गृहस्थ के लिए नाम जप सरल साधन

आज का प्रभु संकीर्तन।।परमात्मा चिंतन के अनेक मार्ग है,किंतु हम जैसे गृहस्थ लोगो के लिए नाम जप सबसे सहज,सरल और तीव्र लाभ देने का मार्ग है।रामनाम में जो शक्ति है वह स्वयं राम में भी नहीं है। अपने जीवन में श्रीराम ने कई लोगो का उद्धार किया था,किन्तु उनके नाम ने तो आज तक अनेकों का उद्धार कर दिया। नाम-जप की महिमा अनोखी है। जप करने से जन्मकुंडली के गृह भी बदल जाते है। जप तो जनाबाई ने किया था। जनाबाई गोबर के उपले बनाती थी पर उन्हें कोई चुरा ले जाता था जनाबाई ने नामदेव से इस विषय में फरियाद की। नामदेव ने कहा,उपले तो सभी एक जैसे होते है,ये तेरे है,यह कैसे जाना जा सकता है?जनाबाई ने कहा,ये तो बड़ी आसान बात है। उपले को कान के पास लाने पर यदि उसमे से “विठ्ठल-विठ्ठल”ऐसी ध्वनि सुनाई दे तो समझ लें कि वे मेरे है। जनाबाई उपले बनाते समय बड़ी लगन से विठ्ठल नाम का जप करती थी। नामदेव ने उन उपलों में से विठ्ठल नाम की ध्वनि सुनी। उन्होंने जनाबाई से कहा -नामदेव मै नहीं,तुम हो।
जनाबाई उपले बनाते समय विठ्ठल नाम जप में ऐसी तल्लीन हो जाती थी कि उन जड़ उपलों में से विठ्ठल-विठ्ठल ध्वनि सुनाई देती थी।
भगवद्भक्ति से चित्त शुद्ध होने पर आंतरिक स्फुरण से ज्ञान प्राप्त होता है। पंडित शास्त्रो के पीछे दौड़ता है,जब कि मीराबाई की वाणी के पीछे शास्त्र दौड़ता था।
कोटि कोटि जप करने पर जीव और ईश्वर का मिलन होता है।जप के बिना जीवन सुधरता नहीं है। नाम स्मरण बड़ा आसान और सरल है। वह मृत्यु को उजागर करता है। नाम के साथ प्रीति करो तो भक्ति का प्रारम्भ होगा। जीवन में कथा मार्गदर्शिका है,वह मनुष्य को अपने सूक्ष्म दोषों का ज्ञान कराती है किन्तु उसका उद्धार तो नाम-जप और नामस्मरण से ही होता है। दृष्टांत के बिना सिद्धान्त बुद्धि में नहीं जाता।
अतः इस सिद्धान्त को समझने के लिए अजामिल का दृष्टान्त कहा गया है । अजामिल जन्म से तो अधम था,किन्तु प्रभु के नाम का आश्रय ग्रहण करके कृतार्थ हो गया। हम सब अजामिल ही है। यह जीव माया में फंसा हुआ है। जो माया से एकरूप हो गया है वह अजामिल है।
जहाँ भी जाओगे,माया साथ-साथ आएगी। कोयले की खान में उतरे और हाथ स्वच्छ रहे यह संभव नहीं है। संसार में माया के संसर्ग में आना ही पड़ता है और उसका स्पर्श भी करना पड़ता है। किन्तु उसका स्पर्श अग्नि की भाँति ही करना चाहिए। उसको विवेकरूपी चिमटे से पकड़ना चाहिए।

Today’s Prabhu Sankirtan. There are many ways to contemplate God, but for householders like us, chanting the name is the most easy, simple and fastest way to give benefits. Read. The power that is in the name of Ram is not even in Ram himself. Shriram had saved many people in his life, but his name has saved many till today. The glory of chanting the name is unique. By chanting, even the planets of the horoscope change. Janabai had chanted. Janabai used to make cow dung cakes, but someone used to steal them. Janabai complained to Namdev about this. Namdev said, all are the same, it is yours, how can it be known? Janabai said, this is a very easy thing. If you hear the sound of “Vitthal-Vitthal” when the cow dung cake is brought near the ear, then understand that it is mine. Janabai used to chant the name Vitthal with great devotion while making uple. Namdev heard the sound of the name Vitthal from those uplas. He said to Janabai – Namdev is not me, it is you.
Janabai used to get so engrossed in chanting the name of Vitthal while preparing uplas that the sound of vitthal-vitthal was heard from those inert uplas.
When the mind is purified by devotion to the Lord, knowledge is attained through inner inspiration. The pundit runs after the scriptures, while the scriptures used to run after Mirabai’s speech.
On doing crores of chants, the soul and God meet. Life does not improve without chanting. Name remembrance is very easy and simple. He exposes death. Have love with the name and devotion will begin. Story is a guide in life, it makes a man aware of his subtle faults, but he can be saved only by chanting and chanting the name. Without illustration, the theory does not enter the intellect.
Therefore, to understand this principle, the parable of Ajamil has been told. Ajamil was lowly by birth, but by taking refuge in the name of the Lord, he became successful. We all are Ajamil. This creature is trapped in Maya. One who has become one with Maya is Ajamil.
Wherever you go, Maya will come with you. It is not possible to enter a coal mine and have clean hands. In the world one has to come in contact with Maya and also have to touch it. But it should be touched like fire. He should be caught with judicious tongs.
