आज बसंत पंचमी पर्व है। इस दिन बसंत ऋतु का प्रारंभ होता हैं बसंत को ऋतु राज माना जाता है। यह पूरा माह बहुत शांत एवम संतुलित होता है, इन दिनों मुख्य पाँच तत्व (जल, वायु, आकाश, अग्नि एवम पृथ्वी ) संतुलित अवस्था में होते हैं और इनका ऐसा व्यवहार प्रकृति को और सुंदर एवम मन मोहक बनाता है अर्थात इन दिनों ना बारिश होती है, ना बहुत ठंडक और ना ही गर्मी का मौसम होता हैं, इसलिए इसे सुहानी ऋतु माना जाता है। बसंत में सभी जगह हरियाली का दृश्य दिखाई पड़ता है। पतझड़ जाते ही पेड़ों पर नयी शाखायें जन्म लेती हैं, जो प्राकृतिक सुन्दरता को और अधिक मनमोहक कर देती हैं। आज के दिन पीले वस्त्र पहनना अति शुभ माना जाता है।
माँ सरस्वती जन्मोत्सव
आज माँ सरस्वती प्राकट्योत्सव भी है, इसे श्रीपंचमी भी कहा जाता है। ब्रह्माण्ड की संरचना प्रारंभ के समय ब्रह्मा जी ने मनुष्य की रचना की, किन्तु उनके हृदय में दुविधा थी..उन्हें चारों ओर शून्यता का सा आभास हुआ, तब उन्होंने अपने कमंडल से जल छिडक कर एक देवी को जन्म दिया, जो उनकी मानस पुत्री कहलायी, जिन्हें हम सरस्वती देवी के रूप में जानते हैं, इन देवी की एक भुजा में वीणा, दूसरी में पुस्तक तथा अन्य में माला थी। उनके जन्म के बाद उनसे वीणा वादन को कहा गया, तब देवी सरस्वती ने जैसे ही स्वर को बिखेरा वैसे ही धरती में कम्पन हुआ और मनुष्य को वाणी मिली और धरती की शून्यता समाप्त हुई। धरती पर पनपने वाले हर जीव-जंतु, वनस्पति एवम जल धार में एक ध्वनि शुरू हो गई और सब में चेतना का संचार होने लगा। इसलिए इस दिवस को माँ सरस्वती जन्मोत्सव के रूप में मनाया जाता हैं। माँ सरस्वती विद्या तथा कला की देवी हैं, इनकी पूजा अर्चना के संग-संग अपनी पुस्तकों तथा वाद्य-यंत्रों की पूजा भी आज के दिन करनी चाहिए।

There is neither very cold nor hot weather, hence it is considered a pleasant season. In spring, greenery is seen everywhere. As soon as autumn comes, new branches are born on the trees, which makes the natural beauty more attractive. Wearing yellow clothes today is considered very auspicious.
Maa Saraswati Janmotsav
Today is also Maa Saraswati Prakatyotsav, it is also called Shri Panchami. At the beginning of the creation of the universe, Lord Brahma created man, but there was a dilemma in his heart. He felt a feeling of emptiness all around, then he sprinkled water from his Kamandal and gave birth to a goddess, who was called his Manas daughter. Whom we know as Goddess Saraswati, she had a veena in one arm, a book in the other and a rosary in the other. After his birth, he was asked to play Veena, then as soon as Goddess Saraswati spread the sound, the earth vibrated and man got speech and the emptiness of the earth ended. A sound started in every animal, plant and water stream growing on earth and consciousness started spreading in everyone. Therefore this day is celebrated as the birth anniversary of Mother Saraswati. Mother Saraswati is the goddess of knowledge and art, along with worshiping her, one should also worship one’s books and musical instruments on this day.
