योगिनी एकादशी व्रत की हार्दिक शुभकामनाएं..!
आज योगिनी एकादशी है। योगिनी एकादशी का बहुत खास महत्व है। ऐसी मान्यता है, कि इस व्रत को करने से जीवन में किए गए समस्त पापों का नाश हो जाता है और हमेशा सुख समृद्धि बनी रहती हैं।
योगिनी एकादशी का व्रत हर साल आषाढ़ माह के कृष्ण पक्ष की एकादशी तिथि को रखा जाता है।
पौराणिक कहानी-
पौराणिक कथा के अनुसार स्वर्ग लोक में अलकापुरी नगरी में एक कुबेर नाम का राजा रहता था। वह भोलेनाथ का बहुत बड़ा भक्त था। वह भोलेनाथ की रोजाना श्रद्धा पूर्वक पूजा करता था। कुबेर की पूजा में हिना नाम का एक माली उसे फूल दिया करता था। एक दिन माली राजा को फूल नहीं दे पाया।
दोपहर तक माली का इंतजार करने के बाद राजा ने अपने सैनिकों को माली के न आने का कारण पता लगाने को कहा। जब राजा के सैनिक ने माली के न आने की वजह बताई, तो राजा आग बबूला हो गया और उसने माली को बुलाया।
माली के आने पर राजा ने कहा तुमने मेरे पूजनीय भगवान शिव का अनादर किया है। इसलिए मैं तुम्हें श्राप देता हूं, कि तुम्हें स्त्री का वियोग सहना पड़ेगा और मृत्युलोक में जाकर तू कोढ़ी हो जाएगा। राजा के ऐसा कहने पर माली स्वर्ग से पृथ्वी पर आ गया और वह कोढ़ी का जीवन व्यतित करने लगा।
माली की पत्नी हेम माली भी भिखारिन की तरह जीवन व्यतीत करने लगीं। माली को भी अपनी पत्नी की याद सतानें लगीं। लेकिन श्राप की वजह से वह अपने दूख को कम नहीं कर पाया। एक दिन की बात हैं। माली घूमते-घूमते मार्कंडेय ऋषि के आश्रम में आ गया। ऋषि ने माली की ऐसी दुर्दशा देखकर उससे ऐसा होने का कारण पूछा।
तब माली ने ऋषि को सारी बात बताईं। पूरी बात सुननें के बाद ऋषि मार्कंडेय ने माली को भगवान विष्णु के योगिनी एकादशी व्रत को करने को कहा। तब उसने ऋषि की आज्ञा से विधि-विधान से आषाढ़ माह के कृष्ण पक्ष की एकादशी तिथि को योगिनी एकादशी का व्रत रखा।
व्रत के प्रभाव से माली श्राप से मुक्त होकर पुनः स्वर्ग लोक जाकर अपनी पत्नी के साथ सुखी जीवन व्यतीत करने लगा और उसका कोढ़ भी हमेशा के लिए खत्म हो गया।

The fast of Yogini Ekadashi is observed every year on the Ekadashi date of the Krishna Paksha of the month of Ashada.

According to the legend, there lived a king named Kuber in the city of Alkapuri in heaven. He was a great devotee of Bholenath. He used to worship Bholenath daily with devotion. A gardener named Hina used to give flowers to Kuber in his worship. One day the gardener could not give flowers to the king.
After waiting for the gardener till noon, the king asked his soldiers to find out the reason for the gardener’s absence. When the king’s soldier told the reason for the gardener’s absence, the king became enraged and called the gardener.
On the arrival of the gardener, the king said that you have disrespected my revered Lord Shiva. That’s why I curse you, that you will have to bear the separation of the woman and you will become a leper after going to the land of death. On the saying of the king, the gardener came from heaven to earth and started living the life of a leper.
Mali’s wife Hem Mali also started living like a beggar. The gardener also started thinking of his wife. But because of the curse, he could not reduce his sorrow. It is a matter of one day. The gardener came to the hermitage of sage Markandeya while roaming around. Seeing such plight of the gardener, the sage asked him the reason for this happening.
Then the gardener told the whole thing to the sage. After listening to the whole thing, sage Markandeya asked the gardener to perform the Yogini Ekadashi fast of Lord Vishnu. Then by the order of the sage, he kept the fast of Yogini Ekadashi on the Ekadashi date of the Krishna Paksha of the month of Ashadha.
Due to the effect of fasting, the gardener got free from the curse and went back to heaven and started living a happy life with his wife and his leprosy also ended forever.
