Blessed is sacred Vraja’s land
Since the day You were born, O Krishna divine.
Fortune herself forever dwells here,
Yet our restless hearts search only for You.
O beloved, Your lotus eyes
Outshine the beauty of autumn flowers.
We are Your humble maidens of love,
Bound to You without price or condition.
From poison’s depths and demon’s rage,
From storm and lightning’s burning fire,
Again and again You saved our lives,
O protector of the helpless hearts.
You are not only the joy of the gopis,
You are the soul within every being.
For the protection of the universe
You appeared among the Yadus in grace.
Place upon our heads, dear Lord,
Your gentle lotus hand of blessing.
That sacred touch removes all fear
And fills our lives with divine peace.
Your smile wipes away Vraja’s sorrow,
Your glance melts the pride of the heart.
O beloved friend, show us once more
Your enchanting lotus face.
Those tender feet that roam with cows,
That danced upon the serpent’s crown—
Place them upon our aching hearts
And calm the fire of longing within.
Your sweet voice flows like nectar,
Your words charm even the wise.
O lotus-eyed Lord, revive our souls
With the sweetness of Your divine lips.
The nectar of Your sacred stories
Is life for the suffering soul.
The wise sing them, sins disappear,
And blessings fill the world with joy.
Your laughter, Your loving glances,
Your secret words remembered deep—
These memories awaken waves of love
That never allow our hearts to sleep.
When You walk through forest paths
Driving cows across stones and grass,
Our hearts tremble with gentle pain
Thinking of Your tender feet.
At evening when You return to Vraja
Dust resting on Your curling hair,
Your moonlike face awakens love
That floods our hearts beyond control.
O Krishna, nectar of Your lips
Destroys all sorrow and awakens love.
Your flute has tasted that sweetness first—
Grant us that immortal bliss.
When You wander in forests by day
A moment becomes an endless age.
Without Your vision, beloved Lord,
Time itself dissolves in longing.
Leaving home, family, and worldly ties
Drawn by the music of Your flute,
We came to You in the silent night—
How could we ever leave You now?
Your smile, Your glance, Your radiant form
Enchant our hearts again and again.
In the ocean of Your divine beauty
Our souls lose themselves forever.
Your presence in Vraja blesses the world
And destroys the sorrow of every heart.
Do not abandon us now, O Lord—
For our lives belong only to You.
Your lotus feet are soft as petals
We hold them gently upon our hearts.
Yet when You walk barefoot in forests,
Our minds tremble with loving fear
Blessed is the land of Vraja
Since Your divine birth, O Krishna.
Lakshmi forever dwells here in grace,
Yet we wander through every direction,
Searching only for Your beloved face.
Your autumn-lotus eyes steal the beauty
Of every blooming flower in sight.
O Lord of love, we are Your servants,
Bound to You without price or right.
If You hide Yourself from us now,
Is this not our silent death tonight?
From poison, demons, storm and fire,
From thunder’s rage and dangers untold,
Again and again You protected us,
O mighty Lord, compassionate and bold.
You are not merely a Gopi’s child,
But the soul within every living heart.
To guard the world You descended here,
In the noble Yadu line to take Your part.
Place upon our heads, beloved Krishna,
Your lotus hand so gentle and bright.
That touch removes the fear of existence
And fills the soul with sacred light.
Your smile dissolves the sorrow of Vraja,
Your glance breaks pride and heals the soul.
O friend, reveal Your lotus face—
The beauty that makes the broken whole.
Those sacred feet that follow the cows,
That danced upon Kaliya’s serpent crown—
Let them rest upon our longing hearts
And calm the burning pain we drown.
Your voice is sweeter than nectar’s stream,
Your playful words enchant the wise.
O lotus-eyed Lord, give us life
With the nectar flowing from Your lips divine.
The nectar of Your stories, O Krishna,
Is life for hearts in burning pain.
Sages sing them, sins are washed,
And blessings shower like gentle rain.
Your laughter, Your loving glances,
Your secret words remembered deep—
These memories stir our restless hearts
And steal the peace we try to keep.
When You wander through forest paths
Driving the cows through grass and stone,
Our hearts tremble with tender fear—
For Your soft lotus feet alone.
At dusk when You return from woods
With dust upon Your curling hair,
Your moonlike face awakens love
Beyond what mortal hearts can bear.
O Krishna, nectar of Your lips
Awakens love and ends all sorrow.
Your flute has tasted that sweetness first—
Grant us that bliss we seek tomorrow.
When You go to the forest by day,
A moment stretches into endless years.
Without Your sight, O beloved Lord,
Time itself dissolves in tears.
Leaving home, family, and worldly ties,
Drawn by the music of Your flute at night,
How could we ever abandon You,
Once we have touched Your love’s pure light?
Your smile, Your glance, Your mighty chest—
Each vision deepens love’s sweet fire.
Again and again our hearts surrender,
Lost in devotion and divine desire.
Your presence in Vraja blesses the world
And destroys the weight of every sin.
Do not abandon us now, O Lord—
For our souls belong to You within.
Your lotus feet are tender, beloved,
We place them gently upon our hearts.
Yet when You wander barefoot in forests,
The thought alone our peace departs.
