मरुदेवी माता की उचाई 500 धनुष्य की थी। उनके पिता और माता का नाम श्रीकांत और मरूदेव था। मरुदेवी माता के पति का नाम नाभि था। नाभि और मरुदेवी का जन्म युगल रुपे जोड़े में हुआ था। मरुदेवी माता के पुत्र का नाम आदिनाथ था। इस काल में सबसे प्रथम तीर्थंकर आदिनाथ प्रभु है। प्रथम तीर्थंकर की माता बनने का सौभाग्य मरुदेवी माता को मिला है।
आदिनाथ प्रभु दीक्षा लेते है। तब मरुदेवी माता बहुत रोते है। इससे उनकी आंखों में पडल जम जाते है। जब भी भरत चक्रवर्ती मरुदेवी माता को मिलते है तब मरुदेवी माता आदिनाथ प्रभु के समाचार पूछती है। आदिनाथ प्रभु कहाँ है ? ये सब पूछते है।
जब आदिनाथ प्रभु को पुरीमताल में केवलज्ञान होता है। तब भरत चक्रवर्ती मरुदेवी माता को कहते है के चलो में आपको आपके पुत्र ऋषभ की रिद्धि बताता हुं। उनको केवलज्ञान हुआ है , वो अभी पुरीमताल में है।
भरत चक्रवर्ती मरुदेवी माता को हाथी की अंबाडी उपर बिठाकर आदिनाथ प्रभु का जहाँ समवसरण था वहाँ ले जाते है। मार्ग में जाते समय भरत चक्रवर्ती प्रभु के गुणों , समवसरण की रिद्धि , देवो की अनुपम सेवा के गुणगान करते है। वो सुनते सुनते ही मरुदेवी माता को हर्ष के आंसु आते है। और उनकी आंखों के पडल दूर हो जाते है। वो समय दूर से समवसरण की रचना और प्रभु की महत्ता नजरो से निहालती है।
तब मरुदेवी माता विचार करते है की अहो ! इतनी समृद्धि के बावजूद पुत्र वीतराग है। उनको मेरे पर स्नेह ही नहीं है। अपनी आत्मा की साधना वो ही लक्ष्य है। जगत में कोई किसी का नही है। ये आत्मा ही साधने जैसा योग्य है। मैं क्युं पर की चिंता करु ? ऐसे एकत्व भावना भाते शुक्ल ध्यान की श्रेणी में चढ़ते उनको केवलज्ञान होता है। वो अंतमुहूर्त में मोक्ष में जाते है। फागुन वद 11 के दिन मरुदेवी माता मोक्ष में जाते है। इन्द्रो ने मरुदेवी माता का निर्वाण महोत्सव किया।
मरुदेवी माता ने 65000 पेढ़ी देखी थी। भाव की दीवाली मरुदेवी माता ने की। गृहस्थ स्त्रीलिंग में मरुदेवी माता सिद्ध हुए। मरुदेवी माता अतीर्थ सिद्ध हुए। ये अवसर्पिणी काल में मोक्ष के द्वार मरुदेवी माता ने खोले है।
राजोहरण लिये बिना मरुदेवी माता मोक्ष में गये। ऐसे प्रथम तीर्थंकर के प्रथम मोक्ष में जाने वाले मरुदेवी माता को वंदन हमारा।
The height of Marudevi Mata was 500 Dhanushya. His father and mother’s names were Shrikant and Marudev. Marudevi Mata’s husband’s name was Nabhi. Nabhi and Marudevi were born as a couple named Rupa. The name of Marudevi Mata’s son was Adinath. The first Tirthankara of this period is Adinath Prabhu. Marudevi Mata has got the good fortune of becoming the mother of the first Tirthankar.
Adinath Prabhu takes initiation. Then Marudevi Mata cries a lot. Due to this, clouds get accumulated in their eyes. Whenever Bharat Chakraborty meets Marudevi Mata, Marudevi Mata asks about the news of Adinath Prabhu. Where is Adinath Prabhu? Everyone asks this.
When Adinath Prabhu attains Kevalgyan in Purimatal. Then Bharat Chakravarti says to Marudevi Mata, let me tell you the Riddhi of your son Rishabh. He has attained Kevalgyan, he is still in Purimatal.
Bharat Chakraborty takes Marudevi Mata to the place where Adinath Prabhu was seated, sitting on the elephant’s trunk. While going on the way, Bharat Chakravarty sings praises of Lord’s virtues, the wisdom of Samavasarana and his unique service to the gods. As soon as she heard this, Marudevi Mata shed tears of joy. And the clouds in their eyes go away. From a distance, one can see the creation of Samavasaran and the importance of God.
Then Marudevi Mata thinks, Oh! Despite so much prosperity, the son is selfish. He has no affection for me. Cultivation of one’s soul is the goal itself. No one belongs to anyone in this world. Only this soul is worthy of cultivation. Why should I worry? In such a way, those who like the feeling of oneness and climb into the category of Shukla Dhyana, attain Kevaljnana. He attains salvation at the end. On the day of Phagun Vad 11, Marudevi Mata goes to salvation. Indro performed the Nirvana Mahotsav of Marudevi Mata. Marudevi Mata had seen 65000 Pedhis. Marudevi Mata celebrated Diwali of feelings. Marudevi proved to be the mother in the household female gender. Marudevi Mata proved to be Atirtha. Marudevi Mata has opened these doors of salvation during the Avasarpini period.
Marudevi Mata went to salvation without taking the throne. Our salutations to Marudevi Mata, the first Tirthankar who attained salvation.
