श्रीमद्भागवत जी मे वर्णन आता हैं की जब सुदामा जी महाराज ठाकुर जी से मिलने के लिए जाते हैं तो बहुत प्यारी बात कहते हैं,, सुदामा जी कहते हैं की अयं हि परमो लाभ उत्तमश्लोकदर्शनं अर्थात् ये मेरे जीवन का परम लाभ है की मै अपने मित्र का दर्शन करने जा रहा हूं– अर्थात् जब हर ईंद्री भगवान के सन्मुख हो जाए तभी जीवन का परम लाभ है,, जब इन नेत्रो के सामने भगवान रहें,, इन कानो से कथा सुनें,, हाथो से संत सेवा हो,, पांव से परिक्रमा आदि हो,, मुख से नाम जपें,, तभी जीवन का परम लाभ है– गोपियां वेणुगीत मे कहती हैं की अक्ष्णवतां फलमिदं न परम् विदाम:– अर्थात् इन आंखो को पाने का लाभ यही हैं की इन नेत्रो के सामने श्रीकृष्ण हों– इसलिए जब भी मंदिर मे हम श्यामाश्याम के दर्शन करें तो यही भाव रखें की यही जीवन का परम लाभ है,,क्योकि वो हमे देख रहे हैं ओर हम उनको देख रहे हैं–
It is described in Shrimad Bhagwat ji that when Sudama ji goes to meet Maharaj Thakur ji, he says a very sweet thing, Sudama ji says that Ayam Hi Paramo Labh Uttamshlokadarshanam i.e. it is the ultimate benefit of my life that I have the darshan of my friend. I am going to do it – that is, when every sense becomes in front of God, only then there is the ultimate benefit of life, when God is in front of these eyes, listen to the story with these ears, serve a saint with hands, circumambulate with feet, etc. Chant the name, only then is the ultimate benefit of life– Gopis say in Venugite that Akshanavtam Phalmidam Na Param Vidamah–that is, the benefit of having these eyes is that Sri Krishna is in front of these eyes– so whenever we go to the temple by Shyamashyam If you have darshan, keep this feeling that this is the ultimate benefit of life, because they are looking at us and we are seeing them.
