अंधा हो गया

एक महात्मा थे। वे एक बार किसी किलेके सामने बैठे थे। उस समय मुगलराज्य था। एक सिपाहीने उनको भगा दिया, पर वे फिर आकर बैठ गये। इस तरह तीन बार हुआ। तब अफसरने उनको तोपके मुँह उड़ा देनेकीआज्ञा दी। दो बार तोप छोड़ी गयी पर वे महात्मा बैठे हँसते रहे। तब अफसरने एक बार अपने सामने तोप छोड़नेकी आज्ञा दी कहते हैं कि वह अफसर तभी अंधा हो गया और महात्मा उठकर कहीं चले गये!

There was a Mahatma. Once he was sitting in front of a fort. At that time it was the Mughal state. A constable chased them away, but they came back and sat down. This happened three times. Then the officer ordered them to blow the mouth of the cannon. The cannon was fired twice but the Mahatma sat and kept laughing. Then the officer once ordered to release a cannon in front of him. It is said that the officer became blind only then and the Mahatma got up and went somewhere!
