अंध भक्तो कभी इन महापुरुषों को भी पड़ लिया करें
एक बार भगत सिंह रेलगाड़ी से कहीं जा रहे हैं थे।एक स्टेशन पर गाड़ी रुकी तो भगत सिंह पानी पीने के लिए उतरे।
पास के ही एक कुँए के पास गये और पानी पिया। तभी उनकी नजर कुछ दूर पर खड़े एक शख्स पर पड़ी जो धूप में नंगे बदन खड़ा था और बहुत भारी वजन भी अपने कंधे पर रखा था।
तरसती हुई आंखों से पानी की ओर देख रहा था
मन में सोच रहा था शायद मुझको थोड़ा पानी पीने तो मिल जाए।भगत सिंह उसके पास गए और पूछने लगे आप कौन हो और इतना भारी वजन को धूप में क्यों उठाये खड़े हो।
तो उसने डरते हुए कहा साहब आप मुझसे दूर रहे नहीं तो आप अछूत हो जायँगे क्योंकि मैं एक बदनसीब अछूत हूँ।
भगत सिंग ने कहा आपको प्यास लगी होगी
पहले इस वजन को उतारो और मैं पानी लाता हूं
आप पानी पी लो।भगत सिंह के इस व्यवहार से वह बहुत खुश हुआ।
भगत सिंह ने उसको पानी पिलाया और फिर पूछा आप अपने आपको अछूत क्यों कहते हो
तो उसने हिम्मत करते हुए जबाब दिया –
अछूत मैं नहीं कहता अछूत तो मुझको एक वर्ग विशेष के लोग बोलते हैं और मुझसे कहते हैं आप लोग अछूत हो।तुमको छूने से हमारा धर्म भ्रष्ट हो जाएगा और मेरे साथ जानवरों जैसा सलूक करते हैं।
आप ने तो मुझको पानी पिला दिया नहीं तो मुझको पानी भी पीने का अधिकार नहीं हैं और न ही छाया में भी खड़े होने का अधिकार हैं और न ही सार्वजनिक कुँए से पानी पीने का अधिकार हैं।
तब भगत सिंह को आभास हुआ
मुझको तो बचपन से यही बताया गया हैं की देश अंग्रेजों से गुलाम हैं पर ये तस्वीर तो कुछ और ही बयां करती है।देश तो एक वर्ग विशेष के धर्मवादियों का गुलाम हैं जो धर्म के नाम भारत को मूर्ख बनाये हुए हैं।
तभी भगत सिंह सोचने लगे देश अग्रेजों से आजाद होकर भी गुलाम रहेगा क्योंकि इन अछूतों को कौन आजाद कराएगा।
फिर भगत सिंह ने इस बात को लेकर अध्यन किया और फिर सोचने लगे इनकी ऐसी हालत कैसे हुई।भगत सिंह ने “मैं नास्तिक क्यों” पुस्तक में लिखा हैं-
मैं तो नकली दुश्मनो से लड़ रहा था,असली दुश्मन तो मेरे देश में हैं।जिनसे अकेले बाबा साहब डॉ भीम राव अम्बेडकर लड़ रहे हैं।
अगर मैं जेल से छूटा तो आजीवन बाबा साहब साथ रहते हुए इन अछूत अस्पर्श्य भारतीयों की आजादी के लिए लडूंगा।
ये बात कुछ षड्यंत्रकारी लोगों को पता चल गयी बस दुश्मनों ने सोचा कि कहीं इसकी सोच और विचारधारा अम्बेडकर से मिल गई तो बहुत गड़बड़ी हो जायेगी ।
ये बात भगत सिंह शायद न कहते और न अपनी जेल डायरी में लिखते तो शायद फांसी न होती।

Once Bhagat Singh was going somewhere by train. When the train stopped at a station, Bhagat Singh got down to drink water.
Went to a nearby well and drank water. Only then did his eyes fall on a man standing at a distance who was standing naked in the sun and was carrying a very heavy weight on his shoulder.

I was thinking in my mind that maybe I can get some water to drink. Bhagat Singh went to him and asked who are you and why are you standing in the sun carrying such a heavy weight.
So he said fearfully, sir, stay away from me, otherwise you will become an untouchable because I am an unfortunate untouchable.
Bhagat Singh said you must be thirsty
take this weight off first and i bring the water
You drink water. He was very happy with this behavior of Bhagat Singh.
Bhagat Singh gave him water and then asked why do you call yourself an untouchable.
So he boldly replied –
I do not say untouchable, people of a special class call me untouchable and tell me that you are an untouchable. Touching you will corrupt our religion and treat me like animals.
You have given me water, otherwise I do not have the right to drink water, nor do I have the right to stand in the shade, nor do I have the right to drink water from a public well.
Then Bhagat Singh realized
I have been told since childhood that the country is enslaved by the British, but this picture tells something else.
That’s why Bhagat Singh started thinking that the country will remain slaves even after being free from the British, because who will free these untouchables.
Then Bhagat Singh studied about this matter and then started thinking how his condition was like this. Bhagat Singh has written in the book “Why I am an Atheist”-
I was fighting with fake enemies, the real enemies are in my country, with whom Babasaheb Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar alone is fighting.
If I am released from jail, I will fight for the freedom of these untouchable untouchable Indians while being with Babasaheb for life.
Some conspirators came to know about this, just the enemies thought that if its thoughts and ideology mix with Ambedkar, then there will be a lot of trouble.
If Bhagat Singh had not said this and had not written in his jail diary, he might not have been hanged.
