always decreases love and pride.
