महान कौन है

अमृत कथा
एक महान विद्वान से मिलने के लिये एक दिन राजा आये। राजा ने विद्वान से पूछा, ‘क्या इस दुनिया में ऐसा कोई व्यक्ति है जो बहुत महान हो लेकिन उसे दुनिया वाले नहीं जानते हो?’ विद्वान ने राजा से विनम्र भाव से मुस्कुराते हुये कहा, ‘हम दुनिया के ज्यादातर महान लोगों को नहीं जानते हैं।’ दुनिया में ऐसे कई लोग हैं जो महान लोगों से भी कई गुना महान हैं।

राजा ने विद्वान से कहा, ‘ऐसे कैसे संभव है’। विद्वान ने कहा, मैं आपको ऐसे कई व्यक्तियों से मिलवाऊंगा। इतना कहकर विद्वान, राजा को लेकर एक गांव की ओर चल पड़े। रास्ते में कुछ दूरी पर पेड़ के नीचे एक बुढ़ा आदमी वहाँ उनको मिल गया। बुढ़े आदमी के पास एक पानी का घड़ा और कुछ डबल रोटी थी। विद्वान और राजा ने उससे मांगकर डबल रोटी खाई और पानी पिया।

जब राजा उस बूढ़े आदमी को डबल रोटी के दाम देने लगा तो वह आदमी बोला- महोदय, मैं कोई दुकानदार नहीं हूँ। मैं बस वही कर रहा हूँ जो मैं इस उम्र में करने योग्य हूँ। मेरे बेटे का डबल रोटी का व्यापार है, मेरा घर में मन नहीं लगता इसलिये राहगिरों को ठंडा पानी पिलाने और डबल रोटी खिलाने आ जाया करता हूँ। इससे मुझे बहुत खुशी मिलती है। विद्वान ने राजा को इशारा देते हुए कहा कि देखो राजन् इस बुढ़े आदमी की इतनी अच्छी सोच ही इसे महान बनाती है।

फिर इतना कहकर दोनों ने गाँव में प्रवेश किया तब उन्हें एक स्कूल नजर आया। स्कूल में उन्होंने एक शिक्षक से मुलाकात की और राजा ने उससे पूछा कि आप इतने विद्यार्थियों को पढ़ाते हैं तो आपको कितनी तनख्वाह मिलती है। उस शिक्षक ने राजा से कहा कि महाराज मैं तनख्वाह के लिये नहीं पढ़ा रहा हूँ, यहाँ कोई शिक्षक नहीं थे और विद्यार्थियों का भविष्य दाव पर था इस कारण मैं उन्हें मुफ्त में शिक्षा देने आ रहा हूँ। विद्वान ने राजा से कहा कि महाराज दूसरों के लिये जीने वाला भी बहुत ही महान होता है। और ऐसे कई लोग हैं जिनकी ऐसी महान सोच ही उन्हें महान से भी बड़ा महान बनाती हैं।

इसलिए राजन् अच्छी सोच आदमी का किस्मत निर्धारित करती है। इसलिए हमेशा अच्छी बातें ही सोचकर कार्य करें और महान बनें। आदमी बड़ी बातों से नहीं बल्कि अच्छी सोच व अच्छे कामों से महान माना जाता है।

शिक्षा:-
जीवन में कुछ प्राप्त करने के लिये और सफलता हासिल करने के लिये बड़ी बातों को ज्यादा महत्व देने के बजाय अच्छी सोच को ज्यादा महत्व देना चाहिये क्योंकि आपकी अच्छी सोच ही आपके कार्य को निर्धारित करती है.

Amrit Katha One day the king came to meet a great scholar. The king asked the scholar, ‘Is there any person in this world who is very great but is not known to the people of the world?’ The scholar smiled politely at the king and said, ‘We do not know most of the great people of the world.’ There are many people in the world who are many times greater than the great people. 🪯 The king said to the scholar, ‘How is this possible?’ The scholar said, I will introduce you to many such persons. Having said this, the scholars set out towards a village with the king. At some distance on the way, they met an old man under a tree. The old man had a water pitcher and some bread. The scholar and the king asked him to eat double bread and drink water. 🪯 When the king started giving the price of double roti to the old man, the man said – Sir, I am not a shopkeeper. I’m just doing what I’m capable of doing at this age. My son has a double roti business, I don’t feel like staying at home, that’s why I come to give cold water and double roti to the passersby. This makes me very happy. The scholar gave a signal to the king and said, Look, O king, it is the good thinking of this old man that makes him great. 🪯 Then after saying this, both of them entered the village and saw a school. In school he met a teacher and the king asked him how much salary do you get if you teach so many students. That teacher told the king that Maharaj, I am not teaching for salary, there were no teachers here and the future of the students was at stake, that is why I am coming to educate them for free. The scholar told the king that the one who lives for others is also very great. And there are many people whose great thinking makes them even greater than great. 🪯 Therefore, Rajan, good thinking determines a man’s destiny. Therefore, always work thinking good things and become great. A man is considered great not by big words but by good thoughts and good deeds. 🔥 Education:- To achieve something in life and achieve success, instead of giving more importance to big things, more importance should be given to good thinking because your good thinking determines your work.
