भगवान सूर्य के २१नामों का स्तोत्र

जो सूर्य के उदय और अस्तकाल में दोनों संध्याओं के समय इस स्तोत्र के द्वारा भगवान सूर्य की स्तुति करता है, वह सब पापों से मुक्त हो जाता है। यह स्तोत्र सब स्तुतियों का सारभूत है, और भगवान भास्कर के पवित्र, शुभ एवं गोपनीय नाम हैं।

विकर्तनो विवस्वांश्च मार्तण्डो भास्करो रविः।
लोक प्रकाशकः श्री माँल्लोक चक्षुर्मुहेश्वरः।।

लोकसाक्षी त्रिलोकेशः कर्ता हर्ता तमिस्रहा।
तपनस्तापनश्चैव शुचिः सप्ताश्ववाहनः।।

गभस्तिहस्तो ब्रह्मा च सर्वदेवनमस्कृतः।
एकविंशतिरित्येष स्तव इष्टः सदा रवेः।।
(ब्रह्मपुराण- ३१ / ३१ – ३३)

‘विकर्तन, विवस्वान, मार्तण्ड, भास्कर, रवि, लोकप्रकाशक, श्रीमान, लोकचक्षु, महेश्वर, लोकसाक्षी, त्रिलोकेश, कर्ता, हर्त्ता, तमिस्राहा, तपन, तापन, शुचि, सप्ताश्ववाहन, गभस्तिहस्त, ब्रह्मा और सर्वदेव नमस्कृत। इस प्रकार २१ नामों का यह स्तोत्र भगवान सूर्य को सदा प्रिय है।’

यह शरीर को निरोग बनाने वाला, धन की वृद्धि करने वाला और यश फैलाने वाला स्तोत्रराज है। इसकी तीनों लोकों में प्रसिद्धि है।

भगवान सूर्य के सान्निध्य में एक बार भी इसका जप करने से मानसिक, वाचिक, शारीरिक तथा कर्मजनित सब पाप नष्ट हो जाते हैं।

अतः यत्नपूर्वक संपूर्ण अभिलक्षित फलों को देने वाले भगवान सूर्य का इस स्तोत्र के द्वारा स्तवन करना चाहिए।

।। ॐ सूर्यदेवाय नमः ।।

One who praises Lord Surya through this hymn at the rising and setting of the Sun, both in the evening, becomes free from all sins. This stotra is the essence of all praises, and is the holy, auspicious and confidential name of Lord Bhaskar.

Vikartana and Vivasvan, Martanda, the sun and the sun. He is the illuminator of the worlds, the eye of the world, the Lord of the mouth.

He is the witness of the worlds, the Lord of the three worlds, the doer, the destroyer, the destroyer of darkness. Tapana and Tapana are pure and ride seven horses.

Gabhastihasta and Brahma are worshiped by all the gods. This twenty-one is always your favorite hymn to the sun. (Brahma Purana- 31/31-33)

‘Vikartan, Vivasvan, Martanda, Bhaskar, Ravi, Lokaprakashaka, Sriman, Lokachakshu, Maheshwara, Lokasakshi, Trilokesh, Karta, Hartta, Tamisraha, Tapan, Tapan, Shuchi, Saptasvavahana, Gabhastihasta, Brahma and Sarvadevas are worshipped. Thus this hymn of 21 names is always dear to Lord Surya.

This is the Stotraraj that makes the body healthy, increases wealth and spreads fame. It has fame in all the three worlds.

By chanting it even once in the presence of Lord Surya, all the sins of mental, verbal, physical and karma are destroyed.

Therefore, the Lord Surya, who gives all desired fruits with effort, should be praised through this hymn.
