एक बालक जिसने 3 साल की उम्र में अपनी पहली कविता लिख दी। एक बालक जिसने 5 साल की उम्र में पूरी श्रीमदभगवत गीता के 700 श्लोक विद चैप्टर और श्लोक नंबर के साथ याद कर लिए। एक बालक जिसने 7 साल की उम्र में सिर्फ 60 दिन के अंदर श्रीरामचरितमानस की 10 हजार 900 चौपाइयां और छंद याद कर लिए। वही बालक गिरिधर आज पूरी दुनिया में जगदगुरु श्री रामभद्राचार्य जी के नाम से जाने जाते हैं। मकर संक्रांति के दिन 14 जनवरी 1950 को चित्रकूट में उनका जन्म हुआ था। 2 महीने की उम्र में ही वो नेत्रहीन हो गए लेकिन वो 22 भाषाओं में बोल सकते हैं इसके अलावा 100 से ज्यादा पुस्तकें और 50 से ज्यादा रिसर्च पेपर बोलकर लिखवा चुके हैं। एक नेत्रहीन बालक इतना बड़ा विद्वान बन गया कि जब रामजन्मभूमि केस में मु स्लिम पक्ष ने ये सवाल खड़ा किया कि अगर बाबर ने राममंदिर तोड़ा तो तुलसी दास ने जिक्र क्यों नहीं किया ?
ये सवाल इतना भारी था कि हिंदू पक्ष के लिए संकट खड़ा हो गया लेकिन तब संकट मोचन बने श्रीरामभद्राचार्य जिन्होंने इलाहाबाद हाईकोर्ट (हाईकोर्ट का नाम अब भी वही है) में गवाही दी और तुलसी दास के दोहाशतक में लिखा वो दोहा जज साहब को सुनाया जिसमें बाबर के सेनापति मीर बाकी द्वारा राम मंदिर को तोड़ने का जिक्र है।
रामजन्म मंदिर महिं मंदिरहि तोरि मसीत बनाय ।
जबहि बहु हिंदुन हते, तुलसी कीन्ही हाय ।।
दल्यो मीर बाकी अवध, मंदिर राम समाज ।
तुलसी रोवत हृदय अति, त्राहि त्राहि रघुराज ।।

उनके प्रोफाइल पर गौर कीजिए आध्यात्मिक नेता, शिक्षक, संस्कृत के विद्वान, कवि, विद्वान, दार्शनिक, गीतकार, गायक, साहित्यकार और कथाकार। 24 जून 1988 को काशी विद्वत परिषद ने उनको जगदगुरु रामभद्राचार्य की उपाधि दी। उनका बचपन का नाम था गिरिधर। प्रयागराज में कुंभ मेले में 3 फरवरी 1989 में सभी संत समाज द्वारा स्वामी गिरिधर को श्री रामभद्राचार्य की उपाधि दे दी गई।
श्री रामभद्राचार्य तुलसी पीठ के संस्थापक हैं और जगदगुरु रामभद्राचार्य हैंडिकैप्ड यूनिवर्सिटी के आजीवन कुलपति भी हैं विश्व हिंदू परिषद के रूप में भी वो हिंदुओं को प्रेरणा दे रहे हैं।
