महादेव का वह मंदिर जहाँ पर मृत व्यक्ति
भी कुछ समय के लिए जीवित होता है-

महामंडेस्वर महादेव जिनका मंदिर है देहरादून से
128 km दूर लाखामंडल नामक स्थान पर–

लाखामंडल नाम दो शब्दों से बना है, लाखा अर्थात बहुत सारे और मंडल अर्थात वह स्थान जहाँ बहुत सारे लिंगम और मूर्तियां हों।

भगवान शिव को समर्पित यह मंदिर नगर शैली में बना हुआ है। माना जाता है कि लाखामंडल में स्थित मुख्य शिव मंदिर का निर्माण बारहवीं-तेरहवीं शताब्दी में हुआ था। लेकिन मंदिर परिसर में ही प्राप्त छठी शताब्दी के एक अभिलेख के अनुसार मंदिर का निर्माण सिंहपुर राजघराने की राजकुमारी ईश्वरा ने करवाया था।

यह वही स्थान है जहाँ पर पांडवो को लाखामहल बनवा कर कौरवों ने आग लगा कर मारने की कोशिश की थी और वह एक सुरंग से बाहर निकल कर चले गए थे इसी के कारण इस स्थान का नाम लाखामंडल पडा यहा से निकल कर पांडवो ने जो मंदिर बनाया था यह बही मंदिर है और महादेव की स्थापना यहा पर युधिष्ठिर ने की थी —
यहाँ पर शिव लिंग के सामने दो मूर्ती खडी हुई है जिन मे से एक का हाथ नहीं है ऐसा क्यो यह अभी तक रहस्य है-

पर यहा का जो सबसे बडा रहस्य जो है जिससे समस्त मैडिकल टीम और वैज्ञानिक अचरज में है वह है किसी भी मृत व्यक्ति का यहा पर जिन्दा हो जाना -जब किसी मृत व्यक्ति के शरीर को शिव लिंग और पुतलों के पास रख कर जब मंदिर के पुजारी पवित्र गंगा जल मृत शरीर पर छिड़कते हैं तो बह आदमी जिन्दा हो जाता है और ईश्वर का नाम लेता है ।

फिर पुजारी उस के मुह मे गंगा जल डालते है उसके बाद उस का शरीर फिर से मृत हो जाता है यहा तक अगर मंदिर के सामने से अगर किसी मृत व्यक्ति को ले जाया जाता है तो मंदिर के सामने पहुचने पर उसके शरीर मे भी हलचल होती है जिन लोगों को यह इन बातो पर विश्वास नहीं होता बह लोग भी और वैज्ञानिक भी यह सब चमत्कार अपनी आखों से देखने जाते हैं और जब बह सब अपनी आखों के सामने देखते हैं तो अचरज में पड़ जाते है कि आखिर ऐसा कैसे संभव होता है।और इस के अलावा जिस के यहाँ संतान नहीं होती बह मनोकामना मे यहाँ पर पूरी होती हैं।

लाखामंडल में बने इस शिवलिंग की एक अन्य खासियत यह है कि जब भी कोई व्यक्ति इस शिवलिंग का जलाभिषेक करता है तो उसे इसमें अपने चेहरे की आकृति स्पष्ट नजर आती है। || हर हर महादेव |

Mahamandeswar Mahadev whose temple is from Dehradun 128 km away at a place called Lakhamandal-

The name Lakhamandal is derived from two words, Lakha meaning many and Mandala meaning the place where there are many lingams and idols.

This temple dedicated to Lord Shiva is built in the city style. The main Shiva temple at Lakhamandal is believed to have been built in the twelfth-thirteenth centuries. But according to a 6th century inscription found in the temple premises itself, the temple was built by Princess Ishwara of the Singhpur royal family.

This is the same place where the Kauravas tried to kill the Pandavas by setting them on fire by building a Lakhamahal and they went out of a tunnel, due to which this place got its name Lakhamandal. This is Bahi temple and Mahadev was established here by Yudhishthira — Here two idols are standing in front of Shiva Linga, out of which one has no hand, why is it still a mystery-

But the biggest mystery of this place, from which the entire medical team and scientists are in awe, is that any dead person becomes alive here – when the priest of the temple keeps the body of a dead person near the Shiva Linga and the effigies. Holy Ganga water is sprinkled on a dead body, then the person becomes alive and takes the name of God.

Then the priest pours Ganges water in his mouth, after that his body becomes dead again, even if a dead person is taken from the front of the temple, then on reaching in front of the temple, there is movement in his body too. Those who do not believe in these things, even people and scientists go to see all these miracles with their own eyes and when everyone sees them in front of their own eyes, they wonder how this is possible. Apart from this, those who do not have children here, their wishes are fulfilled here.

Another specialty of this Shivling made in Lakha Mandal is that whenever a person does Jalabhishek of this Shivling, he can clearly see the shape of his face in it. , Har Har Mahadev |
