भगवान श्रीकृष्ण ने गीता का उपदेश युद्धभूमि में क्यों दिया

भगवान श्रीकृष्ण ने गीता का उपदेश कुरुक्षेत्र की युद्धभूमि में दिया और वह भी तब, जब युद्ध की घोषणा हो चुकी थी, दोनों पक्षों की सेनाएं आमने-सामने आ गईं थीं । रणभेरी बज चुकी थी । क्यों ?

भगवान श्रीकृष्ण ने गीता का उपदेश किसी ऋषि-मुनियों और विद्वानों की सभा या गुरुकुल में नहीं दिया, बल्कि उस युग के सबसे बड़े युद्ध ‘महाभारत’ की रणभूमि में किया। युद्ध अनिश्चितता का प्रतीक है, जिसमें दोनों पक्षों के प्राण और प्रतिष्ठा दाँव पर लगते हैं। युद्ध के ऐसे अनिश्चित वातावरण में मनुष्य को शोक, मोह व भय रूपी मानसिक दुर्बलता व अवसाद से बाहर निकालने के लिए एक उच्चकोटि के ज्ञान-दर्शन की आवश्यकता होती है; इसलिए भगवान श्रीकृष्ण ने गीता का ज्ञान वहीं दिया, जहां उसकी सबसे अधिक आवश्यकता थी।

श्रीकृष्ण जगद्गुरु हैं। गीता के उपदेश द्वारा श्रीकृष्ण ने अर्जुन को मन से मजबूत बना दिया। महाभारत के युद्ध में अर्जुन के सामने कई बार ऐसे क्षण आए भी। अभिमन्यु की मृत्यु के समाचार से जब अर्जुन शोक और विषाद से भर गए, तब श्रीकृष्ण ने अर्जुन को स्मरण कराया—

‘’यह युद्ध है, यह अपना मूल्य लेगा ही। युद्ध में सब कुछ संभव है।’

यह गीता के ज्ञान का ही परिणाम था कि अर्जुन दूसरे दिन एक महान लक्ष्य के संकल्प के साथ युद्धभूमि में आते हैं।

महाभारत का युद्ध द्वापर के अंत में लड़ा गया था और कलियुग आने वाला था। भगवान श्रीकृष्ण जानते थे कि कलियुग में मानव मानसिक रूप से बहुत दुर्बल होगा क्योंकि धर्म के तीन पैर—सत्य, तप और दान का कलियुग में लोप हो जाएगा। मनुष्य के पास सत्य, तप और दान का बल कम होगा। मनुष्य शोक और मोह से ग्रस्त होकर ऊहापोह की स्थिति—‘क्या करें, क्या न करें’ में भ्रमित रहेगा। उस समय गीता का ज्ञान ही जीवन-संग्राम में मनुष्य का पथ-प्रदर्शक होगा।

आज मनुष्य का सम्पूर्ण जीवन ही एक संग्राम है। मानव जीवन में छोटे-छोटे युद्ध (धन का अभाव, पारिवारिक कलह, बीमारी, बच्चों की अच्छी परवरिश, शिक्षा व विवाह आदि की चिंता, ऋण-भार आदि) नित्य ही चलते रहते हैं। जीवन का गणित ही कुछ ऐसा है कि जीवन सदा एक-सा नहीं रहता है। यहां जय-पराजय, लाभ-हानि, सुख-दु:ख का क्रम चलता ही रहता है। समय और परिस्थिति के थपेड़े हमें डांवाडोल करते ही रहते हैं। इस युद्ध में मनुष्य बुरी तरह से टूट कर आत्महत्या जैसे गलत कदम भी उठा लेता है।

गीता का ज्ञान मनुष्य यदि हृदय में उतार ले, तो फिर हर परिस्थिति का वह अर्जुन की तरह डट कर सामना कर सकता है—

▪️‘सुखदु:खे समे कृत्वा लाभालाभौ जयाजयौ’ अर्थात् सुख-दु:ख, लाभ-हानि, जय-पराजय—हर परिस्थिति में सम रह कर जीवन युद्ध लड़ो, समता का दृष्टिकोण अपना कर कर्तव्य पालन करो।

यह जीवन-दर्शन भगवान श्रीकृष्ण ने अपने जीवन में जीकर भी दिखाया। जन्म से पूर्व ही मृत्यु उनका पीछा कर रही थी। कौन-से उपाय कंस ने श्रीकृष्ण को मरवाने के लिए नही किए ? परंतु हर बार मृत्यु उनसे हार गई। जब वे इस धराधाम को छोड़कर गए, तब भी संसार को यह सिखा दिया कि मृत्यु का स्वागत किस तरह करना चाहिए ?

महाभारत युद्ध में बड़े-बड़े ब्रह्मास्त्रों और दिव्य अस्त्रों की काट अर्जुन को बताने वाले श्रीकृष्ण मृत्यु के वरण के लिए एक वृक्ष के नीचे जाकर लेट गए और पूरी प्रसन्नता और तटस्थता के साथ जरा व्याध के तीर का स्वागत किया और अपनी संसार-लीला को समेट लिया।

ऐसा अद्भुत श्रीकृष्ण का चरित्र और वैसा ही उनका अलौकिक गीता का ज्ञान; जो सच्चे मन से हृदयंगम करने पर मनुष्य को जीवन-संग्राम में पग-पग पर राह दिखाता है और कर्तव्य-बोध कराता है।

Why did Lord Krishna preach Gita in the battlefield!!!!

Lord Shri Krishna preached the Gita in the battlefield of Kurukshetra and that too when the war had been declared and the armies of both the sides had come face to face. The bell had rung. Why ?

Lord Krishna did not preach the Gita in any assembly of sages and scholars or in a Gurukul, but in the battlefield of ‘Mahabharata’, the biggest war of that era. War is a symbol of uncertainty, in which life and prestige of both the sides are at stake. In such an uncertain environment of war, a high-quality knowledge-philosophy is needed to get a man out of mental weakness and depression in the form of grief, attachment and fear; That’s why Lord Krishna gave the knowledge of Gita where it was most needed.

Shri Krishna is Jagadguru. Shri Krishna made Arjuna strong in mind by the teachings of Gita. In the war of Mahabharata many such moments came in front of Arjuna. When Arjuna was filled with grief and sadness at the news of Abhimanyu’s death, then Shri Krishna reminded Arjuna-

“This is war, it will take its toll. Everything is possible in war.

It was the result of the knowledge of the Gita that Arjuna comes to the battlefield on the second day with the determination of a great goal.

The war of Mahabharata was fought at the end of Dwapar and Kaliyuga was about to come. Lord Krishna knew that in Kaliyuga man would be mentally very weak because the three legs of religion- truth, penance and charity would be extinct in Kaliyuga. Man will have less power of truth, penance and charity. Man will remain confused in the state of confusion-‘what to do, what not to do’ by being afflicted by grief and attachment. At that time the knowledge of Gita will be the guide of man in the struggle of life.

Today the whole life of man is a struggle. Small battles in human life (lack of money, family discord, illness, good upbringing of children, worries about education and marriage etc., debt-burden etc.) go on daily. The mathematics of life is such that life does not always remain the same. Here the sequence of victory-defeat, profit-loss, happiness-sorrow continues. The ravages of time and circumstances keep making us waver. In this war, man breaks down badly and takes wrong steps like suicide.

If a man imbibes the knowledge of the Gita in his heart, then he can face every situation as firmly as Arjuna.

▪️‘Sukhdu:khe same kritva labhalabhau jayajayau’ means happiness and sorrow, gain and loss, victory and defeat—fight the battle of life by being equal in every situation, adopt the attitude of equality and fulfill your duty.

This philosophy of life was also shown by Lord Krishna by living it in his life. Death was following him even before his birth. Which measures did Kansa not take to get Shri Krishna killed? But death defeated him every time. Even when he left this earth, he taught the world how to welcome death.

In the Mahabharata war, Shri Krishna, who told Arjuna the cutting of great Brahmastras and divine weapons, lay down under a tree to avoid death and welcomed the arrow of the hunter with complete happiness and neutrality and wrapped up his worldly life. took.

Such is the wonderful character of Shri Krishna and so is his knowledge of the supernatural Gita; The one who guides a man at every step in the struggle of life and makes him aware of duty when he does it with a true heart.
