उद्यमका जादू

इटलीके क्रेसिन नामक किसानने अपने उद्योगके बदौलत इतनी अच्छी पैदावार की कि लोगोंको अत्यन्त आश्चर्य होने लगा। उन्होंने सोचा- निश्चय ही यह कोई जादू करता होगा।

उन्होंने न्यायालयमें इसकी अपील की। न्यायाधीशने वादीका बयान सुननेके बाद प्रतिवादी किसान क्रेसिनसे पूछा- ‘इसपर तुम्हारा क्या कहना है?’

क्रेसिनने अपनी एक हृष्ट-पुष्ट लड़की, अपने खेतीके औजार, बैल आदिको अदालतके समक्ष खड़ाकर कहा –

‘मैं खेत जोत और खाद डाल उसे अच्छा तैयार करता हूँ। मेरी लड़की बीज बोती और पानी आदि देकर खेतकी अच्छी देख-रेख करती है। इसी तरह मेरे औजार भी टूटे फूटे न होकर अच्छे काम लायक हैं। और मेरे बैल देखिये ।।कितनी लुभावनी जोड़ी है। मैं इन्हें खूब खिलाता-पिलाता, इनकी सेवा-शुश्रूषा करता हूँ। इसीलिये ये हमारे बैल | प्रदेशभर में ख्यातिप्राप्त और बेजोड़ हैं। मेरे खेतमें काफी पैदावार होनेमें ये जिस जादूका असर बताते हैं वह जादू इन्हींमें है। दावा करनेवाले चाहें तो इस जादूका उपयोग कर लें तब उन्हें मेरे इस कथनकी सत्यता प्रमाणित होगी।’

ये बातें सुनकर न्यायाधीशने कहा- ‘आजतक अनेक अपराधी मेरे सामने आये, पर अपनेपर किये गये अभियोगोंके निवारणार्थ इतने सबल प्रमाण किसीने भी उपस्थित नहीं किये। इसलिये इनकी जितनी प्रशंसा की जाय थोड़ी है।’

Due to his industry, a farmer named Cresin from Italy produced such a good yield that people were very surprised. They thought – Surely he must be doing some magic.
He appealed it in the court. After listening to the statement of the plaintiff, the judge asked the defendant farmer Krasin – ‘What do you have to say on this?’
Kresin, standing before the court with one of his stout girls, his farm implements, oxen etc. said –
‘I prepare the field well by plowing and applying manure. My daughter sows seeds and takes good care of the farm by giving water etc. Similarly, my tools are also fit for good work without being broken. And look at my bulls..what an adorable pairing. I feed them a lot, I take care of them. That’s why this is our bull. It is well known and unique in the state. The magic effect of which they tell in my farm that there is a lot of yield, that magic is in them. If the claimants use this magic if they wish, then the truth of my statement will be proved to them.
Hearing these things, the judge said- ‘Till date many criminals came before me, but no one presented such strong proofs to redress the allegations leveled against them. That’s why there is little to praise them.
Saying this the judge bade farewell to Krasinko
