इतने गुणों का एक साथ एक व्यक्तित्व में समाहित हो जाना परम् आश्चर्य की बात है, बहुधा देखा जाता है कि जो भक्त है वह शारिरिक दृष्टि से बलशाली नही होता ,जो ज्ञानी होता है व भक्त नही होता ,जो श्रोता हो वो परमोच्च कोटि का वक्ता नही होता, पर हनुमानजी में सभी गुण समान रूप से विद्यमान हैं। जहाँ वे साधु व सन्तों का मार्गदर्शन व साधना में सहायता करते हैं (चाहे वे किसी भी साधना पद्धति व भगवान के किसी स्वरूपका साधक हो)वहीं वो साधु संतों को कष्ट देने वाले असुरों का संहार व सबक भी सिखाते हैं।
दहिनी भुजा सन्त जन तारें।

आप में पवनपुत्र होने के कारण वायु तत्व की प्रधानता है अतः आप शरणागत मुमुक्षु साधकों को अपने कृपा अनुग्रह रूपी वेग से शीघ्र ही लक्ष्य तक पहुंचा देते है।
आप ज्ञानिनाम अग्रगण्य तो हैं ही, दास्य भक्ति के परम आचार्य हैं।भगवान की प्रत्येक लीला में आपका प्रवेश है,भगवांन सीताराम की मधुर लीला में आप श्रीसीताजी की सहचरी के रूप में विद्यमान हैं।
श्रीराधाकृष्ण की मधुर लीला में आप कौतुकी कपि रूप के में विद्यमान हैं।
वैसे तो श्री हनुमानजी जी के विद्यागुरु भुवनभास्कर श्री सूर्यदेव हैं।पर कुछ महान सन्तो का मानना है कि हनुमान जी के सद्गुरु जनकनन्दिनी श्री सीता जी हैं।

उस समय जानकी जी को अपार आनन्द की प्राप्ति हुई और उनका शोक जाता रहा,।
राम कथा गुन बरनै लागा।
सुनतहिं सीता कर दुख भागा।
उससे प्रसन्न होकर जनकनन्दिनी श्री सीता जी ने कहा आओ पुत्र आज मैं तुम्हे रामनाम की दीक्षा देती हूँ। और उन्होंने परम सुकृतपुंज श्री हनुमानजी जी दीक्षा दे कर परम् कृतार्थ किया।स्वयं लोकपितामह श्री ब्रह्मा जी इसके साक्षी थे और मन ही मन सोच रहे थे कि काश ये दीक्षा मुझे भी मिल जाती।
इसीलिये जानकी जी के प्रथम पुत्र रूप में इनकी मान्यता है और अयोध्या का उत्तराधिकारी इनको ही माना जाता है।
इन्ही श्रीराममंगलदास जी महाराज ने एक बार हनुमान जी से इच्छा प्रकट की मुझे भी आप श्रीराम लक्ष्मण की तरह अपने कन्धे पर् एक बार घुमाइए। हनुमान जी मुस्कराए और बोले।महात्मन ! मेरे तीव्र वेग को श्रीराम और लक्ष्मण के अतिरिक्त इस जगत में कोई सहन नही कर सकता।
आपन तेज सम्हारो आपै।
तीनो लोक हाँकते कांपै।
श्रीसीताराम जी व उनके भक्तों को मैं कैसे सुख पहुँचाऊँ इसके अतिरिक्त उनका कोई भी प्रयोजन नही हैं, आप तत्तसुखी भाव के भी परम् आचार्य हैं।
आप आपदा प्रबंधन के भी परम् आचार्य हैं।,जब जब भी भगवान पर संकट आया बिना समय गवाये उन्होंने तुरन्त उसको समाप्त करने के लिए कार्य किया। चाहे लक्ष्मण जी की मूर्छा हो या नागपाश में बधे द्वय बन्धुओं का गरुण जी द्वारा निवारण।
श्री हनुमानजी भगवान के यंत्र है ,अतः जब जैसे आवश्यकता होती है भगवान उनका उपयोग करते हैं, गरुण जी ,बलरामजी के अभिमान को समाप्त करने के लिए भगवान ने इनका उपयोग किया।
श्री हनुमानजी इस घोर कलिकाल में सर्वाधिक पूज्य देव हैं,इसीलिए सम्भवतः उनसे ज्यादा मन्दिर दुनिया मे किसी देव का नही है।
आप नाम के इतने बड़े प्रेमी हैं कि उस नाम के बल पर स्वयं श्रीराम को भी अपने वश में कर लिया और उसी नाम के बल पर एक युद्ध मे श्रीराम को भी हरा दिया।
श्री हनुमानजी महराज से प्रार्थना-
पालो तेरे टूक को परेहू चूक मूकिये न,
कूर कौड़ी दूको हों आपनी ओर हेरिये।
भोरानाथ भोरे ही सरोष होत थीरे दोष,
पोषि तोषि थापि आपनो न अव डेरिये॥
अँबुतू हों अँबु चूर, अँबु तू हों डिंभ सो न,
बूझिये बिलंब अवलंब मेरे तेरिये ।
बालक बिकल जानि पाहि प्रेम पहिचानि,
तुलसी की बाँह पर लामी लूम फेरिये॥३४॥
भावार्थ – आपके टुकड़ोंसे पला हूँ, चूक पड़नेपर भी मौन न हो जाइये। मैं कुमार्गी दो कौड़ीका हूँ, पर आप अपनी ओर देखिये। हे भोलानाथ! अपने भोलेपनसे ही आप थोड़े दोषसे रुष्ट हो जाते हैं, सन्तुष्ट होकर मेरा पालन करके मुझे बसाइये, अपना सेवक समझकर दुर्दशा न कीजिये। आप जल हैं तो मैं मछली हूँ, आप माता हैं तो मैं छोटा बालक हूँ, देरी न कीजिये, मुझको आपका ही सहारा है। बच्चेको व्याकुल जानकर प्रेमकी पहचान करके रक्षा कीजिये, तुलसीकी बाँहपर अपनी लंबी पूँछ फेरिये (जिससे पीड़ा निर्मूल हो जावे) ॥ ३४॥
घेरि लियो रोगनि, कुजोगनि, कुलोगनि ज्यौं,
बासर जलद घन घटा धुकि धाई है।
बरसत बारि पीर जारिये जवासे जस,
रोष बिनु दोष धूम मूल मलिनाई है ॥
करुनानिधान हनुमान महा बलवान,
हेरि हँसि हाँकि फूंकि फौंजै ते उड़ाई है।
खाये हुतो तुलसी कुरोग राढ़ राकसनि,
केसरी किसोर राखे बीर बरिआई है॥३५॥
