गुरु पूर्णिमा
आत्मस्वरुप का ज्ञान पाने के अपने कर्त्तव्य की याद दिलाने वाला, मन को दैवी गुणों से विभूषित करनेवाला, सदगुरु के प्रेम और ज्ञान की गंगा में बारंबार डुबकी लगाने हेतु प्रोत्साहन देनेवाला जो पर्व है – वही है ‘गुरु पूर्णिमा’ ।
भगवान वेदव्यास ने वेदों का संकलन किया, १८ पुराणों और उपपुराणों की रचना की। ऋषियों के बिखरे अनुभवों को समाजभोग्य बना कर व्यवस्थित किया। पंचम वेद ‘महाभारत’ की रचना इसी पूर्णिमा के दिन पूर्ण की और विश्व के सुप्रसिद्ध आर्ष ग्रंथ ब्रह्मसूत्र का लेखन इसी दिन आरंभ किया। तब देवताओं ने वेदव्यासजी का पूजन किया। तभी से व्यासपूर्णिमा मनायी जा रही है। इस दिन जो शिष्य ब्रह्मवेत्ता सदगुरु के श्रीचरणों में पहुँचकर संयम-श्रद्धा-भक्ति से उनका पूजन करता है उसे वर्षभर के पर्व मनाने का फल मिलता है।
और पूनम (पूर्णिमा) तो तुम मनाते हो लेकिन गुरुपूनम तुम्हें मनाती है कि क्या! संसार में बहुत भटके, बहुत अटके और बहुत लटके। जहाँ गये वहाँ धोखा ही खाया, अपने को ही सताया। अब जरा अपने आत्मा में आराम पाओ।
हरिहर आदिक जगत में पूज्य देव जो कोय ।
सदगुरु की पूजा किये सबकी पूजा होय ॥
कितने ही कर्म करो, कितनी ही उपासनाएँ करो, कितने ही व्रत और अनुष्ठान करो, कितना ही धन इकट्ठा कर लो और् कितना ही दुनिया का राज्य भोग लो लेकिन जब तक सदगुरु के दिल का राज्य तुम्हारे दिल तक नहीं पहुँचता, सदगुरुओं के दिल के खजाने तुम्हारे दिल तक नही उँडेले जाते, जब तक तुम्हारा दिल सदगुरुओं के दिल को झेलने के काबिल नहीं बनता, तब तक सब कर्म, उपासनाएँ, पूजाएँ अधुरी रह जाती हैं। देवी-देवताओं की पूजा के बाद भी कोई पूजा शेष रह जाती है किंतु सदगुरु की पूजा के बाद कोई पूजा नहीं बचती।
सदगुरु अंतःकरण के अंधकार को दूर करते हैं। आत्मज्ञान के युक्तियाँ बताते हैं गुरु प्रत्येक शिष्य के अंतःकरण में निवास करते हैं। वे जगमगाती ज्योति के समान हैं जो शिष्य की बुझी हुई हृदय-ज्योति को प्रकटाते हैं। गुरु मेघ की तरह ज्ञानवर्षा करके शिष्य को ज्ञानवृष्टि में नहलाते रहते हैं। गुरु ऐसे वैद्य हैं जो भवरोग को दूर करते हैं। गुरु वे माली हैं जो जीवनरूपी वाटिका को सुरभित करते हैं। गुरु अभेद का रहस्य बताकर भेद में अभेद का दर्शन करने की कला बताते हैं। इस दुःखरुप संसार में गुरुकृपा ही एक ऐसा अमूल्य खजाना है जो मनुष्य को आवागमन के कालचक्र से मुक्ति दिलाता है।
सदगुरु जिसे मिल जाय सो ही धन्य है जन मन्य है।
सुरसिद्ध उसको पूजते ता सम न कोऊ अन्य है॥
अधिकारी हो गुरुदेव से उपदेश जो नर पाय है।
भोला तरे संसार से नहीं गर्भ में फिर आय है॥

Guru Purnima
The festival which reminds us of our duty to get the knowledge of self, which adorns the mind with divine qualities, which encourages us to take repeated dips in the Ganges of Sadguru’s love and knowledge – that is ‘Guru Purnima’.
Lord Vedvyas compiled the Vedas, composed 18 Puranas and Upapuranas. Organized the scattered experiences of sages by making them socially accessible. He completed the composition of the fifth Veda ‘Mahabharata’ on this full moon day and started writing the world’s famous Arsh Granth Brahmasutra on this day. Then the deities worshiped Vedvyasji. Since then Vyaspurnima is being celebrated. On this day, the disciple who reaches the feet of Brahmavetta Sadguru and worships him with restraint-faith-devotion, he gets the result of celebrating the festival throughout the year.
And you celebrate Poonam (full moon) but Guru Poonam celebrates you! Many wandered in the world, many stuck and many hanging. Wherever he went, he was cheated and tortured himself. Now find rest in your soul.
Who is the worshipable God in Harihar Adik world.
Everyone who worships Sadguru is worshipped.
No matter how many deeds you do, no matter how many rituals you do, no matter how many fasts and rituals you do, no matter how much money you collect and no matter how much you enjoy the kingdom of the world, but until the kingdom of the Sadguru’s heart reaches your heart, the treasures of the Sadguru’s heart Even your heart is not poured out, until your heart is able to bear the heart of Sadgurus, till then all the deeds, worships, worships remain incomplete. Even after worshiping the deities, some worship remains but after worshiping the Sadguru, there is no worship left.
Sadguru removes the darkness of conscience. Guru tells the tips of self-knowledge. Guru resides in the heart of every disciple. He is like a shining light that reveals the extinguished heart-light of the disciple. The Guru showers the disciple with rain of knowledge like a cloud and continues to bathe him in the rain of knowledge. Guru is such a doctor who removes material diseases. Guru is the gardener who beautifies the garden of life. Guru explains the secret of Abhed and explains the art of seeing Abhed in difference. In this sorrowful world, Guru’s grace is such an invaluable treasure that liberates a man from the time cycle of traffic.
The one who gets Sadguru is the one who is blessed. Sursiddh worships him like no one else. Adhikari be updesh from Gurudev who is a human being. Bhola has not come from your world but has come again in your womb.
