एक आदमी बर्फ बनाने वाली कम्पनी में काम करता था___
एक दिन कारखाना बन्द होने से पहले अकेला फ्रिज करने वाले कमरे का चक्कर लगाने गया तो गलती से दरवाजा बंद हो गया
और वह अंदर बर्फ वाले हिस्से में फंस गया..
छुट्टी का वक़्त था और सब काम करने वाले लोग घर जा रहे थे
किसी ने भी अधिक ध्यान नहीं दिया की कोई अंदर फंस गया है।
वह समझ गया की दो-तीन घंटे बाद उसका शरीर बर्फ बन जाएगा अब जब मौत सामने नजर आने लगी तो
भगवान को सच्चे मन से याद करने लगा।
अपने कर्मों की क्षमा मांगने लगा और भगवान से कहा कि प्रह्लाद को तुमने अग्नि से बचाया, अहिल्या को पत्थर से नारि बनाया, शबरी के जुठे बेर खाकर उसे स्वर्ग में स्थान दिया।
प्रभु अगर मैंने जिंदगी में कोई एक काम भी मानवता व धर्म का किया है तो तूम मुझे यहाँ से बाहर निकालो।

चौकीदार बोला कि साहब मैं 20 साल से यहां काम कर रहा हूं। इस कारखाने में काम करते हुए हर रोज सैकड़ों मजदूर और ऑफिसर कारखाने में आते जाते हैं।
मैं देखता हूं लेकिन आप उन कुछ लोगों में से हो, जो जब भी कारखाने में आते हो तो मुझसे हंस कर

और हालचाल पूछते हो और निकलते हुए आपका

कहना मेरी सारे दिन की थकावट दूर कर देता है।
जबकि अक्सर लोग मेरे पास से यूं गुजर जाते हैं कि जैसे मैं हूं ही नहीं।
आज हर दिनों की तरह मैंने आपका आते हुए अभिवादन तो सुना लेकिन
