दशहरा का पर्व असत्य की सत्य पर जीत का पर्व है। दशहरा जिसे विजय दशमी भी कहते हैं यह पर्व अश्विन मास के शुक्ल पक्ष की दशमी तिथि को आता है। विजयदशमी यानी दशहरा नवरात्रि खत्म होने के अगले दिन मनाया जाता है। धार्मिक मान्यताओं के अनुसार, भगवान राम ने रावण का वध करने से पहले 9 दिनों तक मां दुर्गा की उपासनी की थी और 10वें दिन रावण का वध किया था।
विजयदशमी का पर्व आश्विन मास के शुक्ल पक्ष की दशमी तिथि को मनाए जाने वाले मुख्य पर्वों में से है। श्री वाल्मीकि रामायण, श्री रामचरितमानस, कालिका उप पुराण और अन्य अनेक धार्मिक ग्रन्थों के अनुसार भारतीय जनता के प्राण, मर्यादा पुरुषोत्तम भगवान श्री राम के साथ इस पर्व का गहरा संबंध है। विद्वानों के अनुसार श्री रामजी ने अपनी विजय यात्रा इसी तिथि को आरंभ की थी। इसलिए विजय यात्रा के लिए यह पर्व शास्त्र सम्मत माना जाता है। आइए दशहरे की मान्यताओं, इतिहास और शुभ मुहूर्त के बारे में जानते हैं विस्तार से।
दशहरे का शुभ मुहूर्त
इस साल आश्विन मास के शुक्ल पक्ष की दशमी तिथि 24 अक्टूबर मंगलवार के दिन है। आपको बता दें कि दशमी तिथि का आरंभ 23 अक्टूबर को शाम के समय 5 बजकर 44 मिनट पर होगा और इसका समापन 24 अक्टूबर को 3 बजकर 14 मिनट पर होगा। दशहरा का त्योहार 24 अक्टूबर को मनाया जाएगा। बता दें कि इस साल दशहरा पर दो बहुत ही शुभ योग बनने जा रहे हैं एक रवि योग और दूसरी वृद्धि योग का संयोग है।
दशहरे का इतिहास
भारतीय काल गणना के अनुसार इसका आरंभ आज से लगभग नौ लाख वर्ष पूर्व सिद्ध होता है। ज्योतिष के सिद्धान्तानुसार इस समय में ऐसे ग्रह नक्षत्रों का संयोग होता है, जिससे विजय यात्रा का श्रीगणेश करने पर विजय यात्री को जय की प्राप्ति होती है। इसलिए इस तिथि में राजागण अपने राज्यों की सीमा का अतिक्रमण करते रहे हैं और यूं भी भगवान श्री राम की विजय यात्रा के स्मरणार्थ मनाया जाने वाला विजयदशमी का पर्व आज भी अपने अनेक शाश्वत मूल्यों के कारण प्रासंगिक है। श्रीराम द्वारा रावण पर विजय दैवीय और मानवीय गुणों-सत्य, नैतिकता और सदाचार की राक्षसी और अमानवीय दुर्गुणों- अनैतिकता, असत्य, दंभ, अहंकार और दुराचार पर विजय है। यह पर्व न्याय की जीत एवं नारी जाति के अपमान करने वालों का संहारक है।
इसे लेकर एक अन्य पौराणिक कथा कहती है कि एक महिषासुर नाम का राक्षस था जिसने ब्रह्मा जी की उपासना करके वरदान प्राप्त किया था कि वह पृथ्वी पर कोई भी उसे पराजित नहीं कर पाएगा अर्थात उसका वध नहीं कर पाएगा। महिषासुर से अपने पाप से हाहाकार मचा दिया था। तब ब्रह्मा विष्णु महेश ने अपनी शक्ति से दुर्गा मां का सर्जन किया था। मां दुर्गा और महिषासुर के बीच में 9 दिनों तक मुकाबला चला और 10वें दिन मां दुर्गा ने असुर का वध कर दिया।
राम के पदचिह्नों पर चलने का शुभ मुहुर्त
इस तिथि की विजय यात्रा मात्र लंका या रावण पर की जाने वाली राजनीतिक जयमात्र नहीं है, बल्कि सनातन धर्म और मानवीय मूल्यों की विजय है। यह दुख में धैर्य करने और सुख के समय कभी न इतराने के उपदेश से आरंभ हुई थी। यह अवसर भगवान श्रीराम के पदचिह्नों पर चलने के लिए संकल्प लेने का शुभ मुहूर्त है। दशहरे का पर्व निरपराध लोगों को सतत रुलाने वाले रावण के अहंकार रूपी दस सिरों और पौरूष की दुरुपयोगिनी बीस भुजाओं के विनाश का प्रतीक है। विजयदशमी की पूर्वपीठिका का आरंभ आश्विन शुल्क पक्ष के पहले नवरात्र से ही हो जाता है।
नीलकंठ के दर्शन शुभ
लोकहित के लिए विष पीकर अपने कंठ को नीला कर लेने वाले भगवान शिव के रूप नीलकंठ के दशहरे के पर्व पर दर्शन बहुत ही सौभाग्यपूर्ण माने जाते हैं। मान्यताओं के अनुसार भगवान नीलकंठ दर्शनार्थियों को स्वस्थ, सुखी और यथावत रहने का आशीर्वाद देते हैं। यही कारण है कि लोग सजधजकर स्वस्थ प्रसन्न मन से उनका दर्शन करते हैं।
रुके काम शुरू हो जाते हैं
इस पर्व से पहले बरसात के कारण राजाओं की यात्राएं और चातुर्मास के कारण सन्यासियों के आवागमन स्थगित होते हैं, लेकिन आश्विन मास के शुक्ल पक्ष के आते-आते मार्ग सुगम हो जाते हैं। स्वच्छ अम्बर में पवन-संयोग के कारण मेघ बलाहक पक्षी की तरह उड़ने लगते हैं। ऋतु सुहावनी हो जाती है। फसलें लहलहाने लगती हैं।
