तुलसीदासजी जब रामचरित- मानस लिख रहे थे, तो उन्होंने एक चौपाई लिखी
सिय राम मय सब जग जानी,
करहु प्रणाम जोरी जुग पानी
अर्थात:
पूरा संसार श्रीराममय है। हर जीव में उनका निवास है, सबमें भगवान हैं अतः उन सबको हमें हाथ जोड़कर प्रणाम कर लेना चाहिए।
चौपाई लिखने के बाद तुलसीदास जी विश्राम करने अपने घर की ओर चल दिए।रास्ते में जाते हुए उन्हें एक लड़का मिला और बोला अरे महात्मा जी, इस रास्ते से मत जाइये। आगे एक बैल गुस्से में लोगों को मारता हुआ घूम रहा है। और आपने तो लाल वस्त्र भी पहन रखे हैं तो आप इस रास्ते से बिल्कुल मत जाइये।
तुलसीदास जी ने सोचा : ये कल का बालक मुझे चला रहा है। मुझे पता है सबमें राम का वास है। मैं उस बैल के हाथ जोड़ लूँगा और शान्ति से चला जाऊंगा।
लेकिन तुलसीदास जी जैसे ही आगे बढे तभी बिगड़ैल बैल ने उन्हें जोरदार टक्कर मारी और वो गिर पड़े……
अब तुलसीदास जी घर जाने की बजाय सीधे उस जगह पहुंचे जहाँ वो रामचरित मानस लिख रहे थे। और उस चौपाई को फाड़ने लगे, तभी वहाँ हनुमान जी प्रकट हुए और बोले : श्रीमान ये आप क्या कर रहे हैं……
तुलसीदास जी उस समय बहुत गुस्से में थे, वो बोले : ये चौपाई बिल्कुल गलत है ऐसा कहते हुए उन्होंने हनुमान जी को सारी बात बताई।
हनुमानजी मुस्कुराकर तुलसीदास जी से बोले : श्रीमान, ये चौपाई तो शत प्रतिशत सही है आपने उस बैल में तो श्री राम को देखा लेकिन उस बच्चे में राम को नहीं देखा जो आपको बचाने आये थे ! भगवान तो बालक के रूप में आपके पास पहले ही आये थे लेकिन आपने देखा ही नहीं।
ऐसा सुनते ही तुलसीदास जी ने हनुमान जी को गले से लगा लिया।
हम भी अपने जीवन में कई बार छोटी छोटी चीज़ों पर ध्यान नहीं देते और बाद में किसी बड़ी समस्या का शिकार हो जाते हैं। कई बार छोटी-छोटी बातें हमें बड़ी समस्या का संकेत देती हैं लेकिन हम उनपर ध्यान नही देते।

When Tulsidasji was writing Ramcharit-Manas, he wrote a couplet
Siya Ram may all the world know, Karhu pranam jori jug paani
In other words:
The whole world is Shri Rammay. He resides in every living being, God is present in everyone, hence we should salute them all with folded hands.
After writing the Chaupai, Tulsidas ji went towards his home for rest. While going on the way, he met a boy and said, Hey Mahatma ji, do not go through this route. Ahead, a bull is roaming around angrily killing people. And you are also wearing red clothes, so do not go this route at all.
Tulsidas ji thought: This child of yesterday is driving me. I know that Ram resides in everyone. I will fold the hands of that bull and go away in peace.
But as soon as Tulsidas ji moved forward, the mischievous bull hit him hard and he fell down.
Now instead of going home, Tulsidas ji went straight to the place where he was writing Ramcharit Manas. And started tearing that four-square, then Hanuman ji appeared there and said: Sir, what are you doing…
Tulsidas ji was very angry at that time, he said: This chaupai is absolutely wrong, saying this he told the whole thing to Hanuman ji.
Hanumanji smiled and said to Tulsidas ji: Sir, this quatrain is 100% correct. You saw Shri Ram in that bull but did not see Ram in the child who came to save you. God had already come to you in the form of a child but you did not see him.
On hearing this, Tulsidas ji hugged Hanuman ji.
Many times in our lives we do not pay attention to small things and later become victims of some big problem. Many times small things indicate a big problem but we do not pay attention to them.
