There was a pundit named Jeevan Mishra. He was a devotee of the Goddess. One day he was coming from somewhere after getting the Goddess worshipped. He had a lot of money. On the way he was surrounded by thieves and said- ‘Give me whatever you have, otherwise we will kill you.’ Then Jeevan Mishra said – ‘Jag Jeevan Jani Pukari Kahi Kare Saun Talwar Gahou Jagdamba.’ At the same time a completely naked woman came there with a sword in her hand and got Jeevan Mishra to get all the money from the thieves and the thieves became blind. After a few days, when the thieves flattered Jeevan Mishra a lot, then his eyes were cured.
