अडिग निश्चय – सफलताकी कुंजी

राष्ट्रिय स्वयंसेवक सङ्घके मूल संस्थापक स्वनामधन्य डॉक्टर श्रीकेशवराव बलिराम हेडगेवार किसी कारणवश एक बार शनिवारके दिन कुछ साथियोंको लेकर अड़े गाँव गये हुए थे। वहाँ कार्यक्रममें संध्या हो गयी। यह गाँव नागपुरसे बत्तीस मीलकी दूरीपर स्थित है; रास्ता बहुत ही विकट है। गाँव नागपुर अमरावतीकी पक्की सड़कसे भी नौ-दस मील दूर है। डॉक्टर साहबका नागपुर पहुँचना आवश्यक था; क्योंकि उनका नियम था कि प्रत्येक रविवारको प्रभातकी परेडमें वे स्वयं नागपुरमें उपस्थित रहते थे। साथियोंने अनुरोध किया कि आज रात यहाँ ठहरें। पर वे उनके निश्चयको परिवर्तित नहीं कर सके।

रात अँधेरी, रास्तेमें कीचड़ और पैर मिट्टीसे सने हुए, इसपर पैरमें एक काँटा गहरा चुभा हुआ। इतनी दूरकी पैदल यात्रा। कुछ भी हो, प्रत्येक बाधापर पैर रखकर निःशङ्क आगे बढ़ते जाना तो उनकी आदत हो गयी थी। उनका विश्वास था कि लक्ष्य प्राप्तिके मार्ग में कठिनाइयाँ तो आयेंगी ही। इसलिये निश्चय करकेउत्साहपूर्वक उन्होंने यात्रा प्रारम्भ कर दी।

डॉक्टरजीके यात्रा प्रारम्भ करते ही घनघोर मूसलाधार वृष्टि आरम्भ हो गयी। पर संकटोंने अधिक देरतक उनकी परीक्षा नहीं ली। भगवान् सम्भवतः उनके साहसको ही परखना चाहते थे। डॉक्टरजी इस कसौटी पर खरे उतरे। कुछ ही मील पैदल चलनेपर उसी रास्ते | नागपुर जानेवाली मोटर लगभग ग्यारह बजे रातको मिल गयी। ड्राइवरने डॉक्टरजीको पहचानकर गाड़ी खड़ी की और उसमें चढ़ा लिया। गाड़ी खचाखच भरी थी, फिर भी किसी प्रकार पावदान आदिपर खड़े होकर साथियोंने जगह ली। ढाई-तीन बजे रातको सब नागपुर पहुँच गये। निश्चयानुसार डॉक्टरजी प्रभातमें परेडके कार्यक्रममें उपस्थित रह सके।

डॉक्टरजीकी सफलताकी यही कुंजी है। उनका निश्चय अटल था । आत्म-विश्वास तथा आत्म-श्रद्धा उनमें भरपूर थी। कठिनाइयों और विपत्तियोंका सामना करनेमें उन्हें आनन्द आता था। साहस, शौर्य, निश्चयपर अडिग रहना उनका स्वभाव था l

It was necessary for the doctor to reach Nagpur; Because it was his rule that he himself was present in Nagpur every Sunday in the morning parade. Companions requested to stay here tonight. But they could not change their determination.
Dark night, mud on the way and feet stained with mud, on this a thorn pierced deeply in the leg. Such a long walk Whatever may be the case, it had become his habit to step on every obstacle and move forward without any doubt. He believed that there would be difficulties in the way of achieving the goal. That’s why he started the journey with determination and enthusiasm.
It started raining heavily as soon as Doctorji started his journey. But the troubles did not test him for long. God probably wanted to test his courage only. Doctorji lived up to this test. On the same way after walking a few miles. The motor going to Nagpur was found at around eleven o’clock in the night. Recognizing Doctorji, the driver parked the car and got into it. The car was packed, yet somehow the companions took their seats by standing on the footboard etc. Everyone reached Nagpur at 2.30-3.00 pm. As decided, Doctorji could be present in the parade program in the morning.
This is the key to Doctorji’s success. His determination was firm. He was full of self-confidence and self-confidence. He took pleasure in facing difficulties and calamities. Courage, bravery, sticking to determination was his nature.
