वेदान्त कहता है – दृष्टा बनो, भोक्ता मत बनो…
स्वयं भोगने की वासना से मुक्त हो जाओ ।
वेदान्त कहता है – अगर भोगने की वासना रहेगी… तो फिर दुःख की शुरुआत हो गयी समझो… इसलिये दृष्टा बनो ।
रसोपासना कहती है – सुख भोगने की वासना को सर्वथा त्यागो ।
स्वयं को सुख मिले… किसी भी साधन से… ये भावना… आसुरी भावना है ।
“पहले भजन में… मानसिक अष्टयाम के चिन्तन में आनन्द आता था अब नही आता… ऐसा क्यों ?
एक प्रश्न ये भी मेरे पास में आया है कल ।
“हमें आनन्द मिले”… पहले तो इस भावना का सर्वथा त्याग करना आवश्यक है… आप अपने प्रिय को याद करो… या अपने प्रिय की सेवा करो…
“वो चाहे आपकी पुत्री हो, पुत्र हो, पति हो, या पत्नी… उनके लिये आप कुछ करते हो… तो क्या ये सोचते हो कि हमें आनन्द मिले ?”
फिर ठाकुर जी के भजन या सेवा में ये माँग क्यों उठती है आपके मन में ?
रसोपासना में स्वयं का सुख देखना ही नही है… ये बात स्पष्ट समझ लो आप… न भजन करने में… न ध्यान करने में… न ठाकुर जी की सेवा करने में… आनन्द आये या न आये… पर उन्हें अपना समय अपनी सेवा पूरी देनी है… और तन्मयता के साथ देनी है ।
“उनका हमें ख्याल रखना है”…पहले तो ये बात समझ लो ।
“हमें उनके सुख के लिये जीना है”… ये बात पहले स्पष्ट हो जाए ।
“हमें हृदय में दर्शन करना है उनके”… जैसे वेदान्त कहता है ना… दृष्टा बनो… देखो… ऐसे ही हमारी रसोपासना कहती है… अरे ! उन युगलवर को निहारो… तन्मय हो जाओ उनको निहारने में… निहारते समय ऐसा विचार करो कि… उनके बिना तुम्हारी कोई गति नही है… तुम्हें निकुञ्ज में ही जाना है… इसलिये युगलवर खड़े हैं… तुम्हारी प्रतीक्षा में…अनन्तकाल से… गलवैयाँ दिए… उन्हें देखो…और हाँ देखते हुए ये मत सोचो… कि हमें आनन्द आये… हमें सुख मिले… नही… बस उन्हें देखो…
फिर क्यों देखे ? जब आनन्द आये ये सोचना नही है तो ?
“इसलिये कि वही हैं तुम्हारे सर्वस”… कोई तुम्हारा अपना नही है ।
इसलिये उन्हें देखो…
अब देखो… कितनी अच्छी सुगन्ध आरही है… युगल के श्रीअंग से जो सुगन्ध निकल रही है… जैसे – गुलाब, बेला, कमल, इनको एक समान मात्रा में मिलाकर कोई इत्र तैयार की जाए…
कण्ठ से चरण तक माला लटक रही है… कमल की ।
मोर मुकुट लाल जु के शीश में… पर वो मुकुट झुक रही है… श्रीजी की ओर… और श्रीजी के मस्तक में चन्द्रिका… उसकी चमक से पूरा निकुञ्ज जगमगा रहा है… देखो ! बनो दृष्टा… बस स्वयं के सुख के भोक्ता मत बनो… आहा !
चलिये ! निकुञ्ज में…”निकुञ्ज भी हमारी प्रतीक्षा करता होगा”… मुझे तो लिखते हुए… मैं जब इतना डूब जाता हूँ… कभी कभी ऐसा लगने लगता है… कि “निकुञ्ज भी हमारी प्रतीक्षा करता होगा”… जय जय श्री राधे श्याम ! चलिये अब !🙏
सन्ध्या से पूर्वं – 4 बजे हैं…
सखियों ने बड़े प्रेम से जगाया है… युगलवर को ।
रसीले रंगीले दोनों “किशोर किशोरी” उठ कर बैठ गए हैं ।
सुमनासन है… फूलों का दिव्य आसन है… उस आसन पर विराजमान कराया… सखियों ने राग रागिनी का गायन शुरू किया… वीणा मृदंग सारंगी सब बज उठे थे…
सखियाँ दर्शन कर रही हैं इस झाँकी के… और जयजयकार करती हैं ।

🙏”हे युगलवर ! अब सन्ध्या होने में कुछ समय शेष रह गया है… इसलिये आप कुछ भोग लगा लें”… रंगदेवी सखी ने इतना कहा… और धीरे से सखियों को इशारा किया…सखियों ने तुरन्त भोग सामग्री सामने सजाने शुरू कर दिये थे ।
चौकी रखी गयी युगल के सामने… जल झारी से हाथ और मुख धुलाये युगल के… फिर उस चौकी में वस्त्र बिछाया गया…
ललिता सखी ने… अनेक ऋतुओं के सुन्दर सुन्दर फल सामने रखे… फल अत्यन्त रसीले और मीठे थे… सरस मेवा… कई प्रकार के मिष्ठान्न… चौकी पर सजाकर रख दिए… पेय पदार्थ… ग्रीष्म ऋतु के अनुकूल ।
युगलवर देख रहे हैं भोग को… और बड़े प्रसन्न हो रहे हैं ।
जब ये मुस्कुराते हैं… तब तो निकुञ्ज की शोभा और खिल जाती है ।
🙏सखियों ने कहा – हे युगल सरकार ! अब आप इन भोग सामग्रियों में से जो जो रुचिकर लगे आप उन्हें पाइये…
युगल पा रहे हैं… युगल एक दूसरे के मुख में ग्रास देते हैं… और प्रसन्नता से भर जाते हैं… इस झाँकी का दर्शन करके गदगद् हैं सखियाँ… निकुञ्ज, निकुञ्ज के पक्षी और लताएँ, सब गदगद् हैं ।
प्यारी ! इस मिठाई को एक बार अपने अधर से तो लगा लो… बड़े प्रेम से कह रहे है लाल जु ।
नही… अब नही… श्री जी मना कर रही हैं ।
अच्छा ! आप मत खाना… मैं खाऊंगा… बस अपने अधरों से तो छुवा दो।
मनुहार ज्यादा होता देख श्रीजी कहती हैं… जब आप को ही खाना है तो मेरे अधरों से क्यों छुवा रहे हो… आप खाओ ना !
श्री जी ! आपके अधर को ये मिष्ठान्न छू लेगा तो और मीठा हो जायेगा… आप छूवा लो ना !
हँसती हैं श्रीजी… फिर लाल जू उस मिठाई को श्रीजी के अधर से छुवा कर स्वयं खा लेते हैं… सखियाँ आनन्दित हो उठती हैं ।
प्यारी ! ये मेवा बड़ा ही मीठा है… इसे तो आप खाओ ।
प्रिया जी मना कर देती हैं… और प्रियतम के मुख में दे देती हैं… तब दुःखी होता देख श्याम सुन्दर को… प्रिया जु उस मेवा को प्रियतम के मुख से लेकर अपने मुख में रख लेती हैं ।
हाँ… बहुत मीठा है लालन ! आप ने सही बात कही थी… इतना कहते हुए सब सखियों को बुला लेती हैं श्रीजी… आओ सखियों ! देखो ! कितना सुन्दर… और अद्भुत स्वाद है इन मेवाओं का तुम लोग भी चखो ! आओ !
तभी –
एकाएक ललिता सखी के नेत्रों से अश्रु गिरने लगे…
रंगदेवी ने ललिता सखी से पूछा… क्या हुआ ? ललिता ! तुम रो क्यों रही हो ?
ललिता सखी ने तुरन्त कहा… श्रीकिशोरी जी की करुणा कितनी अपार है… उफ़ ! मैं तो समझ ही नही पा रही… रंगदेवी ! सिसकते हुए ललिता सखी बोल रही थीं… जगत में जितनी करुणा है ना… वो सबरी करुणा हमारी श्री किशोरी जी के हृदय भण्डार से ही जाती है ।
पर बताओ तो बात क्या है ? रंगदेवी ने ललिता से फिर पूछा ।🙏
ये मुँदरी देख रही हो ? ललिता सखी ने दिखाई ।
हाँ… पर ये मुँदरी तो हमारी श्रीकिशोरी जी की है… रंगदेवी ने कहा ।
हाँ… वही तो… अपने आँसुओं को पोंछती हुयी बोली ललिता ।
सखी ! आज दोपहर में युगल को सुलाकर जब हम अपने अपने कुञ्ज में गयी थीं ना… तब मैं जाते ही लेट गयी ।
तब मेरे पाँव दबाने लगी मेरी सखी… मैंने उसे मना किया… पर मानी नही… मुझे बड़ा अच्छा लग रहा था… क्यों कि मुझे थकान भी हो रही थी… मेरी सखी दबाती रही मेरे पाँव… जब मैंने उसके हाथों का अनुभव किया… तो बड़े कोमल उसके हाथ… मैंने उसके हाथों को पकड़ा सोये सोये… ऐसे कोमल हाथ और ऊँगली तो मेरी सखी के… वो जाने लगी… मेरी आँख लग गयी थी… जाते हुये उसकी मुँदरी मेरे हाथों में रह गयी…
अद्भुत अनुभव था वो रंगदेवी ! पर ।
थोड़ी देर में मेरी सखी आयी… वही सखी… मुझे उठाती हुयी बोली… समय हो गया है… मैंने आपकी सेवा की पूरी तैयारी कर दी है… फूल, चन्दन, इत्र माला…सब कुछ…।
मैंने अलसाई आँखों से उसे देखा… फिर मैं बोली… तेने कब ये सब किया ? अभी तो तू मेरे पाँव दबा रही थी… ? मैंने पूछा तो वो हँसती हुयी बोली… मैं आज आपकी सेवा नही कर पाईँ… क्षमा मांगती हूँ… इतना कहकर वो खड़ी रही ।
मैंने कहा… हट्ट ! विनोद करती है तू मुझ से !
उसने दो बार मुझे मना किया… मैंने उस समय उसकी बात मानी नही… पर ये मुद्रिका !
रंगदेवी के भी नेत्रों से अश्रु गिरने लगे थे… ओह ! ललिता ने कहा… श्रीजी ने मेरे पाँव दबाये !…ऐसा कौन करता है ?
सच में दयालु और कृपालु की राशि तो हमारी “श्रीकिशोरी” ही हैं ।
ललिता सखी अपलक श्रीजी को निहारे जा रही थीं… रंगदेवी साथ में दर्शन करके करुणामयी के गदगद् थीं ।
ललिता ने आगे बढ़कर वो मुद्रिका श्रीजी के ऊँगली में पहनाई… तो संकोच कर रही थीं श्रीजी… लाल जु ने पूछा… ये मुँदरी !
गिर गयी थी प्यारे ! कहीं… ललिता ने खोज दी है ।
इतना ही बोलीं श्रीजी ।
आहा !…
ललिता और रंगदेवी के नेत्रों से अविरल अश्रु प्रवाहित हो रहे थे ।
सखियों का कितना ध्यान रखती हैं हमारी श्रीजी !
ऐसे ही करुणामयी नही कहा जाता है “श्रीकिशोरी जु” को ।

Vedanta says – Be the seer, don’t be the enjoyer…
Get rid of the desire to enjoy yourself.
Vedanta says – If there is a desire to suffer… then understand that sorrow has started… That’s why be a seer.
Rasopasana says – completely give up the desire to enjoy happiness.
One should get happiness… by any means… this feeling… is a demonic feeling.
“In the first bhajan… there used to be pleasure in the contemplation of mental Ashtayam, now it is not… why so?
This one question also came to me yesterday.
“Let us enjoy”… First of all it is necessary to give up this feeling… You remember your beloved… or serve your beloved…
“Whether it is your daughter, son, husband, or wife… you do something for them… then do you think that we get pleasure?”
Then why does this demand arise in your mind in Thakur ji’s bhajan or service?
There is no need to see one’s own happiness in cooking… You should understand this thing clearly… neither in bhajan… nor in meditation… nor in serving Thakur ji… whether joy comes or not… but he has to devote his time to his service … and have to give with diligence.
“We have to take care of them”… First of all understand this point.
“We have to live for their happiness”… Let this thing be clear first.
“We have to see Him in the heart”… as Vedanta says… be a seer… see… similarly our cooking says… Hey! Look at those couples… become engrossed in watching them… while watching, think that… without them you have no movement… you have to go to Nikunj… That’s why couples are standing… waiting for you… from eternity… Galvaiyas were given to them… Look…and while watching, don’t think… that we get pleasure… We get happiness… No… Just look at them…
Why see then? Don’t you want to think when happiness comes?
“Because he is your all”… No one is your own.
So look at them…
Now look… What a nice fragrance is coming… The fragrance that is coming out from the Sriang of the couple… Like – Rose, fiddle, lotus, mix them in equal quantity and prepare some perfume…
A garland of lotus is hanging from the neck to the feet.
