The Light of Devotion
Devotion is a divine light that removes the darkness from a person’s life. When true love and faith for God awaken in the heart, the light of devotion begins to spread from within. This light eliminates doubts, ego, and attachment from the mind, filling the soul with supreme peace and bliss.
In this world, a person seeks many kinds of pleasures and resources, but until the light of devotion enters their life, true contentment cannot be attained. Just as everything becomes visible when a lamp is lit in darkness, similarly, when the lamp of devotion is ignited, the path of life becomes clear.
The saints and devotees of Vrindavan have always said that when the remembrance of Shri Radha-Krishna arises in the heart, the flame of devotion is kindled. This light not only transforms an individual’s life but also makes the surrounding environment pure and joyful. In a heart filled with devotion, compassion, love, and humility naturally manifest.
The scriptures also state that chanting and remembering the name of God is the simplest path of devotion. When a devotee lovingly chants “Radhe-Krishna,” the divine light of devotion awakens within, gradually bringing them closer to God.
Ultimately, it is said that the light of devotion is the true guide of life. This light leads a person away from the illusions of the world towards the ultimate truth. When this divine light manifests in the heart, life becomes pure, peaceful, and filled with bliss.

भक्ति का प्रकाश

भक्ति वह दिव्य ज्योति है जो मनुष्य के जीवन के अंधकार को दूर कर देती है। जब हृदय में भगवान के प्रति सच्चा प्रेम और श्रद्धा जागृत होती है, तब भक्ति का प्रकाश भीतर ही भीतर फैलने लगता है। यह प्रकाश मन के संशय, अहंकार और मोह को मिटाकर आत्मा को परम शांति और आनंद से भर देता है।संसार में मनुष्य अनेक प्रकार के सुख और साधनों की खोज करता है, परंतु जब तक उसके जीवन में भक्ति का प्रकाश नहीं होता, तब तक उसे सच्चा संतोष प्राप्त नहीं होता। जैसे अंधकार में दीपक जलते ही सब कुछ स्पष्ट दिखाई देने लगता है, वैसे ही भक्ति का दीपक प्रज्वलित होते ही जीवन का मार्ग भी स्पष्ट हो जाता है।

वृन्दावन के संत और भक्तजन सदैव यही कहते आए हैं कि जब हृदय में श्रीराधा-कृष्ण का स्मरण होता है, तब भक्ति की ज्योति प्रज्वलित होती है। यह ज्योति केवल एक व्यक्ति के जीवन को ही नहीं, बल्कि उसके आसपास के वातावरण को भी पवित्र और आनंदमय बना देती है। जिस हृदय में भक्ति का प्रकाश होता है, वहाँ करुणा, प्रेम और विनम्रता अपने आप प्रकट होने लगते हैं।

शास्त्रों में भी कहा गया है कि भगवान का नाम और उनका स्मरण ही भक्ति का सबसे सरल मार्ग है। जब कोई भक्त प्रेमपूर्वक “राधे-कृष्ण” का नाम जपता है, तब उसके भीतर भक्ति की वह ज्योति जागृत होती है जो उसे धीरे-धीरे भगवान के निकट ले जाती है।अंततः यही कहा गया है कि भक्ति का प्रकाश ही जीवन का सच्चा मार्गदर्शक है। यह प्रकाश मनुष्य को संसार के भ्रम से निकालकर परम सत्य की ओर ले जाता है। जब यह दिव्य प्रकाश हृदय में प्रकट होता है, तब मनुष्य का जीवन पवित्र, शांत और आनंदमय बन जाता है।
