वह मूर्ख इसी प्रकार अपना जीवन बिता रहा था कि मृत्यु का समय आ पहुँचा | अब वह अपने पुत्र बालक नारायण के सम्बन्ध में ही सोचने विचारने लगा ||२७|| इतने में ही अजामिल ने देखा कि उसे ले जाने के लिये अत्यन्त भयावने तीन यमदूत आये हैं | उनके हाथ में फाँसी है, मुहँ टेढ़े-मेढ़े हैं और शरीर के रोएँ खड़े हैं ||२८|| उस समय बालक नारायण वहाँ से कुछ दूरी पर खेल रहा था | यमदूतों को देखकर अजामिल अत्यन्त व्याकुल हो गया और उसने ऊँचे स्वर से पुकारा – ‘नारायण’ ||२९|| भगवान् के पार्षदों ने देखा कि यह मरते समय हमारे स्वामी भगवान् नारायण का नाम ले रहा है, उनके नाम का कीर्तन कर रहा है; अत: वे बड़े वेग से झटपट वहाँ आ पहुँचे ||३०|| उस समय यमराज के दूत दासीपति अजामिल के शरीर में से उसके सूक्ष्मशरीर को खींच रहे थे | विष्णुदूतों ने उन्हें बलपूर्वक रोक दिया ||३१|| उनके रोकने पर यमराज के दूतों ने उनसे कहा – ‘अरे, धर्मराज की आज्ञा का निषेध करने वाले तुम लोग हो कौन ? ||३२|| तुम किसके दूत हो, कहाँ से आये हो और इसे ले जाने से हमें क्यों रोक रहे हो ? क्या तुम लोग कोई देवता, उपदेवता अथवा सिध्द श्रेष्ठ हो ||३३|| हम देखते हैं कि तुम सब लोगों के नेत्र कमलदल के समान कोमलता से भरे हैं, तुम पीले-पीले रेशमी वस्त्र पहने हो | तुम्हारे सिर पर मुकुट, कानों में कुण्डल और गलों में कमल के हार लहरा रहे हैं ||३४|| सबकी नयी अवस्था है, सुन्दर-सुन्दर चार-चार भुजाएँ हैं, सभी के करकमलों में धनुष, तरकस, तलवार, गदा, शंख, चक्र, कमल आदि सुशोभित हैं ||३५|| तुम लोगों की अंगकान्ति से दिशाओं का अधिकार और प्राकृत प्रकाश भी दूर हो रहा है | हम धर्मराज के सेवक हैं | हमें तुम लोग क्यों रोक रहे हो ?’ ||३६||

Vishnu’s messengers stopped them by force ||31|| On stopping him, the messengers of Yamraj said to him – ‘Hey, who are you people who disobey the orders of Dharmaraja? ||32|| Whose messenger are you from, where have you come from and why are you stopping us from taking it? Are you any deity, sub-devata or siddha superior ||33|| We see that the eyes of all of you are filled with tenderness like a lotus flower, you are clothed in yellow and yellow silk clothes. The crown on your head, the coils in your ears and the necklace of lotus in your neck are waving ||34|| Everyone has a new stage, beautiful and beautiful have four arms, bow, arrow, sword, mace, conch shell, chakra, lotus etc. are adorned in their lotuses ||35|| The right of directions and the natural light is also getting away from you.
