जीवन संग्राम का सबसे बड़ा शास्त्र आत्मविश्वास है। जिसे अपने ऊपर, अपने संकल्प बल और पुरुषार्थ के ऊपर भरोसा है, वही सफलता के लिए अपने साधनों को जुटा सकता है। आत्म-संयम भी उसी के लिए सम्भव है, जिसे अपने ऊपर भरोसा है। जिसने अपने गौरव को भुला दिया, जिसे अपने में कोई शक्ति दिखाई नहीं पड़ती, जिसे अपने में केवल दीनता, अयोग्यता एवं दुर्बलता ही दिखाई पड़ती है, वह किस बलबूते पर आगे बढ़ सकेगा और कैसे इस संघर्ष भरी दुनियाँ में अपना अस्तित्व कायम रख सकेगा? बहती धार में जिसके पैर उखड़ गये, उसे पानी बहा ले जाता है, पर जो अपना हर कदम मजबूती से रखता है, वह धीरे-धीरे तेज धार को भी पार कर लेता है। हमें परमात्मा ने उतनी ही शक्ति दी है, जितनी कि अन्य मनुष्य को। जिस मंजिल को दूसरे पार कर चुके हैं, उसे हम क्यों पार नहीं कर सकते? फौज के प्रत्येक सैनिक को एक-सी बन्दूकें दी जाती है। निशाना लगाना हर सिपाही की अपनी सूझ-बूझ और योग्यता का काम है। सभी व्यक्ति अनन्त सामर्थ्य लेकर इस भू-तल पर अवतीर्ण हुए हैं। प्रश्न केवल पहचानने, भरोसा करने और उसके सदुपयोग का है। जिन्हें अपने ऊपर भरोसा है, वह अपनी उपलब्ध सामर्थ्य का सदुपयोग करके कठिन से कठिन मंजिल को पार कर लेते हैं।

Self-confidence is the biggest scripture of life’s struggle. The one who has faith in himself, his willpower and effort, only he can mobilize his resources for success. Self-restraint is also possible for the one who has faith in himself. One who has forgotten his pride, who does not see any strength in himself, who sees only humility, incapacity and weakness, on what strength will he be able to move forward and how will he be able to maintain his existence in this world full of struggle? The one whose feet are uprooted in the flowing stream, the water takes him away, but the one who keeps his every step firmly, he slowly crosses the sharp edge. God has given us the same power as any other human being. Why can’t we cross the floor which others have crossed? Every soldier in the army is given the same gun. Aiming is the work of each soldier’s own intelligence and ability. All people have incarnated on this earth with infinite potential. It is only a question of recognizing, trusting and making good use of it. Those who have faith in themselves, they cross the most difficult destination by utilizing their available potential.
